Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 52 Factors of Soldiers' Advanced Success

Chapter 52 Factors of Soldiers’ Advanced Success

As for the suspected lord in the east, he can only look for him after the novice protection period has passed.

Because there was less than half a day left, he walked back to the territory, and then set off from the territory, it was impossible to catch up.

And twelve o’clock in the evening is the time when the novice protection period ends, and he needs to return to his territory before then.

As for rushing in the dark, even with a map in hand, he still wouldn’t dare.

The forest environment is different from other places, because the road is not so easy to identify because of the huge trees blocking the way.

In fact, his current position from the surroundings is actually not that far away based on the straight-line distance.

However, blocked by the giant trees, the progress was winding and winding, which was very time-consuming.

This is because there are not many shrubs in the forest, otherwise, it would take more time on the road.

Guo Xiuwen waited for almost two hours, and then began to check the harvest of today’s hunting.

Food +6700 units!

The harvest this time is not insignificant, but this harvest is only a one-off.

Because of his hunting this time, it is estimated that no large beasts will come to the lake to drink water for at least ten days and a half.

And if this kind of extermination hunting happens more and more times, it is hard to say that the already fragile desolate forest ecology will collapse soon.

During these hunts, Guo Xiuwen also discovered something interesting.

That is, if it is a beast-type wild monster that is more aggressive, such as the tiger he killed before, and the black bear, including the wild boar.

After killing them, the food obtained is a unit of 500g, and in addition to food, they will also drop some other things.

Such as blood, fur, bones and other items.

But herbivorous animals are different. After killing them, the food obtained needs 1000g to be counted as one unit, and there is no other additional harvest.

Guo Xiuwen was a little curious about this phenomenon because he had already discovered it.

In fact, after killing a wild beast, what is valuable is not only the food on them, but other things.

But the herbivores did not. Even if they were bigger than the wild beasts, the harvest from hunting them was actually less.

Moreover, Guo Xiuwen’s idea of having a fixed source of food was also shattered.

After the two tigers recruited by Golden Tiger died in the battle, their bodies disappeared directly, leaving no food for them at all.

He even had some doubts, not only the tiger, but if the gray wolf died, he probably wouldn’t leave a corpse for him.

After searching the surrounding resources, Guo Xiuwen did not immediately arrange workshops and labor to come to the crystal mine.

Anyway, the mining of this rare resource is less than the basic resources, so he is not in a hurry for half a day.

Everything will be discussed after tonight’s novice protection period.

Passing by the lord’s territory that had sent him resources several times, Guo Xiuwen arranged for his soldiers to go to the other side’s resource point to change their equipment. Unfortunately, the other side did not start working again.

So I can only go home with regret and sort out today’s harvest.

Wood +2558, Stone +2597, Iron Ore +1780, Food +6714, Crystal +100
Zhang Pin arranged for Broken Bone to take Dalu to install the iron ore workshop that was discovered in the troll camp last night.

But tonight the other party did not come back with resources.

It’s not that they ran away with the resources.

But the distance over there is relatively far, and at the speed of goblins, it will definitely take half a day to go back and forth.

In order not to delay the other party’s mining, Guo Xiuwen did not ask them to transport the resources back on the same day, but transported them the next day.

As the territory’s resource points continue to expand, there will only be more and more such resource points far outside the territory.

After mopping up the hapless lord’s resources twice in a row, Guo Xiuwen has already begun to consider the idea of setting up a resource guard.

Unlike his own storage bag, his soldiers have to find a way to transport it back after mining the resources.

There is no need to worry about the transportation equipment. The workshop has supporting transportation vehicles, and the same kind of resources can be superimposed infinitely.

But the transporter needs someone to operate it, and because the resource point is not far from the territory, there is no danger around it.

If any of the surrounding lords were to take notice in the future, he would be worried that he would be robbed.

Thinking of this, Guo Xiuwen looked at the two bronze advanced cards in his backpack, and he had a candidate for use.

Thinking of this, he called the giant frost wolf over and asked the opponent to lie in front of him. After stroking the opponent’s fur for a while, he used the advanced card on it.

【Frost Giant Wolf】

【Beast】【Bronze】【Elite】

[Level: LV1 (0/100)]

Body shape: 4.1m long (minor)

Weight: 1220KG (minor)

Attack method (physical): pounce, bite, claw

Skills: Frost Aura, Ice Thorn

Imprisonment in the ice prison (summons an ice cube to the designated location, causing a certain amount of magic damage to enemies within the range when it hits, and the ice prison imprisons the enemy for 1.5 seconds, with a cooling time of 1 minute)

Consumption: 15 units of food/day!
After the Frost Wolf advanced, Guo Xiuwen took a look at the opponent’s attributes as usual.

One more skill has been developed, and it is a skill that takes into account both magic attack and control.

Yes, the field control ability of the Frost Giant Wolf will definitely be very strong in the future.

Then, he also discovered a different thing, that is, after the Frost Giant Wolf advanced to Bronze, its basic attributes were a little bit stronger than the Bronze-rank giant wolf he recruited.

Although not much stronger, it is indeed stronger.

In fact, he had considered one thing as early as when Golden Tiger advanced.

That is for soldiers who were originally low-level. After using the advanced card to advance, all levels and experience will be cleared.

According to this logic, should some soldiers who have not been upgraded be selected to advance, so as to save a lot of resources and experience originally upgraded.

But this idea was quickly dismissed by him.

Because he thought of one thing, which was clearly introduced by the advanced card. When soldiers use the advanced card and pass the trial, they only have a certain chance of advancing, not 100%.

In all the advanced cards he has used, he has never encountered a failure.

Guo Xiuwen does not attribute this to his good luck.

On the contrary, he actually had some guesses.

Since it is a trial, the key factor that determines the success of the trial is actually related to the strength of the target itself.

Whether it is the previous Goblin Green, or the Golden Tiger and Frost Wolf.

Dalu’s strength is considered strong among the goblins, otherwise he would not deliberately pick the opponent out to lead the way.

Not to mention the strength of the two elite soldiers.

So last time before he used the advanced card on the Golden Tiger, he deliberately raised the opponent’s level, in itself to increase the success rate of the opponent’s advanced.

Now it seems that after a soldier advances, although his level and experience are all cleared, part of his attributes may still be preserved.
