Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 133 Flying Wing AirlinesChapter 133 Flying Wing Airlines
In Russell’s doubtful eyes, the door of the airship slowly opened, and a middle-aged man in butler’s clothes walked out with several young attendants.

These people were well-trained, performed old-school ceremonial movements, and stood neatly in a line in front of the insect house.

Seeing such a scene, the onlookers didn’t feel too strange.

On the surface, the world of beast control looks very modern, but in fact, because high-level pet beasts are concentrated in the hands of a small number of people, the distribution of resources is uneven.

Some of the richest businessmen, or some of the top leaders of the alliance, actually live a life similar to that of ancient nobles. It is normal to have butlers and attendants.

”Hello Mr. Russell, Ms. Tong Mingzhu invited you to have lunch. I wonder if you are free?”

Facing this sudden visitor, Russell was still in a daze. The middle-aged man had already bowed deeply to him, then took off his hat and said respectfully.

”Ms. Tong Mingzhu?”

Russell, who has always lived a two-point and one-line life, is considered a half-nerd. Apart from some local alliance personnel and businessmen in Senluo City, he actually doesn’t have much communication, especially the name Tong Mingzhu, which he has no impression of at all.

”Ms. Tong Mingzhu is the chairman of Feiyi Shipping Company. The passenger routes connecting most cities in the southern principality are one of the industries controlled by our company.”

Russell’s doubts were obviously expected by the visitor. He took out a somewhat ostentatious gold-gilded invitation from his arms and handed it to Russell, while whispering to him the identity of Ms. Tong Mingzhu.

After hearing this, Russell was greatly surprised.

He has been exploring ways to make money some time ago, and has also dabbled in the business history of the world of beast control. Among the large enterprises in the four major principalities, the name of Flying Wing Shipping Company is well known.

As the steward said, this company controls the air routes of the southern principality. It is not an exaggeration to say that it controls one of the economic lifelines of the principality.

”What does she want from me?”

However, it was very strange for such a rich man to suddenly invite him to dinner. Russell couldn’t help but ask the middle-aged man weakly.

”Sorry, I am only the administrator of the lady’s private kitchen airship. I don’t know the specific details of her appointment with Mr. Russell. It is up to Mr. Russell to decide whether to go to the appointment or not.”

The middle-aged man had no comment on this question and bowed politely and indifferently.

”Okay, I have nothing to do at the moment anyway, please lead the way.”

After thinking about it, Russell accepted the invitation.

After all, the other party is a respectable person, and if he extends an invitation to himself in such a big way on the street, there will never be any danger in the public eye.

After all, being able to meet a business tycoon of this level is an opportunity that many people dream of. If you refuse because you are worried that the other party will murder you, that would be too much.

”this way please.”

Seeing that Russell agreed, the middle-aged man opened the door to the back seat of the airship and welcomed him up.

It has to be said that rich people are enviable existences in any world. Riding a small airship across the sky above Senluo City, Russell saw the whole city clearly for the first time.

Senluo City, which is built in forests and mountains, is full of greenery. Tall trees can be seen standing between houses everywhere in the city. At noon, the streets and alleys are bustling with people. It is a prosperous and peaceful scene.

The airship drove for a while, and as the flight altitude continued to increase, it finally came close to another airship that was as big as a house.

According to the middle-aged man’s introduction, Ms. Tong Mingzhu’s private dining room is this large airship that seems to cost around million yuan.

Matching the luxurious airship restaurant, the decoration and facilities inside the airship are also amazing. As soon as Russell stepped into the large airship from the air channel, he immediately felt a strong aura of dragon fire.

Different from the dragon breath used by real dragons, dragon fire is the flame used by sub-dragons and dragon beasts.

A small amount of dragon blood endows dragon fire with powerful damage and demon-breaking properties. For a beast master, having a pet beast that can use dragon fire is something worth showing off.

But in Ms. Tong Mingzhu’s private dining room, the terrifying dragon fire turned into a cooking flame.I saw a huge piece of fresh meat from an unknown pet animal hanging on a huge grill. An adult sixth-order platinum-level Earth Fire Dragon Beast spit out streams of dragon fire under the command of the beast master, roasting the meat in front of him evenly. piece.

