Global Cataclysm: Starting with a 1000-acre survival base

Chapter 37 Building a Laboratory (Addition)

In the afternoon, Su Yuan asked Erhuang to continue planting grain.

The instant noodles stood by and waited for the grain to mature before harvesting began.

Su Yuan knew that after the meteorite rain, the demand for food would rise again, and the various survival bases would try their best to store food.

Food is the hard currency of this era, so there is no need to worry about not being able to sell it.

Su Yuan was wearing an automatic auxiliary mecha, and looked at the entire survival base on the ground.

The 1200-acre living base presents a circular shape.

The intelligent survival cabin is 50 meters away from the wall of the fully automatic titanium alloy armor.

The ground floor is like an upside-down bowl, buckled on the ground, 5 meters high.

Behind the survival cabin on the ground floor is the speed land and the endurance land.

On the right side, 10 mu of vegetable fields have been specially reclaimed.

Whatever vegetables Dabai needed, he would tell Erhuang to plant them.

Su Yuan had prepared all kinds of vegetable seeds in advance and placed them in the automatic warehouse.

Su Yuan looked at the land while planning.

Of the 1200 mu of land, he still only plans to cultivate 1000 mu of land, and then reclaim an additional 10 mu of vegetable land and 10 mu of high-quality grain land for his use.

The remaining land, the warehouse occupies a small part, and the rest is unused.

Su Yuan first planned to buy a huge water storage device.

Recycle the original 2 liter water storage tank.

The new giant water storage tank, which surrounds the wall of the fully automatic titanium alloy armor, must store at least enough drinking water for him to use for a year.

Su Yuan turned on the system to search for water storage equipment.

Ordinary water storage equipment 2 survival points.

20 survival points for large ordinary water storage equipment.

200 million survival points for giant ordinary water storage equipment.

Semi-automatic small water storage equipment...

Su Yuan directly spent 20 billion survival points to purchase a fully automatic large-scale water storage device.

[Full-automatic large-scale water storage equipment: it can store up to 100 million liters, and has a constant temperature automatic sterilization and filtration function to ensure the quality of the stored drinking water. 】

Su Yuan estimated that he consumes about 10 liters of water a year, that is, 100 tons of water.

If the water storage equipment is full, it will be enough for him to use for 10 years.

To store so much water, he has to find a river or drill a few more machine-driven wells.

After the nuclear explosion, the world has no clean water.

If you want to drink clean water, you must go through the evolution of water purification equipment.

Su Yuan still has 2 liters of water in his hand, which is enough for him for a while, and he plans to wait for the meteorite rain to find a place to replenish water.

Then Su Yuan looked at the automatic dome again.

The automatic dome is indispensable, with fluorescent lights on it.

Now after the automatic titanium alloy armor on the top is turned off, if the fluorescent lamp is not turned on, all crops will not be able to grow.

Su Yuan intends to install an automatic solar power dome as one of the backup power sources for the production base.

A survival base cannot have only one power generation equipment. If the nuclear power generator is damaged, it will be very dangerous without a backup power supply.

The automatic solar power dome is to install solar power panels on the original automatic dome.

Su Yuan turned on the system and searched for the automatic power generation panel.

Ordinary solar power panels, 1000 piece for 1 survival points.

Multifunctional solar power generation panel, 1 piece of 1 survival points.

Adjustable solar power generation panel, 10 piece for 1 survival points.

Automatically adjust the solar power generation panel, 30 piece of 1 survival points.

……

Su Yuan calculated that the size of a solar panel is about 10 square meters, and one mu of land needs about 67 yuan. More than 1200 solar panels are needed for 8 mu of land.

Moreover, he can’t use ordinary solar power generation panels, but also needs adjustable solar power generation panels to allow part of the sunlight to shine in to promote plant growth.

Su Yuan directly spent more than 240 billion to purchase more than 8 automatically adjustable solar power panels, which were installed on the automatic dome.

An automatically adjustable solar panel can generate 10 kilowatt-hours of electricity in one hour under sufficient sunlight.

Such an automatic solar power dome can generate about 80 degrees of electricity in one hour.

Su Yuan couldn’t think of how to use the two automatic wind power generators, and temporarily put them aside on the automatic solar power dome.

The machine gun that was originally located on the steel city wall is now located on the 6-meter-thick wall of the automatic titanium alloy armor. Outside the survival base, it is easy to be damaged by meteorites.

Because the petal-like titanium alloy plate protrudes from the inside and does not cover the machine gun.

And the thickness is only 3 meters, which is the weakest part of the survival base.

Su Yuan plans to add laser cannons on the vertical keel above the survival base in the future to increase the attack power.

As for the machine gun outside, Su Yuan didn’t plan to take it back either.

Against ordinary beasts, automatic machine guns are still very effective.

Finally, Su Yuan started to upgrade the land.

First upgrade his 20 acres of exclusive land.

Ordinary land: Level 0, 500 kg of common grain per mu, and 100 kg of common grain for each level up.

Previously, Su Yuan spent 0 survival points to upgrade a thousand acres of land from level 1 to level 1.

In other words, 10 survival points were used to upgrade one mu of land.

Upgrading to level 2 requires 100 survival points per acre.

Level 3 requires 1000 survival points per acre.

Level 4 requires 1 survival points per mu.

In this way, for every level of ordinary land, all survival points will be expanded by 10 times.

Su Yuan spent nearly 20 billion survival points to upgrade 9 acres of land to level 23 of ordinary land.

Ding, the upgrade was successful.

[Ordinary land: level 9, 1400 kilograms of ordinary grain per mu]

[Upgrading to high-quality land requires 10 billion survival points per mu, and each mu can produce 1500 kilograms of ordinary grain and 500 kilograms of high-quality grain. 】

Su Yuan didn’t expect that it would be so expensive to upgrade high-quality land. He still has 102.5 billion survival points left in his hand, which is only enough to upgrade 10 acres of land.

If you want to upgrade 1000 mu of land to high-quality land, wouldn’t you need to use 1 trillion survival points.

Su Yuan rubbed his head and said:
”Mud horse, is there any way to save the cost of land upgrade?”

”Master, yes! Master can use the laboratory to develop and improve the soil by himself, so as to achieve the purpose of upgrading the land!” Xiaoyu reminded.

Su Yuan suddenly realized that he had always forgotten to build a laboratory.

Therefore, Su Yuan spent 1 million survival points to build a laboratory.

The laboratory is built next to the warehouse. It is a hexagonal building with a height of 6 meters.

[Laboratory: Level 1, 600 square meters, equipped with a fully automatic research and development machine, which can develop multi-functional general technology projects. The first research and development is free, and each subsequent research and development requires 1 million survival points. 】

[Upgrade to level 2, 50 billion survival points. 】

”Master, at least a level 2 laboratory is required to develop the soil needed for high-quality land!”

”upgrade!”

Ding, the upgrade was successful.

[Laboratory: Level 2, 700 square meters, equipped with an intelligent research and development robot, which can develop fully automatic level ordinary technology projects. The first research and development is free, and each subsequent research and development requires 10 billion survival points. 】

[Upgrade to level 3, 500 billion survival points. 】

Su Yuan didn’t upgrade any more, he only had 50.5 billion survival points left in his hand.

Su Yuan walked into the laboratory, which was a milky-white building equipped with various experimental equipment and supercomputers for calculating and analyzing data.
