Chapter 1947: Fishing for a Foreigner

Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation

Lin Yi didn’t move. He stood on the spot with a faint smile on his face. “Do you think you have the ability?”

“It might be difficult to deal with others, but it’s not a problem to deal with you.”

“F*ck off!”

The sailor cursed in Shianggangnese and didn’t say anything else. He raised the stun rod in his hand and stabbed at Lin Yi.

Whack!

Lin Yi casually reached out and grabbed the man’s neck.

He then lifted him into the air!

The sailor’s face turned red, and the rod in his hand fell to the ground. He grabbed Lin Yi’s arm with both hands and kept kicking his legs, trying to break free from the restraints, but in the end, he realized that it was useless.

It was also at this moment that he realized that he had provoked someone he shouldn’t have.

This man was more powerful than he had imagined. He was not someone he could deal with.

“Continental pig, quickly put me down!”

Even now, the sailor didn’t relinquish his pride and continued cursing at Lin Yi.

He still believed that because he was from Shianggang, he had to be superior to others!

They were country bumpkins from the mainland. They were not worthy of being compared to him!

“You don’t think I dare to kill you?”

Lin Yi took out a scalpel from his lower back and pressed it against the sailor’s artery.

“Trust me, if I move just a little, you’re going to meet God.”

Feeling the cold metal from the scalpel, the sailor was dumbfounded.

He was even afraid.

He had only been a sailor for more than a year. The moment the other party took out his dagger, he felt the murderous aura.

“What the hell are you doing?!”

“I was planning to leave, but since I met you, I wanted to ask you a few questions.” Lin Yi said lightly.

“If you answer well, I can consider letting you go.”

“What, what do you want to ask?”

“You’re here early in the morning for inspection. What do you do?”

“I’m in charge of patrolling the deck.”

Lin Yi raised his chin. “When did this helicopter land?” Lin Yi asked.

“Around ten o’clock last night.” The sailor didn’t dare to hide anything and told him everything he knew.

Hearing this answer, Lin Yi was even more certain that the other party must have flown this helicopter over.

Now, the situation was much clearer.

“Are you done with your questions? Are you going to let me go?” the sailor asked.

“Don’t worry, I’ll let you go, but not here.”

“You, what do you mean?”

Lin Yi dragged the sailor’s body to the edge of the railing. “I’ll throw you down here and feed you to the fishes.”

“Y-You already promised me that you wouldn’t do anything!”

“I have no problem killing. What made you think that I’m a good person? Would I keep my word?”

Lin Yi let go and threw the sailor into the sea.

Then, Lin Yi returned to the helicopter and took out Qiu Yuluo’s phone. After activating airplane mode, he hid it in an extremely secluded place and left.

Lin Yi then went to the canteen.

The occupancy rate exceeded 60%, which was quite substantial for a cruise.

Many people preferred to pay extra for the staff to deliver breakfast to their rooms.

Besides, not many were willing to wake up early for breakfast.

This indicated that the quality of passengers on this voyage wasn’t particularly high, with most being middle class.

The breakfast on the ship was plentiful, mainly featuring Shianggang cuisine, which was understandable since that was where the Victoria had departed from, and most of the passengers were from there.

Lin Yi ordered a Shianggang-style set meal and then found a quiet corner to observe his surroundings.

While most of the passengers were Terran, there were a few foreigners mingling in the crowd.

However, these people appeared quite ordinary, with nothing about them suggesting they were involved in the kidnapping of Ji Qingyan.

But this was unimportant to Lin Yi; he had other targets in his plan.

After ordering his meal, Lin Yi ate quietly, behaving like any other tourist.

Occasionally, he would wave at the air as if greeting someone he knew.

To the people on the ship, Lin Yi was just another passenger, not someone who had snuck aboard.

In fact, several girls even approached him to chat, to which Lin Yi responded pleasantly while secretly searching for his target.

After a few minutes of observation, Lin Yi found his target.

About ten meters away, there was a middle-aged woman in a red dress, around her thirties, eating her breakfast elegantly while browsing entertainment news on her phone.

To her right was a laptop.

Although she was a fair-skinned foreigner, carrying a laptop on a leisure trip gave her the appearance of a workaholic, like someone adhering to a demanding work schedule.

Having identified his target, Lin Yi no longer felt like eating. He wiped his mouth and walked towards the woman in the red dress.

“Hey, Lisa.”

Lin Yi covered the woman’s eyes from behind, his words filled with surprise.

The people in the restaurant didn’t pay too much attention to this detail. They felt that it was a greeting from an acquaintance who was just trying to surprise the other party.

The woman in the red dress panicked when she was suddenly blinded. She even pulled Lin Yi’s hand away angrily.

“You…”

Seeing Lin Yi, the woman’s anger disappeared in an instant.

A woman had a far higher tolerance toward a handsome men than an ugly man.

“I’m sorry, I mistook you for someone else,” Lin Yi apologized.

“It’s okay. I think it’s a beautiful misunderstanding.” The woman in the red dress smiled brightly. She was not angry. Instead, she was happy. “If you haven’t eaten breakfast, I think we can go together.”

The woman’s enthusiasm surprised Lin Yi.

He originally wanted to strike up a conversation and think of a way to take further action, but he did not expect the other party to be so proactive.

It was so easy to pick up a foreigner!

“It’s true that I haven’t eaten, but it’s too noisy here. I want to go somewhere quiet and enjoy breakfast.”

The woman’s face revealed a hint of surprise.

“If you don’t mind, we can go to my room and have a private breakfast.”

“That sounds fine.” Lin Yi smiled.

“It’s an honor to have breakfast with an elegant lady like you.”

With that, Lin Yi called the waiter over and ordered two high-end Shianggang-style breakfasts. He asked them to be sent to the red-dressed woman’s room.

“Let me get my computer,” the woman in the red dress said as she got up.

“It’s not gentlemanly to let a lady carry a heavy object.”

The woman in the red dress was overjoyed. She even took the initiative to hold Lin Yi’s arm. Her towering chest was already pressed against it as she looked at Lin Yi.

“As a Terran, your gentlemanliness makes me feel dizzy.”

“Thanks for the affirmation.”
