Chapter 7 Strange Woman

Chapter 7 Strange Woman

Dawn is approaching, the blood-colored night sky fades, and the sky is filled with dots of blue.

Contestant Lin held a dry piece of jerky, put it into his mouth and bit it vigorously, chewed for a while, and swallowed it with difficulty.

[A piece of dried meat abandoned after being gnawed by a ghoul, the taste is very bad, but it may be used to feed the hunger]

This is the introduction of this jerky.

After killing the ghoul, Lin Xuan got a lot of things, including dozens of pieces of jerky.

There are also some water resources, which are all turbid water, barely drinkable, but the taste is a bit strong, but it will not cause any major impact on the body.

Some are good to eat.

At four or five o’clock in the morning, Lin Xuan fell asleep for a while, but his sleep was not solid, and he woke up just after dawn.

In the small town, the piles of ghoul corpses had disappeared.

The system cleans up the corpses of invading creatures every 6 hours.

With [Jian Zong Sect Master] around, ghouls are completely unable to get close to Lin Xuan, they will die if they enter, and in the area of Yewu Town, the refresh rate of ghouls can no longer keep up with [Jian Zong Sect Master]’s attack speed. Kill the speed.

Therefore, the number of ghouls is getting smaller and smaller, and there will be gaps from time to time, that is, there are often no ghouls around the town.

[Ghoul’s Nightmare] Lin Xuan also successfully won this title, being the 36th person in the world to receive the title.

[Nightmare of ghouls, people with this title will increase the damage dealt to ghouls by 50%, and reduce the damage caused by ghouls to you by 50% 】

[Players with this title will get a map perception BUFF, allowing them to detect the location of ghoul lairs within ten kilometers]

[Once the ghoul lair is breached, a huge reward will be obtained, and the first 10 players who break through the ghoul lair will receive a limited title, lair destroyer]

[Friendly reminder, it is extremely difficult to break into the ghoul lair, and there is a BOSS near the lair, so it is recommended not to try it easily]

After receiving the title, Lin Xuan immediately inspected the nearby area, and found that there was a ghoul lair about three kilometers away from the town.

Lin Xuan had no intention of attacking this lair.

Now his biggest reliance is the [Sword Sect Master], and the [Sword Sect Master] cannot move, so he does not have the strength to attack the nest.

But fighting is a must, but now is not the time.

Lin Xuan intends to upgrade the [Undead Tower] to the third level before considering attacking the lair.

If you can successfully destroy the ghoul’s lair, you will be able to get a title that is limited to 10 in the world. This title can only be obtained by 10 people, which shows that its gold content must be very high.

Wait, save money first.

……

Two days later.

Two days without any surprises.

Two days later, Lin Xuan obtained two more defensive towers by using his father-calling skill.

A [Resource Tower] and a [Machine Tower].

[Resource Tower] looks like a granary. Its effect is that a certain amount of materials will be automatically produced every hour. What is produced is random, it may be money, it may be food, it may be various materials and energy etc.

[Mechanical Tower] is quite special, or the mechanical tower built by Lin Xuan belongs to a special category of mechanical towers.

The properties are as follows:
Type: [Mechanical Tower]

Name: [Sniper Rifle]

Level: [Elementary]

Attack: [300]

Defense: [5]

Blood value: 【100】

Attack speed: [2]

Attack distance: [500 meters]

Active skills: [Fixed-point sniping, you can select the target for headshot sniping, and this attack increases the attack distance by 1000 meters, the damage is increased by 3 times, and the CD time is 15 seconds]

The next level of growth: [Sniper Gun]

Upgrade cost: [500 wealth value]

Maximum Growth: [Annihilation]

that’s all.

This is a defense tower that can kill targets from a long distance. It is a single-target attack with high attack power, especially the fixed-point sniper skill, which can directly triple the critical strike and increase the attack distance by 1000 meters.

In addition, among the resources spawned from the [Resource Tower], there is also a scope, which is an accessory that can be installed on the [Sniper Rifle].

After installing it, the basic attack range will be increased by 500 meters, and the attack distance of fixed-point sniper will be increased to 3000 meters!
This means that this tower can attack targets as far as 3000 meters away.

Once the fixed-point sniper mode is turned on, the [Sniper Rifle] will provide a field of view of 3000 meters, which will be shared with Lin Xuan, and he can also see the environment within 3000 meters.

One word, cool.

[Undead Tower] has also been upgraded to level 3, and a large number of souls are stored inside. Lin Xuan can summon a large number of undead legions at any time.

It seems that it’s time to try to attack the lair, at least, go and have a look first.

This afternoon, the system cleaned up the corpses of the ghouls again. Just as Lin Xuan was about to summon the undead army to go out for a walk, he suddenly heard a cry for help.

It seemed to be coming from outside the town.

Lin Xuan immediately looked in the direction of the sound, only to see a woman with disheveled hair stumbling and running on the gravel road outside the town.

The woman also saw Lin Xuan, and she waved at Lin Xuan vigorously, then fell to the ground and remained motionless.

There are no ghouls around here. They were all killed by [Sword Sect Master] just now, and they haven’t refreshed to the next wave yet.

”There are really other people here?” Seeing this, Lin Xuan immediately ran towards the woman.

After three days, I finally saw other humans.

Lin Xuan quickly ran to the woman’s side and found that her clothes were in tatters and there were many ghoul scratches on her skin, but fortunately these injuries were not fatal.

”Hey, are you okay?” Lin Xuan hurriedly helped the woman up.

The woman’s breath was very weak, and she half-closed her eyes and whispered, ”Help... me.”

”It’s okay, I will save you, you are safe here.” Lin Xuan comforted softly, and at the same time looked away.

Because this woman’s clothes were torn apart, Lin Xuan was half-kneeling to support her. He felt that his eyes were flashing white, and he didn’t know where to look.

”Are you alone?” Lin Xuan turned his head and asked.

”Well... I... am alone.” The woman replied in a low voice.

A person...?

Lin Xuan suddenly realized that something was wrong.

If this woman was alone and had no other companions, how did she survive these three days? She looked very weak.

Doesn’t look like a person who can survive for three days independently? And just like her, how did she run to the vicinity of the small town?

Can such a person survive for three days?

Does she have a very special talent?
Just when Lin Xuan was going to continue to ask, to ask clearly, suddenly, the half-closed eyes of the woman in his arms opened suddenly, and there was a ruthlessness in the soft eyes!
”Bang!” She jumped up, twisted Lin Xuan’s arm with one hand, and bent her thigh to clamp Lin Xuan’s neck. Lin Xuan immediately felt that he could not breathe, and before he could cry out the pain, the woman stabbed him Chopped on the back of Lin Xuan’s neck.

Lin Xuan’s eyes darkened and he passed out.

The woman suddenly attacked Lin Xuan, but the defense towers in the town did not respond at all.

Because Lin Xuan ran out just now, and he has already left the attack range of [Master Jianzong].

Although the [Sniper Rifle] was within reach, Lin Xuan did not designate this woman as a hostile target, so the [Sniper Rifle] would not attack her.

[Tower of the Undead] Not to mention, Lin Xuan hasn’t summoned the undead yet.

”Humph, another one. Not bad, he’s still a handsome little brother, much cuter than those crooked melons and dates before.” The woman chuckled and looked at Lin Xuan’s face with an evil expression.

She licked her lips, took out a bottle of potion, opened Lin Xuan’s mouth and poured it into it.

After confirming that the medicine had flowed into Lin Xuan’s stomach, the woman raised Lin Xuan with one hand, carried it on her shoulder, and walked away from the town step by step.
