Immortality Through Array Formations

Chapter 2498: Chapter 19: Gui Tao of Karma_3

Yet precisely because there was no means of ”causality countermeasure,” when Mo Hua was divined for causality earlier, he could only watch from the sidelines, unable to do anything.

He realized this wouldn’t do.

He possessed a formidable Divine Thought power, yet couldn’t wield it.

Mo Hua disliked this feeling.

”Counteract causality with my own strength...”

”How to counteract?”

Mo Hua lay on the bed, his eyes open, staring at the ceiling, as he recollected all his lifetime’s cultivation and journeys, pondering if any mentor’s spells could be directly ”borrowed...”

Firstly, his master’s couldn’t be borrowed.

Because he hadn’t actually seen how his master used Heavenly secret Calculation to operate Heavenly secret Skill.

Aside from his master, the only one he could ”borrow from” was his Uncle...

”Uncle is terrifying, and his terror lies in the fact that ordinary cultivators don’t even dare to mention his name.”

”Unmentionable, invisible, even unthinkable, or else a certain causality would be triggered, bringing Uncle’s wily minds upon them, leading to trouble worse than death.”

This causality power surely has many restrictions, such as time, space, cultivation level, strength of Divine Thought, and so on.

Mo Hua currently couldn’t comprehend it, but this way of ”wily minds descent” seemed like something he could ”borrow.”

After all, Uncle’s Divine Thought is strong, and his own Divine Thought is strong too.

Uncle’s mastery of Heavenly secret Tricky Calculation is unparalleled, and he happens to have learned a bit of it too.

The foundation and framework are the same.

Uncle is a master among masters.

Learning from him, even if he doesn’t become a master among masters, he should at least become a decent ”master.”

Mo Hua contemplated:

”Uncle’s Heavenly secret Tricky Calculation is more esoteric and supremely wise, he can divide wily minds, transforming Divine Sense into thousands...”

”I can’t do that, I can only create ’wily minds shadow.’ But this shadow, draped on Divine Thought, can only amplify computational power, not completely divide.”

”Unable to divide... then unable to generate an independent ’wily minds avatar,’ to descend through causality...”

”Then this still won’t do...”

Mo Hua furrowed his brow, pondering deeply before suddenly shaking his head.

”No, that’s wrong, my thinking is wrong...”

”Uncle is too formidable, I definitely can’t be as formidable as him, causing others to merely think of my name and have my thought ’descend,’ affixing Divine Sense upon them...”

”Moreover, there’s no need for me to divide into ’wily minds avatar’ right now.”

”This is a profound spell of Heavenly secret Tricky Calculation, too difficult...”

”What I need to do now is merely ’causality countermeasure,’ relying on my own ability to safeguard my Life Chart, so others don’t dare to ’manipulate’ me easily.”

”Or at least, when they attempt to divine me, I can perceive it and ’take advantage’ of them in return...”

”How to counteract? Divine Thought into sword?”

Mo Hua thought it over and shook his head.

Divine Thought into sword belongs to the realm of Sea of Consciousness, Nightmare, and other levels of Divine Thought World power.

However, Heavenly Mechanism Causality is a different set of Dao Laws.

Mo Hua hasn’t delved deep into this, he can’t say for sure, he only feels it’s a system that interweaves subjective and objective, with Divine Thought and material coexisting, virtual and real worlds connected, willpower and karma blended.

Though related to Divine Thought, it isn’t directly equivalent.

”Simple Divine Thought Slaughter technique can’t be used temporarily... so use Uncle’s ’Planting Devil in Taoist Heart’?”

Following this thought, Mo Hua continued pondering:

”The principle of Planting Devil in Taoist Heart is to divide the ’Demon Seed,’ plant it in the ’Taoist Heart.”

”In reality, one needs to use language as a ’bridge,’ planting the ’Demon Seed’ in someone’s heart, thereby taking root and sprouting, influencing their mind.”

”But in Life Chart causality...”