And Ms. Tong Mingzhu, who has assets worth hundreds of billions, is sitting at the table in a casual robe, tasting peeled fruit and reading a stack of documents.

”Please sit down.”

Seeing Russell walking into the restaurant under the guidance of the middle-aged man, Ms. Tong Mingzhu waved to him friendly.

”Hello, Ms. Tong Mingzhu, I wonder why you came to see me?”

Looking at the piece of high-level pet animal meat that was slowly changing under the dragon fire, Russell, who estimated that this meal might cost him tens of thousands of credits, couldn’t help but feel a little panicked.

”Don’t rush into business yet. Lunch is the meal time of the day when you least have to worry about gaining weight. You should enjoy it.”

Ms. Tong Mingzhu’s behavior was very approachable. She did not act like a condescending nobleman as Russell had guessed. Instead, she took the initiative to push a plate of appetizers in front of Russell.

The host had already spoken, and Russell couldn’t be too impatient. He could only suppress the anxiety and curiosity in his heart and picked up the tableware in front of him.

Fortunately, these delicacies made from sky-high-priced ingredients were indeed very delicious, and the expensive dragon fire barbecue was even more delicious. The two of them ate with gusto, and they didn’t feel embarrassed even though they didn’t speak for a while.

”Okay, let’s get down to business.”

After finishing her lunch efficiently and elegantly and taking a break for tea, Ms. Tong Mingzhu’s expression turned serious.

”I always like to be straightforward. To put it bluntly, you may not be very experienced in business. With your nurturing ability, choosing a partner like Tian Xiuqi is actually a bit lower.”

Entering business mode, Ms. Tong Mingzhu’s whole person’s temperament became much sharper. After a few words, Russell felt the pressure of talking to the boss.

”In addition to the basic clothing industry, insect-based materials have actually been integrated into all aspects of people’s lives. Even in relatively high-end industries in the eyes of the public, such as the shipping industry and the medical industry, the demand for insect-based materials is very large.”

Her words sounded unkind, but the scale of a shipping company that spans multiple places is indeed much larger than a local clothing company in Senluo City.

Even if Tian Xiuqi himself was present, he probably would not dare to raise any objections to these remarks.

As she spoke, she handed several documents into Russell’s hands.

Glancing at the documents handed over by Ms. Tong Mingzhu, Russell found that they were basically data reports on insect-based materials.

Whether it is adhesives and special coatings required for airships, or balloons used in entertainment projects such as hot air balloon rafting, the cost-effectiveness of choosing insect-based materials is much higher than other types of materials.

To give a simple example, a hot air balloon made of worm silk is not only low-cost, but can also be partially maintained and repaired. If it is broken, just leave some worm silk and weave it in. The main purpose is convenience and speed.
And if you use the skins of other pet animals or synthetic materials to make a hot air balloon, the cost will increase several times. It will also be troublesome to maintain. If a small hole is broken, the entire balloon will sometimes have to be replaced.

Therefore, even leading companies in the Principality such as Flying Wing Shipping Company do not mind cooperating with some small and medium-sized insect material suppliers.

However, insect-based materials also have a problem, that is, while the quality and price are stable, the upper limit is too low.

Under normal circumstances, a boat body bonded with insect-based materials and a hot-air balloon made of insect silk can meet the needs of use, but an aircraft of this level cannot effectively resist the attacks of wild flying beasts.

Considering that the maintenance cost of using other materials was too high, and the use of insect-based materials was not safe enough, the Flying Wing Shipping Company had to abandon several routes that it had painstakingly explored.

As the owner of a pet house that specializes in insect-based materials, Russell can completely understand this regrettable situation.

After all, for an ordinary beast master, without a contract, if the mucus or threads spit out by a low-level insect beast has the strength to withstand the attacks of a mid-level or above pet beast, it is almost impossible. An impossible thing.

”Based on some information at hand, I think you can cultivate insect-based materials that meet the needs of flying-wing shipping. This is the reason why I met you today.”

After saying these prefaces, Ms. Tong Mingzhu took a sip of tea, and then bluntly stated the reason why she made an appointment with Russell today.
