Global Survival: Infinite Tower Defense

Chapter 17 The End of the Cataclysm

Chapter 17 The End of the Cataclysm
After killing the zombie king boss, there are still more than 1600 ”people” left in the ghost king army.

Lin Xuan let them move freely, let’s play jungle.

The ghoul’s lair is gone, so naturally there will be no more spawning of ghouls here, and you have to go to other areas to find monsters to fight.

The area around Yewu town seemed to have become Lin Xuan’s territory, and not a single ghoul could be seen.

After defeating the corpse king boss and destroying the lair, he got the title and other rewards.

First look at the effect of the title of the award.

[Acquire the Ghoul Curse, increase the blood recovery speed by 50 points per second, and when you die, you can automatically summon a ghoul substitute to resist a death attack for the player]

[The ghoul double can only appear once, and after appearing, the player will fall into reincarnation purgatory]

[Learn the Soul Slaying Art, permanently increase the player’s damage to all dark creatures, and the damage increase is 20%]

[Obtain the soul-stirring order, permanently reduce the damage caused by all dark creatures to the player, and the damage reduction rate is 10%]

[Reward 300 points of basic measurements attributes]

that’s all.

Among the effects given by this title, I don’t look at the others, but one is very important, and that is the ghoul double.

This is equivalent to giving the player an extra life.

In this cataclysmic world, everyone is trying to survive, and the threat of death exists all the time. If there is one more life, it is undoubtedly the best reward in this world.

After all, it can be resurrected.

only……

After the ghoul double appears, the player will fall into [Reincarnation Purgatory] What does it mean?
Lin Xuan thought about it for a long time, but he didn’t think it through.

But what we can know is that falling into [Reincarnation Purgatory] means that this is not a direct resurrection.

The corpse double can die for the player once, but the player will not be resurrected with full health on the spot, but will go to a place called [Reincarnation Purgatory].

It’s not clear what kind of place this is.

Is it hell?

Do you have to walk across the bridge of Naihe, drink Mengpo soup, go through reincarnation and be reincarnated as a human again?
Don’t know, only after trying to get the answer.

This [Reincarnation Purgatory] looks a bit mysterious, and it doesn’t seem like a good place, so it’s best not to try it.

As long as Lin Xuan doesn’t die, then this reincarnation purgatory has nothing to do with him.

With that halo, can he die? What a joke.

In addition to the title, the system also gave a huge reward.

The rewards are as follows:

[10 wealth value]

[A large number of common building materials, a small amount of rare building materials]

[partial design drawings]

[20 pieces of random equipment]

【Large amount of material】

that’s all.

Look at the equipment first.

Good guy, there are 19 pieces of equipment that are [D grade] equipment, and all of them are suits without exception.

There is another piece of [C-level] equipment called [Corpse King Shield].

After looking at the attributes, Lin Xuan was very satisfied, so he put it on without saying a word.

However, a scene appeared that made him dumbfounded.

The system gave him a reminder.

[As a son of the tower, you are not qualified to wear equipment, what do you think, little brother?Isn’t it good to be a tool person? You are just a humanoid pendant]

Ha ha.

”Shall I go to your uncle’s? Are you not allowed to wear any equipment?” Lin Xuan was stunned.

Are tool people so devoid of human rights?
These words... don’t hurt much, but they are very insulting.

I was stunned for a while.

Lin Xuan admitted it, otherwise what could he do?
”Then can it be worn on the defense tower?” Lin Xuan wanted to try.

As a result, it still didn’t work.

[Defense towers can only wear special accessories produced by resource towers, and cannot wear other equipment]

It’s not impossible to wear it, but the defense tower can only wear special accessories produced by the [Resource Tower], just like the [Sniper Rifle] can wear a scope.

So what is the use of this equipment?

Throw all your brains on the world trading platform and sell them, including materials.

As for the method of sale, Lin Xuan chose auction.

Because the equipment materials in his hands are not sold at all, they are too high-end and high-end. At the beginning of this cataclysmic century, they are all rare items. There is no reference price. He doesn’t know what price to sell.

Then it is very reasonable to auction the equipment in the way of bidding, let’s see who bids the highest price, and the one with the highest price wins.

Building materials and architectural drawings are temporarily unavailable because Lin Xuan did not build the main city.

Only after owning the main city can other buildings be built, and the method of obtaining the main city is currently known to be that killing the corpse king boss has a very low probability of dropping it.

It’s all about looks.

From this point of view, among the rewards given by the system, only 10 wealth points can be used by Lin Xuan. The rest can either be sold or cannot be used temporarily.

Still money is more real.

How to spend this money?Of course, it is the most cost-effective to upgrade the [Resource Tower].

Because Lin Xuan has no pressure to survive at all, there is no need to upgrade the attacking defense towers for the time being, and the [resource tower] should be upgraded first to get development going.

Upgrading the [Resource Tower] to the fourth level requires 4 wealth points. Lin Xuan upgraded directly, and the remaining money cannot be used and has to be saved.

[Diancan Cannon] This defense tower costs money every time it attacks, so Lin Xuan must have money in his hand to ensure that [Diancan Cannon] can fire at any time.

After upgrading the [Resource Tower], Lin Xuan had nothing to do.

Although the cataclysm had only started 5 days ago, for him, this time the invasion of cataclysmic creatures was over.

No cataclysmic creature could threaten Lin Xuan’s life.

In the next few days, all he has to do is to command the ghost king’s army to kill ghouls in the nearby area, get some drops and get some resources.

If you encounter a BOSS, then use [Diancang Cannon] to cooperate with the ghost king’s army to kill it.

After all, the number of bosses is small, and they are randomly refreshed all over the world. Lin Xuan may not be able to meet bosses here.

The days passed without any surprise or danger.

……

After 5 days.

[All corpse king bosses are killed, the attack of catastrophic creatures stops, and all cataclysmic creatures disappear]

[The world gets a one-week rest period]

[Open the first batch of mysterious areas, specific information can be queried on the system by yourself]

system hint.

The first wave of catastrophe in the cataclysmic world has passed.

This catastrophe can only be said to be an appetizer for all mankind, so that everyone can be familiar with what this so-called cataclysmic world looks like.

The first catastrophe, its survival difficulty is relatively not great, and there are not many catastrophic elements, mainly to give players an adaptation period.

Therefore, it only took 10 days for all human beings to survive this ghoul catastrophe.

Of course, although the difficulty of survival is only elementary, many people still lost their lives in this catastrophe.

Those who survived are considered to be people with certain abilities.

Lin Xuan stayed in a remote place, and he had never met anyone other than Hei Ling and his group, so he didn’t know the current situation of other humans.

Anyway, for him, the past few days, the life is as ordinary as water.

As the son of the tower, he didn’t dare to leave the defense tower too far, too far away, the defense tower could not be controlled.

So Lin Xuan has been active around the town for the past few days, and now, he can finally go out and have a look.

It just so happens that the mysterious area is open, so you can go out and explore.
