Chapter 1945: Rescue Operation Begins

“Hehe… So what if she contacts them? The advantage is in our hands. It’s useless no matter what she does,” Chen Canrong said.

“What an old-fashioned group of people. If this continues, the Central Guards Brigade’s international status will be surpassed in the future.”

“Actually, I don’t think much of them now. It’s just that the president thinks too highly of them,” Harris said.

“We don’t have the right to judge the president. Our current mission is to keep an eye on that woman. Before we leave, we have to ensure her absolute safety.”

Both sides had pretty much laid their cards on the table, so Chen Canrong didn’t care anymore.

If the Central Guards Brigade dared to use forceful methods, they would get rid of that woman named Ji Qingyan.

There was still a private helicopter on the ship, so he had enough time to leave.

“Are we just waiting here for news?” Harris said.

“I can’t wait to compete with the people from the Central Guard Brigade.”

“Now, we are in the initiative, we just need to wait slowly, the Central Guard Brigade is more anxious than us, and will contact us.”

Harris shrugged, “If they don’t come, this will be a boring journey.”

…

At the same time, Qiu Yuluo had already arrived on the speedboat.

She took the binoculars and looked up. He realized that there were still a few people on the deck. It seemed that they would not leave until she left.

This was all within Qiu Yuluo’s expectations.

In order not to arouse the other party’s suspicion, Qiu Yuluo secretly reached into her pocket and inadvertently threw her phone into the sea before returning to her speedboat.

She said in a low voice,

“The clues are in the recording software.”

At the same time, Lin Yi, who had been hiding underwater, heard Qiu Yuluo’s words, but in his current situation, he couldn’t give much of a response.

He immediately rushed towards the phone that had fallen and swam forward a distance before grabbing the phone in his hand.

The phones used by the Central Guards Brigade members appeared to be flagship phones of various brands.

However, after buying it, it would be modified and upgraded by the professional IT department.

Waterproofing was one of the most basic functions of these phones.

It could easily soak in the seawater for a short period.

It was also at this moment that the cruise ship started up again and continued to sail in the direction of Sunrise Land.

Lin Yi held Qiu Yulu’s phone in his mouth and used the electromagnetic climbing device to pull his body tightly to the ship.

More than an hour had passed since he entered the water.

During this period, Lin Yi had been hiding underwater.

Even though the diving suit was of good quality, the bone-chilling seawater still made him feel cold.

The high-intensity currents of the seawater were also a huge test of his stamina.

Perhaps only Lin Yi could maintain his posture in the face of such unrelenting force. Even Qiu Yuluo and Ning Che might not have endured it.

The situation on the ship was critical, and Lin Yi wasn’t at his peak.

To him, this was a huge test…

After a simple adjustment, Lin Yi held the phone in his mouth and used the electromagnetic climbing equipment to fix himself to the ship.

Then, he looked up. After confirming that there was no danger, he freed his hand and turned on the recording software on his phone.

The sea breeze that blew past affected the recording audio. Lin Yi listened attentively to every word.

“The location of our negotiation is room 1406 of the cruise ship. It’s on the top floor.

“President Ji is not threatened and is in good condition. However, the cruise ship Victoria will arrive at Sunrise Land at 3:28 p.m. tomorrow. If we can’t save President Ji before then, the other party might take action.

“According to my observations, it’s very likely that the other party has reserved the entire fourteenth floor of the cruise ship. The rooms that I’ve pinpointed are 1406, 1408. President Ji is likely in Room 1408. The other suspicious rooms are 1407, 1409, 1410, and 1411.

“The security on the ship is not tight. You should be able to sneak onto the ship.

“The person who planned this is a Terran. We communicated via video call. The person in charge here is about 50 years old. He’s wearing a mask and has a mole at the corner of his eye as well as three forehead wrinkles. He speaks Huaxian, but he has a slight Shianggang accent.

“The guards on the ship are very strong. It’s very likely that they have reached C-class.”

Qiu Yuluo spoke very quickly. Coupled with the sea breeze blowing past, her voice was a little disrupted. Lin Yi listened twice before extracting the important information.

Every word could be of great help to him.

After listening to the recording, Lin Yi threw Qiu Yuluo’s phone into the sea and continued to climb up carefully.

About half an hour later, Lin Yi gritted his teeth and climbed onto the deck. He took off his diving suit and electromagnetic climbing equipment and threw them into the sea.

Then, he found a corner and hid himself, getting some breathing room.

Lin Yi panted heavily. Under the barrage of the high-intensity seawater, he didn’t have much stamina left. Coupled with the dozens of kilograms of equipment, he had clung on for more than half an hour. Even Lin Yi couldn’t endure this.

After the successful intrusion, Lin Yi didn’t act immediately. He went through the clues provided by Qiu Yuluo again.

Ji Qingyan was safe for the time being. There was no need for him to rush, but he still had to make the best use of his time.

Secondly, the level of the other party’s guards might be higher than his. They might even have firearms. This was a dangerous sign.

Due to this, this operation could not be rushed. He had to be smart to solve the problem.

After a long time, Lin Yi looked at his watch. It was already past four in the morning.

In the distant sky, a large patch of bright white appeared. A new day had arrived.

Lin Yi opened the map and calculated the current route and speed.

In about four hours, the cruise ship Victoria would sail into the waters of Sunrise Land.

This was an opportunity for him.

At this thought, Lin Yi called Caie Mitsui.

No one picked up the first time, but just as Lin Yi was about to call again, Caie Mitsui called.

“Mr. Lin, it’s been a long time since you called me.” Caie Mitsui said,

“Why are you calling so early? Is something the matter?”

“I need you to do something for me. As soon as possible. Arrange it immediately.”

“Alright, go ahead.”

“In about four hours, the cruise ship Victoria will sail from Shianggang into the waters of Sunrise Land. I hope you can help me contact the coast guard of Sunrise Land and board the ship due to suspicions of contraband. Can you do that?”
