Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 109Chapter 109
”I’ll go, can I still summon my little brother?”

Seeing the scene where the forest tree demon brought a bunch of small trees and released the flying leaf storm at the same time, Russell was stunned on the spot.

Relying on the gym to prepare fertile soil in advance, while continuously recovering energy, you can also quickly sow small trees. This is too bad!
After all, Ayou’s Nightmare Butterfly Shadow is a high-level rare skill. With the blessing of shadow form, it can only condense seven butterfly shadows. This seeding skill can easily summon more than ten trees that can synchronize the skills of the forest tree demon. tree, the situation on the field suddenly reversed again.

But what can be done? After all, asking is the characteristic of the gym...

”The gym is really hard to beat!”

Seeing Ayou trying his best to release Nether Explosion, but still being beaten very hard by the flying leaf storm, Russell only felt the pressure doubled.

Relying on the shadow form, Ayou could barely maintain a confrontation with the forest tree demon, but only it and the beast master knew that this situation would not last long.

On the one hand, he continuously activates the consumption skill of double burning energy, and on the other hand, he relies on the root source to continuously recover. As the battle time lengthens, it is naturally obvious who will have the advantage.

Although the Flying Leaf Storm skill is not completely unrestricted, Russell’s visual inspection showed that after fighting for a long time, the forest tree demon’s dense canopy was slightly sparse, and it was obvious that it could maintain its offensive for a long time.

In this gym battle, Russell personally experienced the power of specialized training for the first time.

After almost completely giving up on the abilities of vine entanglement and tree trunk attack, and focusing on cultivating leaf-based skills, a mass-produced forest tree demon from a gym was actually able to exert a long-range attack ability that was not inferior to Ayou’s.

It is undeniable that this combat power does have many limitations.

For example, Ayou only needs one day to recover the power of exhaustion, and the forest tree demon’s leaf growth cycle is about seven days.

For another example, once the combat environment is changed to an area where the soil is not fertile enough, or it is simply impossible to take root and sow seeds on the floor, the strength of the forest tree demon will be reduced by at least %.

However, these conditions are not enough to obscure the brilliance of specialized breeding.

Being able to develop a pure plant-based silver-level pet beast to this extent, whether in terms of commercial value or scientific research value, is difficult to estimate.

”In the world of beast control, there are indeed many things I haven’t seen before!”

Although it seemed that Ayou couldn’t beat him, Russell was not disappointed. Instead, he was a little happy because he deeply understood the charm of the beast control gym.

Inspired by the Green Leaf Gym, he decided to find some insect-type pets with specialized prospects to raise and raise, laying a solid foundation for establishing a gym in the future.

Of course, this is all a thing for another day. What Russell needs to do now is how to make himself lose more decently, at least not to become the most popular emoji among recent challengers.

After thinking about it, Russell weakly asked the security personnel not far behind him:

”Hello, so what...can I surrender?”

Hearing this, the security guard who was watching Ayou and the forest tree demon fighting each other was obviously stunned, and it took him several seconds to answer.

”...Okay, if you are sure to give up the challenge, I will send a signal to Master Ye.”

It took several days to see a new beast master who could compete with the master of the gym. Unexpectedly, he gave up before even finishing the first game. The security staff felt a little pity.

You know, after getting the badge of the Beast Taming Gym, even if you don’t participate in league competitions, it can still be a shining stepping stone on your career path.

Many large companies whose business is linked to beast breeding and wild exploration even set their employees’ starting salaries based on the number of badges.

”Yeah, I’m sure!”

I could see in the eyes of the security personnel that they were trying to persuade him to persist, but Russell decisively chose to surrender.

It is not unusual to choose to give up in a gym challenge. After all, the real world of beast control is not a game. When a pet beast is injured, it only takes a few seconds to go to the elf center to read and it will be restored to its original state.Unless the pet beast itself is like a forest tree demon, with rough skin and thick flesh and quick recovery, healing is not a simple matter.

Like the minor injury Cang Yunque suffered before, it would take ten and a half months to fully recover by relying on self-healing.

Although there are healing beasts and full-time healing beast masters in the world of beast control, there is also a gap in the healing beasts.

Low-level healing skills will be greatly compromised when used on mid- to high-level pet beasts.

And high-level healing beasts are extremely rare. According to incomplete statistics, among the group of legendary beast masters, the proportion of healing beast masters is less than 5%.

It is said that General Mo Lin’s bone-crushing battle ax dragon suffered some minor injuries when fighting the Moon Demon Rabbit. The treatment cost several million credits, and it has not recovered yet...

If you clearly feel that you cannot defeat the gym, but you have some experience and training ideas, and are preparing to challenge again in the near future, or there are other matters that require your pet to fight, it is a very correct choice to give up in time to avoid injury to your pet.

The reason why the previous beast master named Zhou Wen chose to reach the end was mainly because he traveled hundreds of kilometers to challenge the gym, so naturally he would not give up easily.

But Russell is a local in Senluo City and can come to challenge once a month. There is no need to fight to the point of exhaustion with the gym beasts.

If you have time to recuperate, you might as well let Ayou do special training.

”Young man, my sister is very optimistic about you~”

After receiving the message that Russell gave up the challenge, Ye Qingyu ordered the forest tree demon to stop the offensive, but her expression looked the same as that of the security personnel, and she obviously felt a little pity.

This month has come to the last few days, and the clearance rate of Green Leaf Gym is still at the lowest level among gyms in surrounding cities, and the number of badges issued is also much lower than expected.

The purpose of the existence of the Beast Taming Gym is to stimulate the public’s enthusiasm for cultivation, and to play a role in auditions for large-scale competitions. If everyone is selected and screened out, that is not what the Beast Taming Alliance wants to see. Condition.

Although there is no hard punishment for failing to meet the target, it is quite annoying to have to make various plans and reports next month.

The time it takes to make a plan is enough for her to plant three trees!

Maybe if he hadn’t used that seeding skill just now, this young man wouldn’t have surrendered directly...?
Thinking that he would have to report to the Longquan City Alliance Headquarters in a few days, Ye Qingyu even had the idea of letting go.

But then she severely condemned herself in her heart.

No, no!Using fixed pet beasts to fight with all your strength is the first rule of the gym beast master!

Isn’t it just a data assessment? The worst thing is writing a review!

”Master Ye, I’ll come back next month...!”

Unexpectedly, he gave up the challenge and made the gym leader depressed. Russell couldn’t help scratching his head in embarrassment.

I hope the challenger can pass, but the threshold cannot be too low. It seems that being a gym owner also has its own pressure.

”Okay, okay, sister, please wait~”

The other party didn’t seem to lose confidence, but just planned to go back and make preparations. Ye Qingyu nodded happily.

In just a few seconds, she had already figured out how to write this month’s reflection plan.

Just write, ”Although the number of people who passed was lower than expected, many outstanding young beast masters were inspired during the battle, and it is expected that the passing rate will improve significantly next month.” Alright!
