Global Cataclysm: Starting with a 1000-acre survival base

Chapter 38 The Lucky Li Ang

The only researcher was a maroon pony, just as high as Su Yuan’s waist. It ran up to Su Yuan excitedly and shouted.

”Hey, master, I am R&D No. [-]!”

Su Yuan stroked the hair on the pony’s back happily, and an interesting name popped up in his mind.

”I’ll call you Mosaic, how long will it take you to develop the soil of high-quality land?”

”Hey, the master needs about 15 to 20 days!” Mosaic called out.

Although the research and development time is not very long, Su Yuan can accept it, but he wants to taste the taste of high-quality grain as soon as possible.

So, Su Yuan asked the mosaic to charge the battery, and took the time to study it. He used the remaining 50 billion to upgrade 5 acres of land to high-quality land.

Another 5000 million survival points were spent to buy high-quality seeds, so that Erhuang could first plant 2 acres of high-quality potatoes and 3 acres of high-quality corn.

The growth rate of high-quality grain is slower than that of ordinary grain. If you plant it this afternoon, you will not be able to harvest it until tomorrow afternoon.

In this way, the survival points in Su Yuan’s hand will be exhausted.

At around [-] o’clock in the evening, the second wave of meteorite rain came.

In Huadu and other three survival bases, 2500 missiles were prepared to fly into the sky, and collided with the meteorite before it entered the atmosphere.

Then there was a violent nuclear explosion, making the night seem like day.

Su Yuan sat on the sofa and watched this spectacular scene through the multifunctional satellite screen.

In the second wave of meteorite rain, the larger meteorites were destroyed, which gave everyone confidence.

Afterwards, while resisting the disaster, each survival base used the reserve materials in exchange for food to ensure that the vast majority of people would not starve to death.

There were also a lot of meteorite fragments that hit the titanium alloy plate, but they did not have any impact on the survival base.

The 3-meter-thick titanium alloy plate has a metal memory function, and even if it is smashed out of a small hole, it will recover slowly by itself.

In comparison, the place where Su Yuan is located is relatively safe, and there is not much meteorite impact.

The survival base in Hudu, where Jack was located, was even more unlucky. It was hit by two meteorites over 50 meters in succession, and one tenth of the survival base collapsed.

Meteorites can not only directly destroy the ground, but also cause chain reactions such as volcanic eruptions, underground magma spewing, and tsunamis.

Many private or corporate survival bases could not withstand this devastating disaster, so they simply gave up their survival bases and chose to flee to large survival bases like Huadu.

Li Ang and others fled all the way, not only to avoid the attack of strange beasts, but also to prevent being hit by meteorites.

Food or gasoline for armored vehicles ran out, so they had to stop to collect supplies and exchange them through virtual malls or shops.

But today was rather unlucky. I didn’t encounter any city ruins or ordinary beasts along the way.

Li Ang and the others ate more than ordinary people because of their body mutations, and now they were all so hungry that their chests stuck to their backs, making them very uncomfortable.

”Boss, we can’t go, we have to find food, otherwise we will starve to death!” said the big man with a beer belly.

Li Ang frowned, ”Zhang Lei, apart from stones, there is only mud around here, and not even a root of grass grows. Tell me, where can I get you food!”

”But boss, we are all starving!”

They followed Li Ang because they believed that Li Ang could lead them to live.

At this time, a meteorite with a diameter of more than 20 meters fell in front of the armored vehicle, more than 1000 meters away.

With a bang, the meteorite hit the ground, and the huge impact directly overturned their armored vehicle.

Li Ang and the others hurriedly crawled out.

”Master, this special lady is too unlucky!” Zhang Lei complained.

This is the third time this has happened.

The next few people turned the armored car over by relying on the powerful strength gained after the body mutation.

Li Ang looked at it from a distance, the meteorite that had not completely shattered was like a big red-hot iron block, his eyes lit up, isn’t this a material?
Li Ang and others drove an armored vehicle and slowly approached the meteorite.

They were lucky, and it was a piece of high-quality meteorite copper, ten times denser than ordinary copper.

This piece of meteoric copper weighs more than 120 million kilograms. According to the exchange price of high-quality materials, it is 5 to 1 on the land of Huadu, and 5 high-quality materials are exchanged for 1 ordinary grain.

Li Ang obtained 24 kilograms of grain after exchanging in the virtual mall.

Then he took out part of the food from the virtual mall, and exchanged part of the food for gasoline, and left most of the rest in the personal virtual warehouse of the virtual mall.

The personal virtual warehouse of the virtual mall is not for nothing. Only the exchanged materials can be stored. For long-term storage, you need to pay rent to the system.

And this time, Su Yuan obtained 50 times the income from the transaction.

Because the 24 kilograms of ordinary grain he exchanged out can only get 2400 million survival points after recycling.

After recovering more than 120 million kilograms of meteorite copper, Su Yuan can get 12 billion survival points.

If you switch to Midu and other survival bases, the exchange price of high-quality materials is 10 to 1, and 10 parts of high-quality materials are exchanged for 1 part of ordinary grain, and the income can reach 100 times.

Even so, there is no need to worry about sales, because every survival base lacks food.

Soon after, more and more people discovered that the high-quality metals contained in meteorites could be exchanged for food.

After the second wave of meteorite rain, the major survival bases also began to use unmanned machines to collect meteorite fragments in exchange for food.

When it was close to twelve o’clock in the evening, Su Yuan checked the income and found out.

From day to now, a total of 93 transactions have been made, with 185 million kilograms of grain traded, 1260 million kilograms of ordinary materials and 450 million kilograms of high-quality materials exchanged.

All the grain harvested during the day was exchanged, and now there are only 90 kilograms of grain harvested in the virtual mall, plus the 2 kilograms of grain left before.

Shop transactions were 113 million times, and the system rewarded 11.3 billion survival points.

After Su Yuan recovered all the materials and added rewards, he got 78.2 billion survival points.

The third wave of meteorite rain will not come until noon tomorrow. Although there will be sporadic meteorites falling during this period, they will not cause much harm to humans.

Give mankind a chance to breathe.

Although it was twelve o’clock in the evening, all the guards in the survival base were busy eating in turn. After eating, the guards had to continue to strengthen and repair the damaged survival base and treat the wounded.

Su Yuan was a little sleepy, and got into bed to sleep.

The next day, the global environment was harsh, and it was impossible to go out without wearing protective clothing.

Because of meteorite rain and nuclear explosions, the temperature is also rising.

Su Yuan can now use ordinary seeds to grow food.

After eating the breakfast prepared by Dabai, Su Yuan asked the multifunctional satellite to search for the nearby meteorite crash site.

Su Yuan usually doesn’t run too far, and only searches for places with a radius of 5 miles.

It’s almost there in a blink of an eye.

Soon the multifunctional satellite searched, and 117 meteorites and thousands of meteorite fragments fell nearby.

Su Yuan gave up on the meteorite fragments that were too small.

Then Su Yuan took control of the survival base and landed on the craters one by one, asking Niu Dali to wait for the robot to go down and carry the meteorites up.

Su Yuan just needs to wait for the recovery in the survival base.

In less than two hours, Su Yuan recovered more than 3230 million kilograms of high-quality metals and obtained 323 billion survival points.

Su Yuan finished his busy work, and came to the power layer again, wanting to take an extreme flight before the third wave of meteorite rain came.
