Chapter 286 Fifth Firmament

Calm Sea Pass, Xue Manor.

The training ground in Xue Manor was extremely large. It took up more than half the entire manor, and it was a kilometer long and wide. Servants were forbidden from entering the training ground. Even Godfiends had to ‘report’ outside the training ground. Only one person was at the training grounds currently, King Calm Sea.

Exhale, inhale. King Calm Sea sat cross-legged on the training ground’s grass. Nobody disturbed him here. He had a cold expression and was tall. A strange, magical power revolved around him as he sat cross-legged. The moonlight distorted around him, and the flow of time seemed to change.

Huh? He opened his eyes. It was like the first ray of light in the world, one that had a terrifying aura. King Calm Sea was an extremely reputable Godfiend. Even the demons were extremely afraid of him. Archan Mountain recognized him as the Regis Godfiend that had the highest chance of reaching the Creation realm. Despite knowing that he was a great threat, the demons didn’t dare ambush him. Demon Sage Nine Abyss had never chosen him as an opponent.

Envoys? King Calm Sea looked up at the sky. Two figures had appeared in the sky. One was an avian demon monarch envoy, while the other was a peacock-shaped, dark-red metallic beast.

“King Calm Sea.” The avian demon monarch envoy respectfully handed an envelope over. The envelope flew into King Calm Sea’s hands. “These are transfer orders from Archean Mountain.”

“Transfer orders?” King Calm Sea frowned slightly. He had been presiding over Calm Sea Pass for a long time. Could it be that he was being sent out of Calm Sea Pass?

He opened the envelope and read his transfer orders.

During wartime, the likelihood of Calm Sea Pass being attacked is rather low. A Guardian Divine Beast shall guard it. I’m being transferred to North Night City? King Calm Sea glanced at the Guardian Divine Beast. He could vaguely sense that the Guardian Divine Beast’s body was special. It was likely a Creation-realm divine armament. He could defeat the Guardian Divine Beast, but not truly damage it.

It can guard the city pass alone. King Calm Sea nodded slightly and said, “I’ll head to North Night City.”

Swoosh.

King Calm Sea instantly vanished, reappearing far away in the sky. In another flash, he vanished from Calm Sea Pass completely.

A Guardian Divine Beast will temporarily guard True Martial Pass. I’ll be defending Water Separation City? King True Martial smiled as he read the letter. He was a long-haired elder that treated others very warmly. He was the strongest Regis Godfiend of Archean Mountain’s current generation. In terms of technique realm and Essence Soul, he was in no way inferior to a Creation Supremacy. However, the probability of him breaking through to the Creation realm was extremely slim due to his age. If he attempted to make a breakthrough, his chances of dying were greater than 90 percent.

It’s very unlikely for True Martial Pass will be attacked. It’ll be fine for the Guardian Divine Beast to guard it. King True Martial nodded. His status was special. He was appointed to be the next Dao Protector, so he knew many of the sect’s secrets. For example, he knew that as long as these Guardian Divine Beasts were maintained well, they could exist for all eternity. It was fine if they did not fight, but once they really fought, the cost of maintaining them would increase greatly.

After all, a Guardian Divine Beast was just a special puppet. It was normal for Godfiends to fight. However, a Guardian Divine Beast required an astonishing amount of energy to fight. In a battle, the cost of maintaining it was equivalent to tens of millions of credits. It was best if they didn’t fight at all.

We have to win this decisive battle. Otherwise, it will be troublesome once we use up all our trump cards. When King True Martial saw the Guardian Divine Beast, he guessed the Supremacy’s general plan. Perhaps, most of the sect’s reserve combat strength had been employed.

Swoosh.

King True Martial took a step forward, and dozens of his afterimages appeared in the air as he disappeared into the horizon.

In terms of speed, King Calm Sea and King True Martial far surpassed ordinary Regis Godfiends. They were only slightly inferior to Creation Supremacies.

The battle is coming. The white-haired, white-browed elder looked at the letter and nodded slightly. He took a step forward and streaked across the horizon.

King White Elephant was the oldest among current Regis Godfiends. He wasn’t far from entering Millennium Instant Hall.

That night, the three sects dispatched forces to all over the world. The three sects managed their respective territories; thus, they were very fast. In six hours, all of their forces had arrived at their assigned locations! Meng Chuan, Liu Qiyue, Xue Feng, Yan Chitong, and many others patiently waited for the final battle to begin.

