Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 385: One Familiar Left

”This is…” Filia was completely stunned. ”Whatʼs going on? I know that the battle has been going on for more than 25 minutes, but Nathanʼs familiars have defeated two of Alavenyaʼs familiars.

”How come theyʼre able to beat them so fast when theyʼre clearly weaker…”

Sullivan squinted his eyes. ”Thatʼs the difference in quality. With due respect, Alavenyaʼs familiars are inferior in terms of quality. They are strong, but Nathanʼs familiars are simply stronger. And it seems the other two are going to join them as well…”

”I see. But from the way I see it, the two familiars that have defeated their respective opponents donʼt seem to be planning to help other familiars or their summoner. Why?”

”I donʼt know.” Sullivan shook his head. ”Nathan has probably instructed them that way, but from what I can see, Nathan is planning to crush Alavenya completely.

”He is probably aiming for something like four familiars achieving their respective victory while he somehow defeats Alavenya, whether through mutual destruction or exhaustion.

”Of course, the gap between Nathan and Alavenya is huge. However, this gap is bridged by three things. The first one is his uniform. It seems to have been reinforced by a lot of good materials.

”The second one is the extraordinary healing ability. That familiar even maintains his Synchronization the whole time.

”Last but not least, whatever he has that allows him to predict Alavenyaʼs movements.

”If not for these three, Nathan would have taken more damage. In fact, a single hit would have been fatal.

”While it might not be a complete victory, itʼs still a crushing defeat for Alavenya,” Sullivan explained.

”Is that so? I never expected Nathan would be bold enough to actually challenge Alavenya by himself.” Filia shook her head helplessly.

”What do you think, Noelle? If you end up fighting Nathan at the end of the year, can you win?” Flora asked.

Noelle frowned. ”If he doesnʼt improve, then yes. I might win pretty easily. However, with his growth speed, Iʼm not sure. The reason he accepted my grandfatherʼs forced request must be because he had a certain level of confidence in defeating me. If it were anyone else, it might be a bluff. But Nathan might have that possibility.”

”So, what are you going to do now? Are you going to fight him?”

Noelle didnʼt say anything because she couldnʼt decide.

While they were commenting on Anubis and Jinwu, Nidhogg was at the final stage of his battle.

The dark butterfly had a broken left arm. There were a lot of bruises all over her body.

Her power was neutralized by Nidhoggʼs chaos element. And she couldnʼt contend against the physical strength of a dragon.

Her condition was much worse than the rest because she had a lot of internal injuries.

She released another dark beam toward Nidhogg, trying to buy time. She flew away, trying to gain some distance and keep it this way so that she could buy Alavenya enough time.

However, Nidhogg actually took the attack head-on so that he was able to catch up to her.

”!!!” The dark butterfly raised her hand, releasing the pollen.

The pollen was glittering in the air before it exploded, engulfing Nidhogg.

A translucent sphere appeared around Nidhogg, messing with the flow of Ena around him. As a result, no blast actually reached him.

Nidhogg caught up and grabbed the butterfly with his left hand and dove, smashing her into the ground.

Flame leaked out of the corner of his mouth as if he was ready to release another flame breath. But Jason had already appeared. ”Please stop. The battle has been concluded. The butterfly is to leave the arena.”

The flame in his mouth disappeared. Nidhogg looked a bit dissatisfied.

Unlike the others, who somehow had an exciting fight, there was a huge difference between their opponents and her.

Even Anubis, who was facing the weakest enemy, still had some resistance. On the other hand, Nidhogg couldnʼt feel any of that from this butterfly.

It was as if the butterfly had given up before the fight.

ʼDid that Dragon King warn her or scare her because Iʼm a dragon? Thatʼs why this butterfly doesnʼt really want to fight me.ʼ Nidhogg snorted.

The last one to finish their fight was Fenrir and the lamia.

”Hahaha. Continue.” Fenrir shouted in a happy tone. He slapped the lamia on the face, causing her to spit blood.

The lamia gritted her teeth. Even with her body tilting to the side due to the slap, she managed to spin her body and waved his blade, striking Fenrirʼs body.

The blade pierced his skin but wasnʼt enough to cut through his flesh. Fenrir then slapped her again with another paw.

The lamia moved back and struck him multiple times, but Fenrir parried them with his paws. The lamia raised her glaive and hit Fenrir from the left. There was a force like a sweeping force but much sharper that hit him, yet Fenrir only laughed.

It managed to hurt him, but Fenrir didnʼt care. He simply struck her body with his claws.

The lamia couldnʼt continue at this rate. She had exhausted almost every option. Whenever she moved away, Fenrir would maintain their distance and strike her.

If she stopped, she would be rampaging like this without care for his injuries.

”Come. Donʼt break yet!” Fenrir grinned. The more injuries he had, the more excited he became. It was as if he was reminded of the time he fought the gods.

The lamia maintained her offense. Even if she couldnʼt defeat him, she wanted to injure him as much as possible. It didnʼt seem the wound was healing, so she thought Anubis was too occupied with Nathan.

Meanwhile, the other three familiars were simply chilling on the side.

”Did he tell you not to heal him, Anubis?” Jinwu asked.

”That lizard is a masochist. He is excited when he is wounded.” Nidhogg snorted.

”Well, I will just heal him after this is over, including that female humanʼs familiars. If I heal him right now, I will be listening to him wailing like a baby, and itʼs annoying.” Anubis shrugged.