”I have no way to communicate with the ’intruder,’ can’t directly use language as a ’bridge,’ without language, there’s no ’Demon Seed’...”

Mo Hua frowned deeply, pondering without solution, so he could only substitute himself as ”Uncle,” to think how the terrifying Uncle would handle this issue in such a situation...

After a long while, Mo Hua’s mind shook, and two words surfaced from his mind:

”Evil Qi!”

He had an intuition, if Uncle were in his shoes in the current situation, he certainly would figure out a way to use the refined ”Evil Qi” from boundless slaughter as a medium to create ”Demon Seed.”

This is a sort of inexplicable understanding between a sect uncle and nephew.

After all, in Mo Hua’s Life Chart, the causality for Corpse King and Evil Embryo is utterly uncontrollable, even Mo Hua himself hasn’t clearly perceived it.

Elder Master Xun, Mr. Zhuang, along with the Tai Xu Yin Yang Lock fused fog, even Mo Hua himself cannot see through.

After calculating continually, the only one he possibly has control over is the ”Evil Qi” arising from the slaughter he committed personally.

This is the only cultivation power he could potentially manipulate from his Life Chart.

”Combine slaughter Evil Qi and Heavenly secret Tricky Calculation, using ’Planting Devil in Taoist Heart’ as a form, merging into a special causality tricky Dao spell, to counter those who attempt to divine me through causality...”

Mo Hua’s eyes gradually lit up.

Afterwards, he impatiently began attempting, cultivating step by step:

”First use Heavenly secret Tricky Calculation to divide a strand of wily minds...”

”Then use Planting Devil in Taoist Heart to transform this ’wily minds’ into a ’Demon Seed’...”

”Then merge this strand transformed into ’Demon Seed’ wily minds with the Evil Qi in my Life Chart...”

”After merging, use... Demon Path to transform Evil... No, this is external transformation of Evil; should use Blood Prison Pupil Skill, to incite Evil Qi, then let Evil Qi retaliate...”

”Because only a small amount of Evil Qi is mobilized, the retaliation is within an acceptable range.”

”After Evil Qi retaliates, naturally, it’ll reverse flow back into my Life Chart.”

”Thus, the Evil Qi acts as a ’bridge,’ bringing the wily minds refined into ’Demon Seed’ back into my Life Chart.”

”Anyone calculating my causality, once they touch this Evil Qi, will be ’Planting Devil in Taoist Heart’ by me...”

This process sounds simple, but involves too many, too deep, and too complex Divine Thought Skills.

Heavenly secret Tricky Calculation, Planting Devil in Taoist Heart, Divine Thought Taoism of Heaven Yan Jue, along with Divine Sense manipulation, and the Evil Qi in Life Chart, plus the two types of Evil Transformation Skill and Evil Power Transformation spell points...

To deeply understand all these skills, then break them apart, twist them, and piece them together according to one’s own ideas.

Even for Mo Hua, the practical operation was extraordinarily challenging.

He turned down all affairs, attempted for three days and three nights before finally refining a strand of wily minds ”Demon Seed” according to his heart.

Mo Hua let out a long sigh of relief, and then his heart filled with anticipation.

Afterwards, he lay on the bed, eyes closed, resting, waiting for others to ”manipulate” him again.

Sure enough, come evening, when night descended, after 1 p.m.

An anomaly was felt in his Life Chart, as if someone was using a Secret Technique to spy on his causality.

This person investigating his causality Life Chart, according to Mo Hua’s estimate, should be from the Canglang Sect.

Most likely, it’s Canglang Sect’s Sect Leader, who hired someone to divine the cause of death of the wolf-clothed youth.

And this person, insidious and gloomy, was likely the ”advisor” hidden by Canglang Sect Sect Leader.

Mo Hua followed through his plan, using Blood Prison Pupil to incite Evil Qi, triggering Evil Qi to retaliate, merging a strand of wily minds within the Evil Qi.

The wily minds contained a notion of ”Planting Devil in Taoist Heart”:

”I am a waste, might as well die...”
