Global Survival: Infinite Tower Defense

Chapter 5 Undead vs. Ghouls

Chapter 5 Undead vs. Ghouls

[You have obtained the following three primary defense towers, please choose one of them]

One: [Mechanical Tower]

Two: [Undead Tower]

Three: [Resource Tower]

After using the calling father skill, three options popped up in front of Lin Xuan.

Although there are three towers, he can only choose one of them.

Let’s take a look at the basic information of these three towers first.

[Undead Tower, which can collect the souls of the dead and use the souls to create an army of undead]

[Mechanical towers, which can develop various black technologies and use various technologies exclusive to the catastrophic world to attack enemies]

[Resource Tower, which can provide various resources, including supplies]

Not much information, just a few words, but enough.

It stands to reason that Lin Xuan should give priority to the [Resource Tower], collect resources first, start development and productivity first, and then continue to develop others.

But the problem is, now he doesn’t have the capital to develop with peace of mind.

The knife is hanging above the head, and it may be brought on at any time, so where are the resources for development?
Live first.

You can only choose one of [Undead Tower] and [Mechanical Tower].

After a little thought, Lin Xuan decided to choose [Tower of the Undead] first.

Two reasons.

First, [Undead Tower] can collect the souls of the dead, that is to say, it can collect the souls of ghouls, and collecting souls can create an army of undead.

Now that a large number of ghouls have died, once the [Undead Tower] is built, it should be able to create a lot of undead, right?
The point is that these ghouls are infinitely refreshed, as long as enough ghouls can be killed and enough souls are available, then [Tower of the Dead] will have a lot of room to play.

Second, there are many people, so there is a sense of security, isn’t it?
Although the undead are not human beings, at least they belong to their own side, right?
There is a saying that goes well, when the enemy and the enemy confront each other, the most imposing one wins half first.

These hordes of ghouls gathered together and formed an army of ghouls, the number of which was innumerable, and Lin Xuan’s side was just two people, so they lost in momentum.

No matter how many, shake people first!
More than people, right? Then I want to see, in the end, is it because you have more ghouls, or my undead army has more people!
It’s up to you, [Tower of the Undead]!
[Successfully built the Tower of the Dead]

[The attributes of the undead tower are as follows]

Type: [Undead Tower]

Name: [Soul Shelter]

Level: [Elementary]

Attack: [none]

Defense: [50]

Blood value: 【1000】

Attack Speed: [None]

Attack distance: [none]

Active skills: [None]

Passive skill: [Soul Containment, can capture the soul of the dead within a radius of 100 meters centered on its own range]

Passive skill: [Soul Casting, when the number of collected souls exceeds 100, summon the undead army]

Passive skill: [Undead Apostle, currently only the Apostle Legion can be summoned]

The next level of growth: [Soul Lobby]

Upgrade cost: [500 wealth value]

Maximum growth: [Can be promoted to the Hall of the Dead]

Note: [When the Hall of the Undead and the Coffin of the Undead exist at the same time, the Hall of Hell can be built]

that’s all.

This [Undead Tower] seems to be more powerful than [Jianzong Disciple], because its upgrade cost is more expensive, and the first upgrade requires 500 wealth points.

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, expensive things are naturally expensive for a reason, and the only disadvantage of expensive things is that they are expensive.

It looks like a dark stone tablet. The stone tablet is about 5 meters high. The tablet is filled with some dark inscriptions that Lin Xuan cannot understand at all. Although he cannot read it, he can still feel the dark breath between the lines. , the abbreviation is unknown.

As soon as the [Undead Tower] was built, it immediately began to collect souls, and the souls of those ghouls who had been beheaded by [Jian Zong’s big disciple] immediately turned into clouds of black air and rose up.

In less than a moment, layers of souls like pitch-black clouds were floating above Lin Xuan’s head. These black gases penetrated into the stone tablet like monsters.

The inscriptions on the stone tablet began to emit a faint green light!
[The Tower of the Undead has collected 100 souls, do you want to summon the apostle of the undead? 】

”Do I still need to control this?” Lin Xuan was taken aback.

What are you waiting for?
”call!”

A dazzling glare erupted near the stele, and when the glare dissipated, an army of undead apostles appeared.

Not many, just 20.

