Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 64 Testing and Upgrading Skills

Chapter 64 Testing and Upgrading Skills

After the troll activated his talent skills, he also raised the Kalai giant ax in his hand, and started charging towards the skeletons.

Skeletons surrounded the territory from all directions, and it was obviously not enough to rely on twenty gray wolves, giant frost wolves, and two giant monsters.

”Roar--”

Two long tiger roars came, and at the same time, the figures of the two tigers turned from virtual to real.

After the golden tiger summoned two fierce tigers, it took the initiative to guard a large area.

As the soldiers took the initiative to attack, the situation stabilized in an instant, because both sides were overwhelmed by a certain amount of strength, and the skeletons that appeared began to disappear in large numbers.

[Kill LV1 ordinary skeleton x32, kill LV2 ordinary skeleton x6! 】

[Gain 42 points of experience! 】

【Ding, your soldiers (bronze rank) are too high-ranked to gain experience! 】

[Kill LV1 ordinary skeleton x8]

[Gain 8 points of experience! 】

[Kill LV1 ordinary skeleton x15]

[Gain 15 points of experience! 】

[Ding, you have soldiers under your command that can be upgraded, and you can consume soul crystals to upgrade the soldiers! 】

Soon, as all the skeletons were killed, except for the Bronze-rank soldiers who did not gain experience due to the difference in rank, all the Black Iron-rank and ordinary-rank soldiers under his command had all met the upgrade requirements.

However, Guo Xiuwen did not consume resources to upgrade their levels.

As far as Goblin’s current strength is concerned, there is no difference between upgrading and not upgrading. During the battle just now, he specially arranged them and the Ratmen in front of the Lord’s Mansion to avoid being affected by the battle.

Instead, there are six gray wolves of the black iron rank. He originally wanted to raise the opponent’s level.

They have been upgraded from LV3 to LV4 because of system rewards.

The reason for being able to accumulate enough LV4 to upgrade to LV5 so quickly is that the upgrade of the system rewards is a whole big level. They can be upgraded to LV4 at any time, and they have already accumulated 300 experience points.

系统升级后，它们的经验不是LV4（0/400），而是LV4（300/400）。

To upgrade from LV4 to LV5, only 400 experience points are needed, so in fact they only need to accumulate another 100 experience points.

With so many skeleton soldiers now, even if a skeleton soldier only provides 1 experience point, it is not difficult to get 100 experience points.

But Guo Xiuwen is not in a hurry to upgrade the opponent’s level.

It’s not that he was reluctant to part with some resources. In fact, a lot of resources he had reserved before were used to improve the rank of soldiers.

The reason why they don’t use it now is because the three gray wolves have already been upgraded to LV5 because of the rewards of the system.

Then there was a system prompt, which already explained that the highest level of ordinary soldiers can only be raised to LV5.

At present, the six black iron-level soldiers only need to upgrade to another level. If they do not advance in the future, it will be impossible to improve their own level.

So he wants to put this last opportunity to level up at a critical moment.

When he was in the trial space, he already knew that after the soldiers were upgraded, both their injuries and their physical strength would return to their best condition.

Don’t look at these skeleton warriors who are easily killed now, but there may be danger in the future.

Keeping the opponent’s level from improving may be a life-saving chance in the next battle.

The skeleton walking in front was almost resolved.

Whoosh whoosh—

In the dark forest, many white-boned arrows pierced through the air and landed on the soldiers who were massacring among the skeletons.

One of the gray wolves of the black iron rank was eager to kill, and went a little deep, and was hit by several arrows in an instant.

Seeing this scene, Guo Xiuwen had a thought, and a little green light appeared on Gray Wolf’s body.

He was trying the effect of rejuvenation technique.

After the gray wolf was injured, he retreated under his command.

During the retreat, the bone arrows that had been inserted into the opponent’s body were squeezed out one by one by the muscles and fell to the ground, and the wounds on it also healed quickly.

The effect of the rejuvenation technique was beyond his expectation, such a strong effect, it’s totally amazing!

”Not bad! I will hide behind and fight in the future, so that I can be safer and more handsome.”

Guo Xiuwen saw that the rejuvenation technique worked well, and it didn’t seem to consume too much.

Thinking that healing skills have always been life-saving, he looked at his 12 skill points, then focused on the rejuvenation technique, and silently raised his level.

[Ding, do you want to consume 1 skill point to increase the level of rejuvenation?whether】

After he confirmed it, the rejuvenation technique changed instantly, the level changed from LV1 to LV2, and the effect also changed.

Rejuvenation LV2: (Continues for a period of time, restores 20% of the target’s injuries, and the effect lasts for 30 seconds.)
Guo Xiuwen glanced at the effect of the skill, and his eyes lit up immediately.

It’s just a level up, but the effect is doubled, so what if you level up again.

[Ding, do you want to consume 1 skill point to increase the level of rejuvenation?whether】

Very good, the skill points consumed did not increase, and he chose OK again.

Rejuvenation LV3: (Continues for a period of time, restores 30% of the target’s injuries, and the effect lasts for 30 seconds.)
Although the effect is not doubled as he guessed, the 10% increase effect is worth a little skill point.

Looking at the remaining ten skill points, Guo Xiuwen resisted the idea of directly maxing out the rejuvenation technique.

He also has two other skills. Compared with Rejuvenation, Transfiguration and Summoning Companions are more like Druid’s signature skills.

After the rejuvenation upgrade, the battlefield changed a little in a short period of time.

Because in addition to the continuous flow of white bone arrows flying out of the forest, the ranks of skeleton warriors who came out also reached the black iron rank.

”There will be no enemies of the Bronze Rank behind!”

Guo Xiuwen complained, and a rejuvenation technique fell on the giant monster.

Compared with the fur of wild beasts, the defense effect of giant monsters against arrows is still a little worse.

Coupled with the fact that they held weapons, they cleaned up the skeletons much faster than other soldiers, and they went deep unconsciously.

And when faced with the arrow attack in the forest, they were even going to rush in to find trouble with the skeleton shooter.

As a result, more skeletons besieged the two of them, and they naturally suffered some minor injuries.

The two rejuvenation spells fell on the giant monster with an interval of about 30 seconds. Guo Xiuwen carefully felt his own consumption.

Compared with the previous Rejuvenation, the upgraded Rejuvenation costs more and has a longer casting interval.

This was beyond his expectation. After all, according to past experience, the higher the skill level, the shorter the cooling time.

And he also felt that if he used the rejuvenation spell while stuck in the cooling time, he would probably have to use ten skills in a row, and the magic power in his body would no longer be enough.

”Then do you want to add some spiritual attributes?”

In fact, he didn’t know whether magic power had anything to do with spiritual attributes.

On the contrary, after becoming a druid, a message appeared in his mind, that is, to stay in the forest, and as time goes by, the magic power on him will slowly increase.

Of course, this timeline will be very long.

Finding that his magic power was not particularly abundant, Guo Xiuwen did not continue to use the rejuvenation technique.
