Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 55 UFO Lord MothChapter 55 UFO Lord Moth
After settling the young queen bee, Russell turned his attention to the breeding equipment closest to him.

What lives there are the black-ringed silkworms hatched from the same batch as Ayou.

After more than half a year of cultivation, coupled with the improvement brought by screening energy, their average growth rate has reached more than 80.00%, and they will turn into cocoons in the near future.

In the process of cultivating these black-ringed celestial silkworms and giant mulberry silkworms, Russell also relied on the detailed information panel provided by the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent to summarize some experiences.

Worm silk is a typical insect-type skill. The more abundant the insect-type energy in the pet’s body, the higher the output and basic qualities of worm silk such as suppleness and toughness will be.

The secondary attributes of ghost, water or fire are linked to the color, look and feel of the worm silk and other additional values.

Therefore, for mass production of worm silk, the higher the secondary attributes, the better.

Russell once tried to increase the ghost-type energy in another black-ringed silkworm as much as possible like cultivating Ayou. As a result, the silk spewed out by this black-ringed silkworm was too dark in color and had a cold feeling unique to the ghost type. Exposure to it for a long time will make the body feel cold and weak, so it is obviously not suitable for making underwear.

Perhaps, for some beast masters who specialize in ghost beasts and curse abilities, this kind of silk thread will come in handy, but if you think about it a little bit, you will know that the market size of such customers must be limited.

Moreover, at this stage, the worm silk from the silkworm pet beasts in the Royal Insect House is ultimately only a black iron bronze grade product. With its beautiful color, it can be sold for several thousand credit points, which is basically the upper limit. If it is to be used as a breeding or For research purposes, the energy in silk is simply not enough.

Russell is a very busy man now and has no time to take the private customization route which is troublesome and may not necessarily make much money.

Reproductive ability and adaptability are the biggest advantages of insect beasts. Even a slight improvement multiplied by a thousand times is still a huge benefit that cannot be ignored, so there is really no need to do too much work.

Except for a few main battle pets, other pet beasts only need to set a direction, conduct energy screening, and then slowly grow by relying on the evolution aura. There is no need to rush.

Thinking of this, Russell walked to the cultivation equipment and conducted another energy screening for the chubby black-ringed silkworms that had been fed and slept every day since birth.

Russell hasn’t been at home much recently, and has lost the influence of the evolutionary aura. Their bodies contain more or less chaotic energy.

Now that he is a third-level beast master, it is very easy to screen the energy for these first-level black iron-level beasts. He has finished energy screening for an entire box of black-ringed silkworms at once, and he is only slightly tired.

”Ayou, these are your first clansmen, hurry up and show off your skills.”

While the black-ringed silkworms were intoxicated by the wonderful feeling of energy screening, Russell quickly summoned Ayou.

call--

No big deal, look at me!
Ayou also knew that unlocking the lord’s posture would bring great benefits to him. When Russell opened the glass cover on the cultivation device, it immediately flew above these ignorant comrades.

Since the difference in strength was too large, there was no need to establish power through battle, so Ayou did not use any skills, but only concentrated energy to attract attention, and then spread a lot of scale powder.

The dark scale powder will not cause harm to the black-ringed hawkmoth and the UFO hawkmoth themselves, but the smell of the scale powder will make them feel more friendly.

And... inspire worship of powerful tribesmen.

grumble--

chirp-

Sure enough, these black-ringed silkworms became excited in front of similar auras that were eighty-nine points similar to themselves, but whose strength reached the third level of gold level.

Under the influence of group consciousness, they followed the frequency of Ayou’s wings and swayed their bodies regularly, looking like good babies.

At this moment, a thought came to their minds:
If you follow Brother You, you won’t suffer any loss!
At the same time, a message came into Russell’s mind.

”Your pet beast has received sufficient recognition and submission from its peers, and has initially unlocked the status of a lord.”

”Lord’s posture:
It has been initially unlocked, the shared evolution halo has been turned on, and the growth rate of the group has increased by 10%.
Secondary command authority: none
Approximate racial influence: None

Source of evolution accumulation: 0 points

Advanced conditions: The number of surrenders from the same clan reaches 26/200.”

”The development space of Evolutionary Cocoon is really not that big!”

