Earth's Greatest Magus

As the primal energy coursed through Emery’s veins, a new surge of strength came from deep within, a manifestation of his bloodline and his unyielding will. The system’s notifications echoed in his mind, calculating the genetic changes that were taking place. [Calculating ancestor blood essence percentage]

[Analyzing genes]

[Gene Classification – Mythical Bloodline]

[Bloodline Limit – Rank 9]

[Current Rank – Rank 7 – Fey Paragon]

[Royal Fey Wolf Gene Essence: 48 (52) %]

Two years ago, when Emery ascended to the Full Moon realm, he achieved an impressive 6% purification in his bloodline—a monumental leap that brought forth the manifestation of the Star Devouring Beast. Since that breakthrough, despite utilizing advanced blood gene facilities and the Supreme Gene Project, his progress has been slow, with only an additional 2% purification gained.

Now, however, the surge of power ignited by his mental breakthrough brought a massive 4% increase in his bloodline purification, pushing him ever closer to reaching his next bloodline breakthrough.

As the rush of Khaos energy surged within him, added with the highest rank immortal gate, Emery’s battle power skyrocketed, surpassing the 2000 threshold.

With his strength now amplified, Emery slammed forward with devastating force. The Red Demon, who had been recovering from Emery’s last attack, barely had time to react as the blow collided with him.

BAMMM!!!

The battle raged on, the air thick with tension and raw power. Emery, now fully embracing his savage, half-beast form, charged forward with an unrelenting fury. His claws, gleamed like curved blades, slashing with relentless aggression at the Red Demon.

But the Red Demon was no mere opponent. With a wicked grin, Agis effortlessly parried Emery’s attacks, his spear moving in precise, fluid motions, deflecting every strike with terrifying skill. His laughter echoed amidst the chaos, amused by the unexpected challenge.

“Hahaha!!! What is this!!” His tone both mocking and impressed. “You’re really something, aren’t you?!”

Princess Mirial stood at a distance, her eyes wide with shock as she watched the exchange unfold. The young Magus she had belittled just a day ago had now become a force to be reckoned with. She could hardly believe the transformation. Her initial doubts about Emery’s strength had vanished, and now, it was she who felt out of place. She had come to fight, to help, but she found herself unable to do much in the face of such overwhelming power.

Amid the chaos, a deep, booming voice rang out across the battlefield. “Let’s kill him together!!” Dopa, his arm, once shattered, was now whole again, and he was ready for another round. His gargantuan size and strength made him a formidable force, and alongside Emery, he charged at the Red Demon.

On the other side of the battlefield, Kouga and Grand Magus Archie were locked in combat with the Crimson Dragon.

The separation strategy appeared brilliant. Isolating the dragon and its rider limited their synergy, creating an opportunity for each opponent to be overwhelmed individually.

However, the situation was not as favorable on Emery’s side.

Neither Emery’s savage onslaught nor Dopa’s earth-shattering strikes could truly harm the Red Demon. His defenses were impenetrable, his spear moving in a blur as it deflected their every attack. With each clash, his aura only seemed to grow more intense, a reminder of the vast difference in their strength.

The Red Demon was, without a doubt, the strongest individual Emery had ever faced. Each strike of his spear carried a weight that felt like mountains crashing down, multi-times heavier than anything Emery could deliver even in his Fey Paragon form. But the physical force was only part of the challenge—the flames that accompanied every attack were far more sinister.

Even as Emery’s body, with its monstrous resilience, managed to endure and regenerate from broken bones and torn muscles, the flames lingered. They seeped into his being, not only scorching his flesh but also invading his soul, sapping his strength with every passing second.

As the battle raged, the relentless assault and the suffocating aura of the Red Demon weighed heavily on everyone’s morale. Ten agonizing minutes had passed, and another pressing concern arose—the approaching elven forces. “We can’t stay on the defensive!” he shouted, his voice rough but determined. “We need a stronger attack!”

A quick mental link between the fighters set their desperate plan into motion. Major Kouga immediately stepped forward, his form brimming with frost energy. He unleashed a powerful freezing spell aimed at the Crimson Dragon. The spell spread like a creeping glacier, encasing parts of the massive beast in thick layers of enchanted ice. The brief pause Kouga created gave Grand Magus Archie the opening he needed. The elderly magus took a deep breath, clutching his sword tightly as he raised it high into the storm-filled sky. He began to chant, his voice deep and resonant, summoning the very power of the cosmos. Above him, dark clouds swirled ominously, charged with the electric fury of lightning.

One crackling bolt struck down from the heavens, slamming into his blade with a deafening roar. The energy surged through the magus, his aged body trembling under its sheer power. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, but his determination did not waver.

BAMM!!!… BAMM!!… BAM!!!… BAM!!!

With each thunderous strike, the cosmic energy intensified. The gathered lightning coiled and writhed around the blade, transforming it into a weapon of destruction. But the strain on Grand Magus Archie was clear. His breathing grew labored, and more blood spilled from his lips as his body bore the weight of the tribulation’s fury. BAAAAMMM!!!

The seventh strike descended like a bolt of tribulation lightning, the sword radiating an almost blinding brilliance that illuminated the battlefield. The intensity of the gathered energy was overwhelming, crackling in the air, and the ground beneath trembled violently,

[7 Heavenly Lightning Strike]

Despite the overwhelming power gathering against him, the Red Demon remained calm. His piercing crimson eyes glowed with unshakable confidence, and a faint, taunting smile curled on his lips.

“Come! Show me what you’ve got!”
