After complaining about Li Chuhan’s “crimes”, Li Jianbiao hung up.

“Just you wait. Director Miao was downstairs when the call was made. He’ll be coming up soon. Let’s see if you still dare to leave.”

“Why wouldn’t 1 dare?”

Li Chuhan pressed the elevator button, completely ignoring Li Jianbiao’s threat.

Her personality was similar to Lin Yi’s. They were both the type who could be persuaded but not coerced.

If you want to fight me, 1’11 fight you to the end.

Seeing the conflict between the two sides, neither the nurse nor Qiao Xin said anything.

Even so, the man continued gloating.

If Director Li was the only one here, Director Miao might have spoken up for Li Jianbiao. After all, his connections were not ordinary.

However, Director Lin actually dared to bully Director Li here. He was looking for trouble.

However, the person called Li Jianbiao didn’t know about this.

“Director Li, 1 respect your medical skills, but your actions are really inappropriate.” Li Jianbiao said.

“If you’re willing to stay and have a good chat with me now and operate on my father, I won’t pursue this matter. Otherwise, it will affect your future career. Of course, this is unless you don’t want to work in Zhonghai anymore.”

“I said I won’t do it, so 1 won’t. It’s useless no matter what you say to me. No matter what, I won’t do this.”

“Alright, Director Miao will be here soon. 1 hope you can stay so unyielding when he comes.”

Soon, the elevator door opened and Miao Guofeng came out.

However, the moment he saw Lin Yi, he felt terrible.

Why was Director Lin still here?

“Director Lin, you’re here.”

Miao Guofeng greeted Lin Yi with a smile.

“I’m just here for a walk,” Lin Yi said calmly.

“Director Miao, is he also a director of your hospital?” Li Jianbiao asked.

“He used to be the director of the cardiology department. He was a golden pair with Director Li. Now, he has resigned.”

“I see. Then there’s no need for him,” Li Jianbiao said.

“I talked to Director Li just now. She’s unwilling to operate on my father no matter what. Director Miao, please handle this matter.

Miao Guofeng broke out in cold sweat.

Lin Yi was already here. How should he deal with this?

Although he was the head, he didn’t have the ability to interfere in Li Chuhan’s matters!

Just as Qiao Xin had expected, if Li Chuhan was the only one here, Miao Guofeng might have tried to persuade her.

But with Lin Yi here, this all changed.

Who would dare?

“I know a little about the cardiology department. Little Qiao is very skilled. She can be considered Director Li’s personal disciple. She will do just fine. Let her operate on your father.”

Li Jianbiao’s cousin was the head of the city’s medical industry. Miao Guofeng couldn’t afford to offend him, so he could only put in a good word for both sides. He didn’t want to offend anyone.

“Huh?”

Li Jianbiao furrowed his brows. “Director Miao, what do you mean by this? You actually want an inexperienced young doctor to operate on my father?”

“Little Qiao may be young, but she’s not inexperienced. Don’t worry about that,” Miao Guofeng said.

“We are basing this on the hospital’s rules. Chief Physician Li really doesn’t need to perform surgeries of this level. Moreover, she’s on leave today. As the hospital director, 1 can’t force her.”

Although he couldn’t afford to offend either side, after weighing the pros and cons, he still sided with Lin Yi.

Because he really couldn’t afford to offend the latter at all!

“What kind of talk is this? Just because the doctors are on holiday, does that mean you won’t help someone in need?”

Li Jianbiao was furious. He did not expect Miao Guofeng to be such a two-faced person!

They had agreed just now, but now he had changed his mind!

How could he embarrass him like this?

“It’s just that the cardiac stent surgery is indeed not that difficult. There’s no need for a doctor of Director Li’s level to do it.”

“Fine! That’s what you said!” Li Jianbiao was so angry that he spun on the spot and said.

“Director Miao, let me tell you. My father is my cousin’s uncle. She even told me she would come over to see my father tonight. If she asks about this, I hope you can explain!”

Miao Guofeng froze for a moment, torn between two options, like Zhu Bajie looking in the mirror, neither inside nor out.

“Then don’t do surgery here.”

Lin Yi, who had been silent, said,

“Arrange for them to be transferred to another hospital. There are so many patients in the cardiology department. They don’t have time to serve these things.”

Qiao Xin and the nurses’ eyes lit up, and they pricked up their ears and stared.

Brother Lin was furious. There was going to be a good show to watch!

Miao Guofeng shrunk his neck and felt that things were developing in a bad direction.

Everyone was gloating at Lin Yi’s misfortune. It was natural for Lin Yi to be angry after this man tried bullying Li Chuhan. They were all waiting to watch a good show.

Only Li Jianbiao was stunned.

He did not expect this director who had resigned to dare to speak to him like this!

“Who do you think you are? You’ve already resigned, yet you still dare to point fingers in the hospital’s matters. Get lost!”

Whoosh!

Lin Yi raised his leg and kicked Li Jianbiao.

The latter was caught off guard and immediately fell to the ground!

“You actually hit me? Is there no law?!”

“I’m the law. Pack your things and get lost!”

“Director Lin, calm down. There’s no need to be angry over such a small matter.”

Lin Yi didn’t say anything as he pulled Li Chuhan’s hand into the elevator.

Although Lin Yi had left, the cardiology department ward did not quiet down after this.

Hearing Li Jianbiao’s scream, a middle-aged woman walked out of the ward.

Her name was Zhou Liying, and she was Li Jianbiao’s wife.

“Old Li!”

Seeing Li Jianbiao lying on the ground with his hands on his stomach, Zhou Liying hurriedly rushed over.

“What exactly happened? Why is he lying on the ground?”

“Don’t worry about this. 1’11 handle it myself!”

Li Jianbiao was so angry that his face and neck turned red.

Qiao Xin couldn’t help but snicker.

Who do you think you are? You actually want to deal with Brother Lin!

Bah!

“Dean Miao, 1 hope you can give me an explanation! Otherwise, bear the consequences!”

Miao Guofeng shook his head and sighed.

“Mr. Li, 1 can’t say much about this. Your father only moved here yesterday, so 1’11 waive the fees for you. Contact another hospital and have him trasnferred.” Li Jianbiao was stunned. “What did you say? You really want to transfer him to another hospital?!”

“It’s not me. It was Director Lin. I couldn’t do anything about it.”

“Are you crazy? Do you know who my sister is?!”

Not only Li Jianbiao, but Zhou Liying also felt that this was a little ridiculous!

Everything was fine, but he actually asked them to transfer their father to another hospital!

What kind of hospital is this?

“If you have any objections, you can call your sister. I’ll talk to her about it.”

“That’s what you said. I’ll see how you handle this!” Li Jianbiao held his phone and said.

“I don’t think you can stay the head for much longer!”

Soon, the call was connected. Li Jianbiao turned on the public speaker.

“Sister, something happened.. Miao Guofeng wants me to transfer to another hospital!”
