Archean Eon Art

Chapter 397 Nine-Day Prayer

“You have figured out his identity?” Imperial Lord Starquix’s eyes narrowed as the pressure he exuded intensified.

“Yes,” said Nine Abyss respectfully.

“I’m confident,” said Thousand Cricket.

“Who is it?” Imperial Lord Starquix asked coldly.

Thousand Cricket continued, “Archean Mountain disciple, Marquis Eastcalm, Meng Chuan. Nine Abyss and I believe that Meng Chuan’s talent far exceeds what’s publicly known. He secretly became a Regis Godfiend long ago. However, because he’s good at underground reconnaissance, humans have tried to conceal this and keep it under wraps.”

“Marquis Eastcalm, Meng Chuan?” asked Imperial Lord Starquix. “Are you 100% confident? What I want is… 100% confidence.”

This was because he had to pay a huge price to attack the target. Last time, they had set up the Three Terminal Formation. Patriarch Yellow Oscillate and Demon Monarch Longswim had lost their lives and failed. He naturally had to pay a greater price to kill the Godfiend this time.

If he killed the wrong person?

Thousand Cricket’s life wasn’t enough to make up his losses.

“Imperial Lord,” said Thousand Cricket respectfully, “I sought 3,000 demon monarchs and left karmic blood curses on them. They are scattered all over the human world. It was completely random. Now, 533 demon monarchs have died. Marquis Eastcalm, Meng Chuan, killed 527 of them.”

Nine Abyss added, “Without a token, it’s like searching for a needle in a haystack. I probably won’t be able to find 50 of those cursed demon monarchs in a month. Yet, Meng Chuan killed so many of them. He must be that Godfiend that is extremely skilled at underground reconnaissance.” “Meng Chuan?” Imperial Lord Starquix fell silent before asking, “Does his daily lifestyle fit his underground reconnaissance schedule?”

“After confirming that it was him, I’ve often confirmed his location through the karmic blood curse,” said Demon Sage Thousand Cricket. “During the day, he is virtually all over the world. He’s at the bottom of the four seas, under the land—basically everywhere underground. As for our demon monarchs, they are mainly slaughtered during the day. It completely matches. At night, he returns to the Great Zhou Dynasty’s Jiang State Capital.”

“Underground-all over the world-during the day? Returns to Jiang State Capital at night?” Starquix nodded slightly, a smile appearing on his face. “Thousand Cricket, you did well.” “It’s my honor to serve the Imperial Lords.” Thousand Cricket bowed slightly.

Starquix smiled and looked at the two demon sages with satisfaction. Then, his figure in the pool disappeared.

…

Demon Realm.

The three Imperial Lords were gathered in Ice Palace, which floated in the sky.

“The intelligence on the human Godfiend, Meng Chuan, is all here,” said Emperor Roc. “From the intelligence, Meng Chuan entered Archean Mountain by taking first place during their entrance examination. When he was a Great Solar Godfiend, he joined forces with his companions to kill Blackwater Palace Lord of the Skydemon Sect not long after he left the mountain. This was because he was extremely fast and was good at rescuing people. The peak fourth Firmament demon monarch-Demon Monarch Blackrock-attacked Meng Chuan, but Blackrock failed in the end. Meng Chuan and his wife were immediately announced to have become Marquis Godfiends.

“More than ten years later, our demons attacked human cities on a large scale. From his actions, we can confirm that he has the strength of a top Regis Godfiend at the very least. I’m guessing that he was already a Regis Godfiend by then,” said Emperor Roc. “In that case, it’s very likely that he has been a Regis Godfiend for more than ten years.

“If his talent is as monstrous as speculated, he might reach the peak of the Seamless realm in ten years. With some special opportunities and powerful treasures, he can easily fight against the three-Yellow Oscillate and companyalone. Furthermore, he cultivates the lightning lineage. When Yellow Oscillate and North Sense attacked the mysterious Godfiend, they also confirmed that the Godfiend was skilled with lightning,” said Emperor Roc. “Indeed, Meng Chuan does match with all the information we have.”

Lady Blackmoon said softly, “Have you forgotten one thing? He’s extremely fast. For him to be able to probe the underground so well, other than using a mystic technique, his speed will greatly increase his reconnaissance efficiency.”

“Since it’s confirmed, I’ll prepare.” Imperial Lord Starquix looked at his two companions.

Emperor Roc and Lady Blackmoon looked at him. “Make the preparations.”

Imperial Lord Starquix nodded. He waved his hand and placed a huge black disc on the ground. The black disc had specks of light.

“Archean Eon Realm, Great Zhou Dynasty, Marquis Eastcalm, Meng Chuan!” Imperial Lord Starquix wrote words on the disc with his right hand. Every word was condensed with blood before fusing into the black disc.

In the River of Spacetime, the human world was also known as the Archean Eon Realm.

Many worlds were named after the strongest person in the history of their world. After all, Ancestral Master Archean Eon’s fame had spread far and wide across many worlds. When experts from other worlds thought of Ancestral Master Archean Eon’s hometown, they naturally called it the Archean Eon Realm.

Boom!

As Starquix wrote words on the black disc, he began to form a weak karmic connection with the human world’s Meng Chuan.

Through the illusory, ethereal karma, Starquix vaguely saw the figure of a young man.

“It’s a pity that we don’t have his blood or hair as a medium.” Imperial Lord Starquix shook his head gently. “Furthermore, he’s a world away from me. The human world is too great of an obstacle to me. It’s quite a struggle locking onto Meng Chuan.”

“This Meng Chuan can fight three enemies single-handedly, and the Three Terminal Formation failed to do anything to him. It’s impossible for us to obtain his hair or blood secretly,” said Emperor Roc. “It’s impossible to obtain hair or blood from even ordinary Regis Godfiends thanks to their Seamless domain. If we can secretly take his blood or hair, we can also take his head.”“Yes, I know.” Starquix nodded. “I need to pray to him for nine days and write a complete incantation for him. When I curse him on the ninth day, the power of the curse will reach its maximum.”

“We’ve waited so many years. Of course, we have the patience to wait another nine days,” said Emperor Roc with a smile.

“Starquix will pray to him for nine days. Once the curse descends upon him on the ninth day, we will definitely know if he’s dead or alive. It’s fine if he’s dead,” said Blackmoon. “If he really survives and discovers that his identity has been exposed, the humans will definitely strengthen their protection against him. It will be much harder for us to carry out an attack on him next time. Therefore, the plan this time needs to be more detailed and flawless.”

“What do you mean?” Emperor Roc and Imperial Lord Starquix looked at Lady Blackmoon.

“Since we are doing it, make sure his death is certain. We’ll also secretly prepare our final plan,” said Lady Blackmoon. “Prepare everything we can to deal with Meng Chuan. We must get rid of him. If he remains alive, most of our plans will fail.”

Emperor Roc and Imperial Lord Starquix nodded. “Yes.”

Emperor Roc began making other preparations while Lady Blackmoon guarded Imperial Lord Starquix.

Imperial Lord Starquix knelt in front of the black disc, completely motionless. Every two hours, he would write a ‘curse incantation’ on the black disc with blood. In his perception, the blurry young man’s figure gradually became clearer.
