Global Invasion: I Can Card BUG

Chapter 56 Decisive

Chapter 56 Decisive
The mysterious and ancient spell resounded untimely in the dark cave, and everyone and every goblin present could hear this obscure language.

This kind of spell is not like the sound that living things can make with the vocal cords of the throat. The sound is sometimes distant and sometimes dull, and the pitch is constantly changing.

This kind of sound is like the timbre recorded by a person with the equipment in a recording studio, or the trembling and weird tone made by a mobile phone.

If there is no corresponding equipment and equipment, no matter how hard a person works, it is impossible to make that weird sound.

Following the chanting of the spell, the heavy knight captain quickly noticed that the two goblin pioneers who were fighting him suddenly let out a strange growl.

The originally miserable green muscles and veins bulged out, sometimes appearing and sometimes disappearing, as if there were several thick worms crawling in the body, indicating that a very strong force was about to surge out from the body.

But even if such an abnormal thing happened, the two goblin vanguards still didn’t make the next move, they were just enduring with torment, as if they were waiting for the changes in their bodies to subside.

A look of cruelty flashed in the heavy knight captain’s eyes, and he knocked down one of the goblin pioneers with his shield.

Holding the iron ax in the other hand, he kept chopping at the neck, chest, head and other vital points of the Goblin Vanguard. Every ax brought up flesh and blood.

The reality is not magical girl anime, there will be no fools who let the enemy transform successfully in vain.

Faced with the mutation of the Goblin Vanguard, the heavy knight captain naturally would not waste this opportunity.

Taking advantage of his illness to kill him is the wisdom of survival that has been handed down from ancient ancestors to this day.

After being continuously hit by the iron axe, even if the goblin vanguard is still in the stage of gradually strengthening the transformation, the fate of death is inevitable.

The iron ax cut through his skull, and the bone fragments flew, and the sharp ax blade cut through his brain nerves like butter, killing him quickly.

After hacking to confirm that the goblin vanguard under his feet was out of breath, the captain of the heavy knight immediately turned his shield and pointed it at the other one.

However, during the time he was beating the drowning goblin, another goblin vanguard had already successfully transformed, and the miserable green skin on its body was stained with crimson stripes.

The goblin vanguard raised a thick club and smashed it. The heavy knight captain didn’t dodge in a hurry, and quickly raised his shield to block the blow.

The dull smashing sound was deafening, and the thick metal shield seemed to have been hit by a heavy hammer, and the outer surface appeared dented marks.

And the goblin vanguard, who couldn’t shake the heavy knight with a life-and-death attack before, actually drove the heavy knight captain back several steps under this attack.

The heavy knight captain’s face suddenly turned ugly. The blow with the stick just now felt like being hit by a siege ram. At this time, the arm holding the shield ached a little.

Since the invasion of another world, he has also experienced many battles. Even a Tier [-] beast with the advantage of brute force cannot knock him back with a single blow.

The thick armor and the solid diamond-shaped metal shield gave him almost invincible defense at the same level, but correspondingly sacrificed his due agility and speed.

This kind of fighting method is extremely extreme. The absolute defense makes the heavy knight captain fearless of all incoming attacks, and few enemies can break through his defense.

However, once an enemy breaks through his defense, the armor and shield he was originally proud of will become a drag, and the heavy equipment makes him unable to dodge the enemy’s attack at all.

The captain of the heavy knight quickly looked around, and his mood suddenly sank to the bottom.

After the cloaked goblin just finished chanting the spell, it wasn’t just the two goblin pioneers in front of him that changed, but almost all the goblins in the cave changed.

The skinny goblin, who could have been easily killed, now seemed to have been injected with chicken blood, forcing his two teammates back again and again.

The female archer’s arrows hit the goblins, but they didn’t react at all. They seemed to feel no pain. They ignored the arrow wounds on their bodies and rushed to attack Yan Xiaoyu and the sword warrior.

Although Yan Xiaoyu and the long sword warrior were still protecting the female archer, their circle of protection was gradually shrinking in the face of the group of goblins who had gone mad and become stronger.

If this continues, he will surely die!

The heavy knight captain was thinking about countermeasures in his mind, but was quickly brought back to reality by the attack of the goblin vanguard.

Under the hot pursuit of the goblin vanguard, even if he wanted to get away and capture the cloaked goblin, he was powerless.

The strengthened goblin vanguard slammed on the shield with a stick almost one meter long, and the roar of metal sounded rhythmically, like several gongs and drums being beaten at the same time, which was astonishing and disgusting.

”Yan Xiaoyu! Throw smoke bombs and drink potions!” The captain of the heavy knight roared angrily, barely holding on under repeated blows from the goblin vanguard.

Yan Xiaoyu desperately resisted the goblin’s attack with a short blade. After hearing the captain’s order, he immediately took out a black cylindrical object from his belt and threw it in the direction of the captain.

As if feeling that one cylinder was not enough, Yan Xiaoyu took out a few more cylinders and threw them out, falling to various places inside the cave.

Not long after the cylinder hit the ground, it emitted intense thick smoke, a bit thicker than the poisonous smoke from the weed fire, and quickly permeated the cave, making all the goblins almost blind.

The smoke gave everyone a chance to breathe. With the cover of the smoke, the heavy knight captain directly threw off the goblin vanguard, scanning the cave, trying to find the culprit, the cloaked goblin.

However, the smoke bombs not only helped them cover the enemy’s eyes, but also helped the cloaked goblins cover their tracks. The heavy knight captain failed to find his target.

As a last resort, he could only rush towards the place where his teammates were.

The hard shield was like a ramming horn, and all the goblins surrounding the road were knocked into the air.

After Yan Xiaoyu took out the smoke bomb, he immediately took out the gray-green stamina potion in his pocket and handed it to his teammates.

After the heavy knight captain arrived, Yan Xiaoyu also gave him a bottle.

The stamina potion is specially prepared by the pharmacist at the base. Although the effect is not as good as that in the game store, it still has the effect it should have.

It’s just a pity that the pharmacist in the base is only level [-] and cannot prepare medicines above level [-] at all.

Among the zero-order potions, only this stamina potion can barely be used.

Therefore, among the potions they brought over, there was no buff type potion that could make them burst out with extreme strength.

After taking the stamina potion, the originally tired body suddenly burst into a little vitality, just like a thirsty person in the desert getting a piece of clear water.

After seeing his teammates gather, the heavy knight captain immediately ordered: ”With that cloaked goblin around, we have no chance of winning, we must escape from here immediately.”

The other three teammates all nodded solemnly. Of course, they understood that the situation at this time was not good.

”We’ll rush out after the smoke clears.” The heavy knight captain looked around and said.

At this time, the cave was filled with smoke, and they couldn’t find the original exit direction at all.

The strange incantation came again, and the ups and downs of the voice were like a low hum from the abyss, which chilled the hearts of the four of them.

The spell just now made them miserable, and all the goblins have been greatly strengthened. If it happens again now, it will be a question of whether they can escape.

But under the smog, they couldn’t find the cloaked goblin at all.

”Captain, what should we do?” the female archer said worriedly. She was still at the entrance of the passage, surrounded by the other three people.

”According to circumstances.” The heavy knight captain’s eyes flashed with determination.
