Global Invasion: I Can Card BUG

Chapter 58 Farewell and Encounter

Chapter 58 Farewell and Encounter
There were pursuers, and the two of them fell into the enemy’s spell and were unable to escape.

At such an urgent juncture, Yan Xiaoyu’s mind turned sharply, trying to find a countermeasure, but suddenly he heard the captain of the heavy knight next to him exhale deeply, as if he felt relieved.

”Smoke bombs, throw them behind.” The heavy knight captain ordered.

Yan Xiaoyu obeyed the order and immediately threw the remaining smoke bombs behind.

Smoke quickly spread from the cave behind. In the dark cave, even Goblin, who had excellent night vision, couldn’t find his way at this moment.

But soon, the spell was uttered again, and there was a slight breeze in the closed cave. The two fleeing quickly realized that these smoke bombs could not stop the chasing goblins for long.

”Is there any potion left? Give me some.” The heavy knight captain asked while running.

Yan Xiaoyu didn’t notice anything wrong, so he quickly took out a bottle of gray-green potion from his pocket and handed it over.

The captain of the heavy knight removed the cork and poured it with his head up. The liquid of the potion quickly dissolved in his body, and a faint vitality emerged from his body.

”Captain, are you exhausted? I still have two bottles left here.” Yan Xiaoyu asked breathlessly.

After being cast by the cloaked goblin, he felt that every step of his feet was extremely slow, as if he was lifting and lowering his feet on the muddy ground, and his physical exertion was very serious.

He was the most agile in the company, and the captain in the heavy armor must have been more tired.

”You keep it, I don’t need it for the time being.” The heavy knight captain said indifferently.

The two quickly ran back to the narrow passageway before. In the dark cave, the body of the goblin that was killed before was still lying on the ground, and it seemed to be very alive.

Obviously the time from setting off here to coming back was not too long, but Yan Xiaoyu felt as if he was in another world.

In such a short while, the four of them lost half of their money, and both Rong Lin and Shuzhen
Yan Xiaoyu shook his head severely, forcing himself not to think about these things again.

The group of goblins behind caught up again, and it seemed that they didn’t intend to let the two escape from here.

Chasing at the forefront was the goblin vanguard with a thick club in his hand.

The magic effect blessed by the cloak goblin on him has not dissipated, and his running speed has accelerated even more.

If this continues, he will definitely be caught up!
Yan Xiaoyu frowned, and entered the passage with the captain one after the other.

”Xiaoyu, my sister, I hope you can help take care of it.” The heavy knight captain said abruptly.

Yan Xiaoyu was stunned, staring at her captain with wide eyes.

He is not a fool to be able to say such words at such a time, so he naturally understands what the captain means.

”Captain, don’t do anything stupid! They haven’t caught up yet, we still have a chance.” Yan Xiaoyu said in a panic: ”Even if someone wants to be the queen, let me go, captain, you are a first-level master, you live Going down is worth more than me!”

The heavy knight shook his head, and said with a relieved expression: ”It’s my fault that caused the current situation. I misjudged the strength of the goblins. I didn’t expect that they had a goblin who could spell.”

”Since there is a mistake, you have to make up for it. I promised you that although this passage is narrow, it is easy to block.”

”So, let me stay. Besides, having this shield blocking here should be enough time for you to escape. I broke my promise to the two of them, but I can’t break my promise to you again.”

Yan Xiaoyu didn’t respond immediately, but was stunned for a while, but then he didn’t accept the kindness at all, and suddenly cursed loudly:
”Captain, don’t pretend to be tall and noble like the protagonist in the movie! You have to understand that you are just an ordinary person. Fifteen days ago, you were an ordinary fitness trainer! Such noble things like staying behind are not suitable for you, you must Go back alive!”

”Aren’t you afraid of death? Why don’t you see your name on the TV news when you say such saintly words!” Yan Xiaoyu shouted, trying to persuade the other party not to do stupid things, ”It’s better to let me do something like this. Such a rotten person does it!”