Seeing all the information revealed after unlocking the Lord’s Pose skill, Russell let out a heartfelt sigh in surprise.

As the strength of the main pet beasts increases, the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent seems to be constantly changing, showing new and powerful abilities.Just the unlocking of Lord Ayou’s posture opened his eyes to a lot of opportunities.

First of all, it is the authority of the secondary commander. As the name suggests, it should be able to set up some deputy positions, similar to the nature of deputy chief and second leader.

According to Russell’s speculation, most secondary leaders can also share the evolutionary halo. This means that a race that grows with the help of the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent can ensure that the entire race is always under the influence of the evolutionary halo and enjoys a slow progress. Overall evolution.

Unfortunately, this permission has not been unlocked yet.

But it makes sense when you think about it. After all, the initial requirement to unlock the lord’s posture is only twenty followers, a group of more than twenty insects, and a few deputy positions, which is indeed a bit outrageous.

Fortunately, the status of lord can be continuously improved by expanding the size of the group, which is what makes Russell most happy.

Judging from his many years of gaming experience, as long as it is a task with a progress bar, it will be completed sooner or later.

Although the number of followers required for the second advancement has increased tenfold, for an insect-type pet beast that can give birth to several litters a year, this requirement is just water.

Additionally, approximate racial influence is a very useful ability.

Literally understood, this ability is a great expansion of the category of lord-level pet beasts that can control ethnic groups. As long as they are strong enough and the stage of lord posture is high enough, they may be able to control other races with similar shapes and attributes to themselves.

For example, let Ayou, who is also a moth pet, control the big silkworm and big mulberry moth clan, which are purely insect-type by nature and have high plasticity.

If Ayou can successfully become the leader of the big mulberry moth group, then Russell only needs to let it appoint some secondary leaders to cover the entire breeding ground with the evolutionary halo, without having to cultivate a lord-level big mulberry silkworm from scratch.

In this way, the time and resources required for cultivation can naturally be greatly saved.

”It seems that choosing the insect system is destined to follow the path of group development...”

After sorting out the various gains he had made with his pet beast recently, Russell murmured to himself.

However, his own ideal is to open an insect gym and then build an ”Insect House Street” on Fenglin Road. The progression of the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent coincides with his plan.

Expand the scale of breeding, make money to cultivate the main pet beasts, and then continuously improve the overall strength of the group through the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent, further expand the scale, improve product quality, and make more money...

Isn’t this a virtuous circle?

”The forest land given by Dr. Natsuki is still free, so we need to take care of it quickly.”

Speaking of expanding, Russell immediately thought of the woodland near Maplewood Road.

Growing high-quality feed, and even cultivating plants specifically for certain pet animals, is also an important part of forming a self-sufficient industrial chain.

Now that summer is more than half over, autumn will soon begin. When the heat dissipates and the temperature drops, soil water transpiration will be significantly reduced. In addition, many trees will not grow roots in autumn. It is a good time to transplant the required tree species.

”Ning Ning, the store is currently short of a plant breeder. If you have any reliable classmates or friends, you can introduce them to me. Food and accommodation will be included, and the treatment will be favorable.”

Thinking of this, he turned around and asked Lu Yinning, who was watching Ayou show off his strength.

The core competitiveness of Royal Insect House is the various improvements brought by the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent, so in terms of recruitment, Russell does not require applicants to have outstanding abilities.

On the premise of having basic professional standards, good character, high quality, and strong stability are the most important.

Clear and innocent university interns or recent graduates from this city are very good choices.

Moreover, Lu Yinning looked like a good kid who studies hard and doesn’t mess around with friends. The friends she introduced should be very good in all aspects.

”Um... My roommates are all majoring in pet breeding and are not very good at cultivating plants. However, I can go to the student union and the employment guidance center and ask, and I should be able to find a suitable candidate. The plant breeding department in Senluo City is quite good. famous.”

Hearing Russell mention recruiting people, Lu Yinning thought about it carefully and said that he needed to inquire more.

However, the boss could safely leave the recruitment to her, and she immediately felt that her status in the store had increased a lot.

Brother Russell has been busy all day improving the strength of his two main pet beasts. It seems that I really can’t do it without the insect house~
Work, work hard!