Inside a grotto-heaven.

Demon Sage Nine Abyss sat on his throne and flipped through a dossier.

“Two Marquis Godfiends from Two World Island have leaked information. One Archean Mountain Marquis Godfiend has leaked information. There’s nothing from Black Sand Grotto-Heaven?” Demon Sage Nine Abyss frowned. “Isn’t it said that there are 18 Marquis Godfiends that are in contact with us? Only three leaked information? How can they cower at such a critical moment?”.

“Demon Sage, the three great sects are very careful. It’s very difficult to leak any information,” said a Skydemon respectfully. “It’s already not easy for these three Marquis Godfiends to leak some information.”

“Two World Island’s two Marquis Godfiends are hidden beside medium-sized World Entrances?” Demon Sage Nine Abyss read the intel. “That Archean Mountain Marquis Godfiend, who leaked the news, is also hiding beside a medium-sized World Entrance?”

The Skydemon respectfully said, “They are all hiding by World Entrances alone. It wasn’t easy for them to find a chance to leak information.”

“The humans are now sending Marquis Godfiends to guard medium-sized World Entrances?” Demon Sage Nine Abyss frowned. “From the looks of it, they are extremely wary against our one million demon monarchs. They definitely won’t let so many demon monarchs enter the human world easily.”

“Yes,” said the Skydemon respectfully. “They would rather reduce some of their cities’ defenses to stop a million demon monarchs,” said Demon Sage Nine Abyss. “However, just three pieces of intelligence tell us too little.”

The Skydemon reverently said, “The dossier contains some of our Skydemon Sect’s guesses after searching for information thoroughly.”

“Alright, you are dismissed.” Demon Sage Nine Abyss waved his hand.

“Yes.” The Skydemon retreated.

Demon Sage Nine Abyss pondered the situation.

Moments later, a group of fifth Firmament demon monarchs entered the hall.

The fifth Firmament demon monarchs bowed respectfully. “Demon Sage.”“Hahaha…” Demon Sage Nine Abyss could not help but laugh when he saw them. “It looks like all of you have succeeded in breaking through. Our forces in the human world have become stronger!”

“If it weren’t for the treasures bestowed by the Imperial Lords, perhaps only half of us would have been able to break through normally,” said the leader-a three-headed snake demon monarch—with a laugh. “With those treasures, the 23 of us managed to break through in one go after entering the human world.”

Demon Sage Nine Abyss nodded slightly. “Only the 23 of you were chosen out of everybody else in the Demon Realm. With that, we now have 23 fifth Firmament demon monarchs in the human world. We have a greater chance of winning this war.” “Demon Sage, what should we do now?” All of them looked at Demon Sage Nine Abyss. Demon Sage Nine Abyss smiled and said, “Don’t worry. The Imperial Lords have already made arrangements. The 23 of you are to launch sneak attacks on 23 large cities in Black Sand Dynasty and the Great Zhou Dynasty. A group of fourth Firmament demon monarchs will launch sneak attacks first. They are to attack openly while the 23 of you are to attack surreptitiously! If it’s just Marquis Godfiends guarding a city, the two parties shall cooperate to kill them. If it’s a powerful Regis Godfiend guarding a city, retreat immediately. The safety of the 23 of you is very important.”

The demons trusted the 23 fifth Firmament demon monarchs after much investigation. Each of them was bestowed with valuable treasures! After all, it wasn’t easy to find a fourth Firmament demon monarch who was close to breaking through.

The fifth Firmament demon monarchs nodded. “Understood.”

“These are your respective plans.” Demon Sage Nine Abyss waved his hand, and 23 scrolls appeared in midair. They flew towards the 23 fifth Firmament demon monarchs.

“All of you are to follow your plans. You are not to pass this information to any other demon monarch. Anyone who dares to inquire about them will be a traitor,” instructed Demon Sage Nine Abyss. “Go back and prepare. I will send all of you away very soon.”

The fifth Firmament demon monarchs respectfully said, “Yes.” As Demon Sage Nine Abyss watched them leave, his eyes were filled with anticipation. “Since the Imperial Lords were the ones to create the plan, humanity will definitely fall even if they have some secret reserve strength.”
