Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 56: Upgrading the Territory

Chapter 56: Upgrading the Territory
Hearing that the other party seemed to have finally turned to the topic, Guo Xiuwen also restrained his thoughts and asked seriously.

”In that case, tell me about the functions of the tavern, then I seem to be able to provide the tavern with a variety of drinks, right?”

”Hee hee, I have been introducing it to the lord.”

Meimei heard his question, and sent it directly to the bar again, then stretched out her hand to rest her chin on her palm, and spoke lazily.

”Hee hee, the tavern mainly sells wine and food, but because there is nothing in the lord’s territory, it can’t open now.”

”Hee hee, so, my lord, please do your best.”

At this point, Guo Xiuwen did not expect that the opening of the tavern really needs to rely on himself.

In this way, Meimei didn’t lie to herself, she was really the boss.

”You can still sell food, so can I just put some food here?”

Hearing that food can be sold, it happened that Guo Xiuwen had harvested a lot of food from hunting in the past two days.

”Hee hee, my lord, these basic foods are not acceptable. If you want to attract passing heroes, elite units and caravans into the tavern, you need special ingredients.”

But unfortunately, Meimei directly vetoed his idea.

Of course, although the tavern could not be opened, he also got more information through the other party’s words.

First of all, it is a fact that the tavern can attract heroes. In addition, it can also attract elite units and caravans.

”Then can you tell me what is going on in this world?”

”Hehe, Lord Lord, don’t be impatient. After the trial period, you will understand this world.”

Not surprisingly, Meimei still refused to reveal the news to him, but what was different from others was that she limited a special word to him.

The trial period has passed!
At twelve o’clock tonight, the trial period will pass.

So, at that time, the other party will reveal some information to himself.

After finally meeting a good talker, Guo Xiuwen let him go without preparation.

But now there is not much time before the trial period. He still has a lot of things to arrange one by one. After thinking about it, he can only leave temporarily.

”Hee hee, by the way, respected lord, I have a suggestion for you. It’s just a suggestion. The trial period is about to pass. If there is a chance, I think you should raise the level of your territory.”

Meimei seemed to see his intention to leave, and spoke first again, giving him a suggestion.

”Upgrade the territory!”

Guo Xiuwen was stunned for a moment, then just nodded and stepped out of the tavern.

”I can’t still see through my storage bag. These people are mysterious. My soldiers are better. If you are stupid, be stupid, at least you don’t have to be so tired.”

After walking out of the tavern, he thought about it carefully. It stands to reason that Meimei behaved mysteriously. He should not listen to the other party, but follow his own plan.

But another voice in his heart told him that the other party had no reason to harm him.

It can’t be that you have taken a fancy to yourself.

And the most important thing is that the other party knows about the trial period.

”I won’t be hit by the opponent’s charm skill, otherwise, why do you trust the opponent so much?”

When he arrived at the Lord’s Mansion, Guo Xiuwen was still a little uncertain about making a decision.

So he looked at Alia who was on the side.

All the soldiers recruited from the lair can return to the lair to rest, and his subordinates are either goblins or wild beasts, so he has never considered building a house.

Since there were no soldiers to comment, he didn’t think about it.

After Arya was recruited, she needed a place to live.

But these days, Guo Xiuwen has been full of plans, so naturally he has no time to deal with this matter, so he asked the other party to live with him in the Lord’s Mansion.

Well, there’s only one bed, but it’s huge.

”Alia, what do you think of our territory?”

Because there is no one else to talk to, Guo Xiuwen can only choose to chat with Alia.

”Very good. Although the strength of the lord is not very good, the soldiers under him are very strong.”

Guo Xiuwen: ”.”

As a child, it’s normal for your speech to be unpleasant.

He felt that it was useless to ask the other party.

”Did the lord encounter any problems, you can tell them, maybe Alia can solve it for you.”

Aliya blinked her big eyes, and she could see that the other party really wanted to help.

After thinking about it, he told about Meimei’s existence and the other party’s last suggestion to upgrade his territory.

”Oh, has the tavern opened? I remember that in the tribe, the tavern was the busiest place. The owner is a succubus, so amazing. It turned out to be the Destiny Tavern with a manager. The lord is really lucky.”

As a result, Aliya’s attention was all on the tavern, and then she noticed the manager of the tavern, but she didn’t upgrade the territory at all.

Seeing that Aliya’s words became more and more outrageous, and she even planned to go to the tavern immediately to see what the succubus looked like, Guo Xiuwen calmed down instead.

He still had things to do, but just as he was about to leave, Aliya stopped him.

”Lord, although many of my memories have been forgotten, there is one thing I remember very clearly. Back then, the elders said that upgrading the territory is the top priority under any circumstances.

If our tribe could continue to upgrade, maybe I wouldn’t need to be sealed. ”

Hearing Alia’s words, Guo Xiuwen turned his head to look over, but saw that the other party was also looking at him very seriously.

He, who had made a good decision, laughed out loud.

Compared with the mysterious succubus, Aliya, as his soldier, should not do anything detrimental to the territory.

Besides, this is the lord’s world. He remembered that there was a news at that time that the territory and the lord’s strength were linked.

Guo Xiuwen was worried that after the protection period, the territory would be directly destroyed by the endless skeletons and ghosts around him, so the reason for not upgrading the territory was that he wanted to keep a heart of the territory and use it to make a comeback at that time.

But now it seems that the threat of skeletons and ghosts must exist, but it is not enough to directly let him die without a place to bury him.

Moreover, the mysterious appearance of Succubus Meimei at the end does not seem to be just a simple proposal.

He clicked on the lord’s stele and looked at the upgrade conditions. In addition to the heart of the territory, it only needs [-] units of resources.

Compared with the remaining 44000 units of basic resources left, this consumption is not unacceptable.

[Ding, it is detected that all the conditions for upgrading the territory are met, do you want to upgrade the territory?whether】

There was no hesitation after clicking, Guo Xiuwen directly clicked OK.
