Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 399: Giving Another Bullshit (Bonus)

Ricardo went up to the stage and tried his best to drag his teacher down.

On the other hand, Vivian turned back to the audience.

”These are the classifications. I have taken the data from more than 1,000 subjects, but this measurement might be adjusted after getting more data.

”As such, I have a suggestion for the Grand Magic Tower. It is to register all the summoners with this as the criteria.

”Iʼm aware how difficult it is to actually implement this concept worldwide. Hence, I suggest we start with the new generation of summoners.

”This way, we will be able to legitimately register the summoners from their rank to their names.

”Of course, the summoners might think this is too excessive because itʼs a breach of private information. However, with the assurance of the Grand Magic Tower, weʼll be able to minimize the information leakage.

”In addition, this will also provide various benefits to the summoners. First of all, with this new classification, people can easily calculate whether you are strong enough to fight a certain alien or not.

”With this consideration, you donʼt have to think hard when considering a summonerʼs qualification. Of course, it doesnʼt mean we should forget about other things, such as the summonerʼs track record. Also, if the older summoners are willing to register, they will be able to do so.”

The people couldnʼt help but whisper to each other. The suggestion actually made sense. They could actually record the information of a summoner, which allowed the summoner to be granted easier access to all kinds of things by simply providing this information.

With the qualification and reputation of the Grand Magic Tower, they could guarantee the summonersʼ abilities.

Besides, there are a lot of unknown summoners who awaken their power without anyoneʼs knowledge. In fact, there are also summoners who are registered through terrorist organizations and other things.

Not all summoners went to the school after all. At the very least, half of the summoners in this hall awakened in this place instead of the school.

However, if they could gather all the legitimate summoners from school, the magic tower, and other influences, they could keep track of a lot of summoners. In addition, they had the right to be suspicious if one didnʼt register through a legitimate way since they might be related to terrorists.

Of course, it might need a lot of resources to do this, but they had to do it, so they didnʼt need to do this anymore in the future after the system had been fully established.

One professor couldnʼt help but raise his hand. ”Thereʼs one thing Iʼm curious about. Have you calculated the amount of resources or the plan on how to proceed with the registration?”

Instead of Vivian, it was Nathanʼs turn to answer.

”Yes. First of all, thereʼs no need to actually have something as big as this crystal. In exchange, having a smaller cell, which can contain at least a cell… or more like something lower than a single cellʼs maximum capability, for example, a maximum of 10,000 Ena, should be fine.

”You can put this in most cities. Meanwhile, you can place a much better crystal in a bigger city, which will reduce the cost of implementing this system. You can simply ask them to go to a bigger city or even a capital city to test them.

”As for a crystal this big, you probably only need a few of them in the world. After all, there arenʼt a lot of Arcane Summoners or World Class Summoners to begin with, let alone a Divine Summoner. Of course, Ena can fluctuate due to the summoning. As such, they should also register their familiars, which might end up changing their summoner rank.

”In addition, I believe thereʼs research regarding the identification, which allows you to avoid forgery 95% of the time.”

After listening to Nathanʼs explanation, another professor asked, ”What if theyʼve used their Ena during the way and somehow exhausted themselves? Wonʼt the measurement become inaccurate?”

Nathan shook his head. ”No. Professor Klen confirmed it 30 years ago in his research called ʼEna Utilization Particles.ʼ The way we use the Ena is not that we release all that Ena outside our body. Instead, we squeeze out the energy stored within that particle.

”What we measure is that particle, not the amount of Ena left within that particle.”

”Professor Klen… That guy, huh?” He lowered his hand and nodded in understanding.

”Now that weʼre talking about this topic, I believe thereʼs one more qualification that needs to be considered as well.” Nathan raised a finger, which piqued the peopleʼs interests. ”It is the classification of growth.

”For example, because of Professor Klen, we are aware that the particles themselves wonʼt go away. Instead, those particles will be used when we are using the summoning ritual, which makes the particles transferred into the familiars.

”However, letʼs take a look from another perspective. Why would someone swallow a core to increase their Ena?

”Why would the Ena end up melting in your mouth? Why would they end up affecting your body, for example, turning your body hot or even inducing pain? Why do you need stronger bodies in order to absorb a higher-level core?

”The answer is actually as simple as considering the cores themselves as a kind of medicine.

”This ʼmedicineʼ enters our body and turns into particles that end up staying in our body. In that case, how is our body responding to this particle? That is reflected in how much Ena can your body absorb.

”Yes, Iʼm talking about the absorption rate. Familiars have measurements for their growth potential in the form of ʼQuality,ʼ but how about us? Surprisingly, we also have it. We have monitored a lot of people and realized that everyone has a different level of absorption rate. One proto-class crystal might give a different amount of Ena for two individuals.

”As such, this classification needs to be included.” Nathanʼs expression turned solemn.

He couldnʼt help but add inwardly, ʼThis is it. I have finally given you all the bullshit tropes from ʼhunterʼ novels. They love to see the rank of the person and their talent. I have seen all those bullshit F-rank hunters who end up becoming SSS hunters whatsoever. Let me create this bullshit in this world.ʼ
