Global Invasion: I Can Card BUG

Chapter 57 The Rout (3K)

Chapter 57 The Rout (3K)

The last note of the incantation was uttered by the Cloaked Goblin, and a hurricane rising from nowhere swept all the smoke, extinguished the flames ignited by the weeds, and blended the entire cave into darkness again.

The hurricane didn’t stop, and it knocked down all the goblins in the arena regardless of whether they were enemies or friends, and also disrupted the huddled four people’s formation, blowing them to the ground.

After falling to the ground, Yan Xiaoyu immediately stood up nimbly. With a short blade as a weapon, he possessed the best flexibility and dexterity in the team.

”Ah!” A sharp cry came, and Yan Xiaoyu suddenly turned around to look at the place where the sound came from.

I saw several goblins came out of that passage at some point, and attacked the female archer from behind, threw her longbow on the ground, dragged her into the passage, and pulled her body. armor.

Yan Xiaoyu’s pupils widened slightly, picked up the short blade and rushed over.

They overlooked a detail!
Since the goblin can lure them to the place where the captives are held, and then escape through the hole.

It also means that they can drill back from that small hole at any time, and sneak attack them from behind through the passage!
But under the current circumstances, this is almost a fatal mistake!
There was a flash of hatred and regret in Yan Xiaoyu’s eyes, all the members of their team ignored this detail!
Now I can only try my best to mend the past!

But Yan Xiaoyu didn’t take a few steps, and several goblins rushed over, blocking his steps.

The goblins who were running around in the cave at first stood in a daze for a while after the smoke cleared, and they were scattered everywhere.

The goblin standing next to Yan Xiaoyu quickly spotted the enemy in front of him, and rushed over with a strange scream.

Yan Xiaoyu brandished the dagger desperately, trying to quickly get rid of the goblin’s entanglement.

However, the inevitable limitations of the short blade make it difficult for him to get rid of the goblins around him.

The length of the short knife made him have to get close to the goblins to assassinate them, but now that the goblins have been strengthened, they are crazy and irrational, and the danger of close combat is greatly increased.

Yan Xiaoyu had to desperately dodge the goblin’s siege, finding the right opportunity to swing the dagger, and the attack that could be easily dodged before, it can be said to be dangerous to hide now.

On the contrary, the long sword warrior rushed over faster, and he reacted almost at the moment when the female archer screamed.

With the opening and closing of moves, and the two-handed long sword that is much longer than goblin weapons, the long sword warrior can easily get rid of the siege of goblins.

All the goblins who came to hinder him became unjust souls under his sword before they approached.

The longsword warrior easily took care of all the goblins in front of him, and then walked towards the passage at top speed.

However, the scene in front of him made him tear up.

The leather armor on the female archer was torn to pieces, making it almost impossible to cover her body. She had been cut several times by goblins, and blood flowed slowly.

On the weapons of those goblins, a few drops of gray-green venom could be clearly seen.

After the female archer uttered that scream, she was cut by the weapon, and the venom infected her body, causing her to be unable to make any more noises. .

”Bastard!” the longsword warrior roared angrily.

He swung his long sword recklessly in the passage, trying to tear the goblins who had stained his teammates to pieces.

The two-handed long sword forged by the blacksmith in the base is excellent in sharpness, and can easily cut through the enemy’s flesh.

But in terms of feel, it is not satisfactory, the center of gravity is a little unstable, and there is a feeling that it cannot be realized when slashing, but this may be an inevitable shortcoming of a rough-made long sword.

After all, the blacksmiths at the base were still newcomers, and had no experience in blacksmithing in the civilized world. They all learned blacksmithing knowledge from books.

It didn’t take long to learn these blacksmithing knowledge, and you can create these sharp enough weapons that can cut people and monsters, which is enough to praise your skills.

As for the small flaw that the long sword feels bad, it was also ignored by the long sword warrior.

The best feeling of wielding a long sword is the joy of cutting the enemy’s flesh with the blade, and the joy of cutting off the enemy’s limbs.

The small flaw of the long sword’s unstable center of gravity is nothing to the base that is in short supply of weapons.

The sword warrior thought so too.

However, after all, it was because he hadn’t experienced many battles. Fifteen days ago, he was just a sports nerd who stayed at home and watched novels and anime.

He didn’t lack blood, and he didn’t lack good physical fitness, so he was able to kill many monsters on the first day of the alien invasion, and finally became a member of the base’s going out team.

Therefore, he shouldn’t be in a small cave, wielding a two-handed long sword that is half the length of his height.

bang bang!

The sword collided with a ledge of rock at the top of the catwalk.

As a pure natural rock evolved with nature, its hardness is undoubtedly stronger than the metal blade of a long sword.

Out of anger and hatred, the blow of the longsword warrior exhausted all his strength.

But he didn’t expect that the moment the long sword swung down, it wasn’t the goblin’s thin body that was slashed, but an extremely hard and solid rock.