These undead apostles look like corpses and skeletons, and their hands are all different. Some hold knives, some hold guns (cold weapons), some carry bows and arrows, and some hold a bullet. It’s a black magic ball, like a necromancer.

Looking at their attributes, they are uneven.

Basically, the attack power is between 50 and 100, and the defense power is generally high, above 30. The lowest blood value is 200 points, and the highest is 500 points.

What they have in common is that they are tall.

The shortest one is nearly two meters.

Judging from their combat attributes, their individual combat capabilities are stronger than ghouls.

As soon as the undead apostle appeared, the circle of fire immediately became more crowded.

But Lin Xuan immediately felt safe.

20 undead men stood in front of him, each ”person” was expressionless, and stared at the group of ghouls in the outer circle with a cold look of death, as if as long as Lin Xuan gave an order, they would He will rush out without hesitation and start a desperate fight with the group of ghouls!

No matter how many people there are, there will be no trace of fear in their eyes!
Just do it!
There are more than 200 souls in the [Undead Tower], and Lin Xuan can summon two legions of apostles, but he is useless for the time being.

Now that he is summoned, he can no longer stand in the circle of fire, so he has to be summoned outside, and then he has to face the ghoul head-on.

No hurry.

With the ring of fire, [Jianzong Great Disciple] can fight with long hands and short hands, and can attack ghouls without consumption. This advantage cannot be given up. Fight first, and if you don’t fight for nothing, you can fight head-on when all the firewood is burned out. .

Taking advantage of this time, [Tower of the Undead] can continue to collect souls.

Those undead apostles with bows and arrows can also draw bows and shoot arrows to attack the ghouls in the outer circle.

Everything, wait until the ring of fire is gone.

”Brother, can you lend me the saber at your waist?” Lin Xuan patted a nearly [-]-meter-tall undead in worn-out armor standing beside him.

The guy twisted his stiff neck and looked down at Lin Xuan.

Those eyes were hollow and cold.

”Bang!” The undead threw a huge long knife in his hand to the ground.

”No, no, not this one. I can’t handle this one, I mean the one on your waist.” Lin Xuan waved his hand hastily.

The long knife left by the undead was three meters long. The handle was thicker than Lin Xuan’s arm. It weighed an unknown amount. How could Lin Xuan afford it?

I can’t lift the knife at all.

What Lin Xuan wanted was the saber on the waist of the undead, which looked much smaller.

”Take it yourself.” The undead opened his mouth and said three words slowly.

”Fuck, you can speak human language?” Lin Xuan was stunned.

The undead did not continue to answer, but looked at the saber at his waist with a slightly complicated look.

When looking at the knife, the undead’s eyes were no longer empty, but showed some emotion?
If you read it right.

”Keng!” Lin Xuan took out the saber from his waist.

The knife is a good knife, exquisite workmanship and beautiful shape, but there is a gap on the edge.

This knife is not like a knife used to kill enemies.

On the handle of the knife, Lin Xuan saw a line of beautiful handwriting: ”Given by Zhang’s daughter.”

What does it mean?
Lin Xuan didn’t let Lin Xuan think too much. At this moment, the fire in the circle of fire had gradually weakened.

The group of ghouls that were painted as a prison outside the circle began to move around, and their throats began to let out bursts of sharp roars, like a group of hungry wolves waiting to eat!

At 10:[-], the fire was extinguished!
The open fire dissipates, and all light returns to darkness!
In the darkness, only the ferocious ghosts and monsters are left!

The group of ghouls roared in like a torrent that burst a dam!

Lin Xuan held up the saber in his hand, and shouted, ”Brothers, the enemy is coming, and it’s a matter of life and death, so let me charge you! Fuck his mother!”

Shouting this is not for anything else, just to embolden myself and ignite a passion for myself!
Because Lin Xuan didn’t know what would happen next.

Whether it is life or death is unknown.

Give it your all!

”Apostle of the dead, call!”

Two groups of undead apostles were summoned again.

Undead and ghoul collided immediately!
In the darkness, only the clanging of swords and swords could be heard, only the shadows of swords and lights could be seen, the sound of heavy beatings and the screams of ghouls could only be heard!

The undead army doesn’t know what death is, what pain is, they only attack and never retreat!

Death will not snort.

Lin Xuan led the undead army and [Jianzong’s great disciple], relying on each other, forming a defensive circle, stubbornly resisting waves of ghouls.

The night is getting deeper.
