Global Invasion: I Can Card BUG

Chapter 55

Chapter 55
The speed of the smoke was very fast, as if there was an inexplicable force behind it blowing it, and it came in front of the four people in a short while.

”Everyone, step back immediately!” The heavy knight captain shouted from the front.

Although they couldn’t recognize where the smoke was coming from, it was obviously not a good thing, so they wouldn’t be stupid enough to smell it and feel what it smelled like.

”Captain, what should we do?” The soldier holding the long sword was in the second position of the team and asked softly in the captain’s ear.

”Stand back first, and then think of a way.” The heavy knight captain said.

They quickly returned to the cave, and everyone’s faces were full of unresolved melancholy.

They knew very well that the four of them fell into the trap of the goblins, and fell into the trap of the little devil they despised.

Yan Xiaoyu couldn’t help cursing: ”Damn, when did these goblins get so smart, they actually tempted us to come here!”

Of course he was aware, and even the rest of the team were aware, that the goblins had clearly lured them here on purpose.

Then they drilled out of the small hole that had already been drilled, and they, who were bigger and could not shrink their bones, of course couldn’t get into that small hole, so they could only go out through the original passage.

But now the passage is filled with strange and inexplicable smoke, and the only exit is blocked, and they are trapped here like this!

The long sword warrior looked at the prisoners who had been moved to a shady place, and said with a wry smile: ”Not only that, but those women are probably part of their conspiracy. They want us to bring them along and become our burden.”

Yan Xiaoyu suddenly realized that if the captain hadn’t told him, he might have taken one or two prisoners with him to rescue them.

But the enemy has not been eliminated, but still has a few burdens on him, so the final result is naturally self-evident.

Time was running out, the smoke gradually spread into the cave, and everyone slowly moved away from the channel from which the smoke gushed out.

”Captain, what should we do now?” the female archer asked.

The captain of the heavy knight looked around and found that there was no place to get out of trouble. He asked with a serious face, ”Are you wearing masks or face shields?”

All three shook their heads and answered no.

”Yan Xiaoyu, you should bring the medical supplies. Take out the bandage.” The heavy knight captain ordered, ”Then, take out the water bottle and cover your nose and mouth with a wet bandage.”

Yan Xiaoyu immediately followed suit, took out a roll of bandages from his pocket, moistened it all with a water bottle, and distributed it to his teammates.

The four of them covered their mouths and noses with wet bandages, gripped their weapons tightly again, and were ready to rush out at any time.

”What to do with those women?” Yan Xiaoyu said suddenly.

The heavy knight captain glanced at him, pointed to the gap on the top of his head, and reminded: ”We can only keep them here now, there is just a gap above here, and the smoke should not spread to them.”

”But we are different, staying here is more dangerous!”

Yan Xiaoyu cast his eyes on the hole at the top of the cave, the sun’s rays came from above, and the smoke in the passage was blown to the gap by the air pressure and discharged to the outside.

”Let’s go.” The heavy knight captain raised his diamond-shaped shield and continued to lead without hesitation.

The smoke is like ghosts gathering together to emit a whisper of death, and the ghost mist exhaled will be the death sign.

But human beings who are on the verge of desperation will not be afraid of any danger, and will only burst out with courage and determination to fight to the death.

Even with wet bandages covering their mouths and noses, everyone still felt a trace of smoke pouring into their lung cavities, and a hot burning sensation lingered in their throats and lungs, making them very uncomfortable.

But the physical fitness of the four people is not comparable to that of ordinary people. Regarding the harmful poisonous smoke, they only coughed a few times and quickly rushed out of the passage.

The first thing that appeared in front of the captain was a violently burning flame. The unknown emerald green withered grass was used as fuel underneath, emitting wisps of white smoke in the flame.

Under the action of an unknown force, there was a breeze flowing inside the cave, blowing smoke and drifting into the passage.

The light of the flames illuminated the surroundings, and at some point, a dozen or so goblins filled the small exit, with turbid fluid flowing from their mouths, looking at the four people rushing out in shock.

And behind the dozen or so goblins was a goblin wearing a hideous wooden mask, wearing a cloak and leaf robe, and holding a wooden staff in his hand.

The moment the captain of the heavy knight rushed out, the strange goblin was also stunned for a while, holding the wooden staff in its hand and stopping in mid-air without moving.

There were two Goblin Heralds standing around him, and the three-meter-high figures surrounded him like a solid wall of flesh.

Obviously, as long as you are not blind, you can tell that this strange goblin is the leader of this group of goblins.

As soon as the heavy knight captain came out, he chose this strange goblin as his target. With a diamond shield in front of him, he ran like a bull, and the goblins along the way were bounced off one after another.

With a height of 1.8 meters, steel armor all over the body, and a shield that can be used as a door in his hand, the heavy knight captain is hard and thick. When he crashes into the goblin group, it is like a dragon entering the sea. A goblin that was knocked flying.

The last thing blocking the heavy knight captain’s charge was the goblin vanguard guarding a cloaked goblin.

With a height of more than three meters, he was obviously more powerful than the 1.8-meter heavy knight captain.

His thick palm rested on the diamond-shaped shield of the heavy knight, and he moved back a few steps after being hit by the huge impact, and stepped on the ground half a meter with his fleshy feet.

The heavy knight captain shook his arm, bounced the goblin vanguard away, then removed the shield, swung the iron ax in his hand, and slashed at the goblin vanguard’s thigh, bleeding.

The goblin vanguard was in pain, howled and rushed over again.

The heavy knight captain was not afraid, and continued to push up with the diamond-shaped shield, and bounced the goblin vanguard away.

Another goblin vanguard also attacked him, a thick wooden club smashed through the wind, and was easily blocked by the shield.

The heavy shield and the armor on his body made the heavy knight captain’s own weight reach an astonishing level.

He is like a rock rooted in the ground, and no attack from the Goblin Herald can shake him at all.

Instead, he could bump into the Goblin Vanguard at will, causing the Goblin Vanguard’s body to become unstable, and then get several ax wounds from him.

He alone can fight against two Goblin Heralds without losing the wind.

And the rest of the team wasn’t slacking off either. The warrior swung his two-handed sword and slashed and killed the skinny goblin wantonly.

Yan Xiaoyu wandered nimbly among the goblins, the short blade in his hand kept harvesting the goblins’ lives, and accurately slashed the goblins’ necks, the blood sprayed wet his palms and the hilt of the knife .

The female archer, on the other hand, hid at the entrance of the passage, bent her bow and shot arrows, and each arrow wounded the goblin.

Although it can’t hit the vital points with arrows, it can also relieve the pressure of teammates, save the field for teammates, shoot those goblins who are trying to sneak attack one by one, and even shoot a few arrows to help heavy knights.

The situation seemed to be getting better. Although there were still goblins coming here to encircle and suppress the four of them, everyone was still able to cope.

Until the cloaked goblin screamed strangely, chanting strange spells in his mouth.
