Cursed Immortality

Chapter 964 Rampage of Revenge! (2)

The ash-filled sky above the Demonic Fiend Fortress darkened even more at this moment as though the sky itself recoiled from Alexandraʼs wrath. Once an unshakable bastion of terror, the fortress began to rot as Chaos and Darkness spread like a living plague.

From atop the highest peak, the Fiends Kings instantly sense the changes in the laws because of their status as the Legendary Kings, and they are bewildered as if they witnessed a living nightmare.

Underwood Fiend King was dumbfounded by this sudden change of events; one moment ago, he was putting the Black King in his place, and the next moment, the entire fortress suddenly started to tremble before the laws began to change. He watched in horror as his empire seemed to be crumbling before his very eyes.

”W-w-who…W-what... what is this power?! Did we enrage the Demon God?!!!” one of the Fiend Kings stammered, his voice cracking with disbelief.

Right at this moment, ”The power of retribution…” Alexandraʼs chilling and godlike voice suddenly echoed across the entire Demonic Fiend Fortress.

Thereafter, from the depths of the Demonic Fiend Fortress, she hovered above the ruins, her body wreathed in darkness that distorted the surrounding space.

The fortressʼs advanced legendary-king rank defenses—enchanted barriers woven over millennia—shattered as if they were mere illusions. She was consuming them all.

Thousands of fiends perished in seconds.

The lower-ranked fell first, their bodies collapsing into ash as the darkness swallowed them whole. The lesser Fiends stood no chance. Their bodies melted into shadow, their souls twisted into nothingness.

Even the proud Fiend warriors, who had once feared nothing, trembled before the incoming darkness. Their powerful auras flickered, their very souls eroded by her presence.

The legendary Fiend Kings of the Evil Domain clearly sense the true horror of the spreading darkness as they could only watch in helpless horror while the chaos devoured their armies like a black hole.

But it was just the start of the next moment; a sudden tidal wave of Chaotic Darkness erupted from the center, swallowing entire legions of Fiends.

Standing atop the fortress, the Legendary Kings and the Underwood Fiend King finally snapped back to reality as he watched everything turning into nothingness.

Rage erupted within the King of Fiends before dread gripped his heart as his kingdom fell apart before his very eyes. His pride, his power—his very existence—was being erased by this woman whom he had caged like a pet.

Never in his dreams would he have imagined she was capable of something like this; he only thought she was special and wanted to turn her into his Queen, yet he had never thought he was just rearing a disaster right in his backyard!

Lastly, the unknown power emitting from that spreading darkness made Underwood tremble in fear, and his very being wanted to prostrate itself in front of it, the level of reverence as something he had never felt even towards the Demon God Altar!

The Legendary Kings, including the Black King, seemed to have already lost their minds as their eyes were empty, and they seemed to be drawn towards the source of darkness like a moth to the flame.

However, Underwood managed to keep his sanity by fueling it with his hatred and roared, ”STRUMPET!!! You dare?! You dare destroy everything I built?!”!!” his infernal might surge as he madly leaped toward the darkness; he had almost lost his mind, his fury outweighing his fear.

At this moment, within the sea of endless darkness, Alexandra turned her gaze to him the moment she heard that disgusting voice and the power surged even more violently.

The moment her gaze fell on him, in an instant, Underwoodʼs entire body convulsed in agony. His very soul felt as if it were being skinned alive, devoured by the endless abyss that pulsed around her.

A hint of clarity surfaced in his eyes. This was not the woman he had imprisoned. No, this was something far worse—an entity no longer belonged to mortal understanding.

But alas, it was already too late; Underwood crashed into the crumbling ground, blood leaking from his seven orifices. He could not move. Even he, the strongest Fiend King of immense power, was but an insect before the might of an Arcane Law.

Underwoodʼs vision blurred as the darkness crept in; for some reason, he could feel the darkness consuming his fortress, his army, and his very dreams of dominion. He knew he had lost everything within seconds, and the most ironic thing was that he had brought it all upon himself.

Hatred, unwillingness, and madness overcame his mind. He knew he was finished, but he was not going to die without doing anything!

At this moment, desperation twisted Underwoodʼs face into something monstrous. His empire—his kingdom—was being erased. There was only one path left.

”Oʼ Demon God of Hell! This lowly servant offers you everything! My soul! My blood! My power and the entire Faith and Souls of Fiends in the Legendary Plains! Annihilate this blasphemer woman who is about to devour your Altar!!” With a guttural roar, he plunged his claws into his own chest.

Dark crimson light erupted from his body as he invoked the ultimate sacrificial rite—offering his very soul to the Demon God Altar, hidden in a separate space!

The sky above the Demonic Fiend Fortress suddenly split open, revealing a scarlet runic altar that was bright like a bloody sun. The moment the hidden Demon God Altar, the very source of the Fiend Raceʼs prowess, revealed itself, the entire Evil Domain shuddered.

The next moment, the altar suddenly morphed into a colossal, infernal eye in the heavens, its gaze alone warping space. The sheer presence of the Demon God Altar changes the land beneath them, and the Fiend Kings suddenly snap back to reality and fall to their knees in awe and horror.

”Kill her! Take everything from her!” Underwood bellowed, his body disintegrating as his soul merged with the will of the altar, and he wasnʼt alone. The other Fiend Kings either willingly or unwillingly started to crumble into dust, just like Underwood.

The next moment, a titanic ethereal beam descended from the eye like an infernal pillar, the embodiment of unholy power, reaching for Alexandra with a force meant to erase her from existence.

For a moment, silence fell.

Then…hidden within the darkness, she smiled, and a whisper rang, and the darkness twisted before surging upward like a snake, colliding with the descending godly force. The impact shattered the space, creating a cataclysmic storm that swallowed everything in its path.

Underwoodʼs sacrifice had given birth to a nightmare—but it wasnʼt enough because Alexandraʼs power twisted around it and then started to devour even the will of the Demon God Altar.

Underwoodʼs essence, his final desperate gambit, was consumed in an instant. He had again helped her!

The Demonic Fiend Fortress, once an unshakable testament to the Fiend Raceʼs power, was now nothing but a shattered wasteland, its rulers humbled, its soldiers erased, and its very soul consumed by vengeance.

What remained was an endless abyss, an empty void. Alexandra had reduced it to nothing.

With one last glance at the destruction she had wrought, she whispered, ”This is only the beginning.”

Then, in a flash of black light, she vanished.

Only silence remained—a silence filled with the ghosts of a kingdom that once ruled with terror, now nothing but an abyss of darkness!