”I was still a thief fifteen days ago, I should let me go to the back now, let me go to Gao Dashang once! At least I won’t be regarded as a coward by Rong Lin after I go down!”

The captain of the heavy knight took a few deep breaths, as if he was suppressing some emotions, his originally easy-going expression was somewhat ferocious: ”You think I’m not afraid of death? Of course I am! Not only am I afraid of death, but I’m also afraid that I will never see me again.” sister!”

”But so what, I wear this armor, even if I have a first-level strength, I will feel cumbersome. The speed is not as good as yours. If this continues, I will definitely be the first to catch up. It is better to die than all of them. !”

The heavy knight captain looked at Yan Xiaoyu, his eyes seemed to be burning with anger: ”Before I became a fitness trainer, I was a soldier! A soldier should protect the masses. If you need a reason, you are satisfied with this reason, right?” !”

”If you keep talking like this, none of them will be able to escape! Don’t let my hard-working determination go to waste!”

After finishing speaking, he gave Yan Xiaoyu a slight push to make him run farther away, while he turned around and held up the diamond-shaped shield, facing all the enemies behind him.

Yan Xiaoyu staggered and looked back at the heavy knight captain.

In the narrow passage, the heavy knight captain wearing heavy steel armor and holding a diamond-shaped shield, like a door, locked all the goblins chasing after him.

The passage is high but extremely narrow. With the advantage of the shield, the heavy knight can almost block the entire passage.

”Remember, help take care of my sister!” The heavy knight captain roared.

A dull crashing sound spread throughout the passage, the low growls of goblins, the attacks of goblins, the rushing group of goblins, everything was perfectly stopped behind that shield.

Yan Xiaoyu stared blankly for a while, but finally gritted his teeth and left without looking back.

Behind him, facing the unyielding hymn before death, human beings wantonly shouted out the roar of courage, and the voice was endless.
.
The sun shines through the gaps in the leaves in the woods, and spots of light fall on Yan Xiaoyu’s face, slightly illuminating his lifeless face.

His right hand was hanging limply by his side, seemingly unable to exert any strength at all, and the pistol that was held in the right hand was now held in the left.

After coming out of the cave, he found a random direction and rushed out.

After running for not long, the sticky and bulky feeling under his feet disappeared, and his originally dexterous body was full of vitality again.

But Yan Xiaoyu felt that his body was extremely heavy, like a salted fish that had been dehydrated before dying, without any purpose and vitality.

Then, a zero-level beast sprang out from the woods and knocked him to the ground in a daze.

Although he hit the beast in the vitals with his pistol in time and killed it, his right hand was still injured, and he could no longer use it.

The physical pain brought him back from the regret and grief of losing a teammate.

Yan Xiaoyu also understands that going on like this is not an option, he must bring the news back to the base, and by the way, fulfill the captain’s last wish.

Although he was in a panic when he came out, Yan Xiaoyu judged the direction of the base from the position of the sun, and trotted trying to get out of the forest.

He didn’t know what would happen in the future, but he knew very well now that the enmity and resentment of his dead teammates would be borne by him alone.

No matter what method he uses, he must avenge the captain, Rong Lin, and Shuzhen!

Yan Xiaoyu panted and trotted, he could already see a little warm light shining from ahead, especially in the dim woods.

He’s almost out of the woods!

But a figure that appeared suddenly made him stop.

The sunlight came in from outside the forest through the gap between the trees. The figure’s back was facing the incoming golden light, and the light in front of him was somewhat dim.

But Yan Xiaoyu could still see that he was wearing a closed metal helmet on his head, he was wearing a lot of damaged but still usable leather armor, and the shimmering sword blade in his hand was very powerful.

It’s like a dusty traveler walking into a dark forest with light and heat, and the sharp sword in his hand will wash countless ghosts with blood on the way by accident.