The violent collision caused the long sword to let go.

The longsword warrior stared blankly at his hands holding the air and slashing down, while the longsword that he should have held in his hand turned and fell down.

Naturally, the air can’t hurt people. This attack couldn’t kill the goblin by the sword, but sent himself in front of the goblin.

The goblin’s ugly face was grinning ferociously, disgusting saliva splashed from his closed mouth, and he held a sharpened wooden awl in both hands, stabbing into the longsword warrior’s calf.

The wooden cone is just a weapon made from an ordinary branch after being sharpened, and it can’t even be called a weapon in the eyes of the longsword warrior.

Only goblins who don’t dislike anything and can use anything that can cause damage to attack the enemy will use this wooden cone as a weapon.

However, this wooden awl completely became the root cause of the death of the longsword warrior, just like the first stroke of the word ”death” written with a pen.

The longsword warrior was in pain, his expression was distorted and he clenched his fists ferociously, and sent the goblin flying.

Then the goblins who were driven over took all kinds of weapons and stabbed and chopped him mercilessly
The shrill screams echoed in the passage again, and Yan Xiaoyu, who was entangled with the goblins outside, couldn’t help being stunned.

”Zhou Ronglin!!”

Grief and resentment were written all over his face, and what flashed through his mind were countless times of quarreling with himself.

Pain and grief quickly overwhelmed his mind, and he slashed the dagger in his hand frantically, forcing the surrounding goblins back.

However, at this moment, the goblins around him seemed to have seen something terrifying, and quickly moved away from him in an instant.

A trace of doubt flashed across Yan Xiaoyu’s face, slightly puzzled.

Are these goblins scared away by my angry look?
”Be careful!” The captain’s voice roared over.

A gust of wind came from behind, accompanied by the low roar of the goblin vanguard, Yan Xiaoyu was terrified, and immediately rushed forward, smashing the stick from top to bottom into the empty space.

Yan Xiaoyu got up immediately, and bumped into an ugly goblin face.

With a swing of his knife, the blade sliced into the goblin’s head and stuck on the goblin’s hard skull.

Yan Xiaoyu wanted to draw the knife out of the way, but felt his hand slip, and the palm holding the knife handle was covered with sticky and silky blood.

The goblin’s blood kept gushing out, staining the handle of the knife, making the handle wet and slippery, and he couldn’t pull out the dagger for a while.

Behind him was the unrivaled goblin vanguard, so Yan Xiaoyu could only abandon the dagger and dodge immediately.

The goblin vanguard’s club smashed again, smashing the goblin’s corpse with a dagger on its head into a bloody pulp.

”Follow me!” The heavy knight captain roared angrily, held up a diamond-shaped shield, knocked several goblins into the air, and rushed in front of Yan Xiaoyu.

The armor on him was too bulky, and it was difficult to get up after being blown down by the cloaked goblin’s spell.

In the end, he had to abandon the almost cumbersome shield, rolled on the ground a few times, supported himself with both hands, and hacked down several goblins surrounding him with an iron ax before continuing to move.

However, the heavy knight captain did not expect that after he returned to pick up the thrown shield, the situation on the battlefield had changed so quickly.

”Liu Shuzhen was arrested, Rong Lin also followed, we have to save them!” Yan Xiaoyu shouted.

The heavy knight captain took his hand, his expression was painful but resolute:

”If you don’t leave, none of them will be able to escape!”

He ignored Yan Xiaoyu’s wishes, and directly grabbed Yan Xiaoyu’s hand, held up the shield on the other side and knocked the goblin into the air, and rushed to the original exit with the help of the faint light in the cave.

Seeing that the two were about to escape, the cloaked goblin hiding in the dark uttered a spell again, and the obscure and annoying spell echoed in the cave.

”I’m Gan Nima, I miss your brother-in-law!”

Yan Xiaoyu cursed directly, took out a police pistol from the pistol bag on his waist, and fired a few bullets in the direction where the spell was uttered without aiming.

The gunshots overwhelmed the chanting of spells, and the goblins present were shocked.

However, the power of the police pistol was really unsightly, and the bullets fired hit a few hapless goblins, only sparking a few flowers of blood.

The damage caused is not as strong as that of an arrow.

If it weren’t for the fact that he didn’t have a weapon in his hand, Yan Xiaoyu wouldn’t have taken out this police pistol, which was just a toy to monsters.

Unless it hits the head accurately, otherwise, for many monsters, the power of the pistol is not worth mentioning at all.

After all, the spell was finished, and when the two were about to walk into the entrance and exit passage, they both felt that the soles of their feet suddenly became sticky.

It’s like stepping on a dirty and muddy road. Even if you try your best to run, you will not be able to speed up if your feet are full of soft mud and stumbling.

The goblin vanguard who quickly chased after them was not affected by the ordinary goblins at all, and rushed over with strange screams and raised various weapons.
