Chapter 209 Surrounded (Happy New Year!)

Chapter 209 Surrounded (Happy New Year!)

The howitzer is too heavy, and it is limited by the rate of fire. In this kind of close combat, there may be a chance of survival with the saber.

Before he could slash with his sword, several vines had already hit Zhang Cheng.

Zhang Cheng was thrown upside down like a sandbag, and fell heavily to the ground.

Quickly getting up from the ground, Zhang Cheng found that his blood volume was still slow, but the shield value on his body had been almost emptied.

A few vines smelled that Zhang Cheng was still alive, and swam up quickly again.

Zhang Cheng dodged, then turned his head and slashed at a vine.

The bleeding special effect attached to the Saber Saber seems to be extremely lethal to this kind of vine man. After the vine man was hit by the jagged opening of the Saber Saber, a long gash suddenly appeared, and purple juice continued to flow from the wound flow out.

What’s even more strange is that the vine man that was cut by Zhang Cheng’s saber seemed to feel pain, and let out a sharp wailing sound from its mouth.

Zhang Cheng found that after he was hit with a knife, the damage he caused was converted into a shield of only about [-] points, and every time he was attacked by a vine man, it would cause him about [-] points of damage.

That is to say, every time Zhang Cheng was hurt, he had to make a corresponding cut in order to barely maintain his blood volume at a healthy level.

It’s fine if you’re one-on-one with a single spiked vine man, Zhang Cheng is sure that he can always stack his shield faster than the speed of the spiked vine man’s damage

But now Zhang Cheng is facing five spiked vines at the same time, which makes Zhang Cheng a little overwhelmed and stretched.

No matter which direction Zhang Cheng is guarding, there is always Tengman who can easily go around behind him, in the blind spot of his vision, and poke him in the dark.

Is there really no way to crack it?Waiting for the federal army to rescue yourself?
Zhang Cheng didn’t know what was going on with the federal defense line. He wasn’t sure if the federal army would be free to support him.

After all, he just saw it with his own eyes. The defense line in his area has been almost completely destroyed by the spiked vines. The destruction of other defense lines may not be much better than his own place.

Zhang Cheng’s heart sank for half a second. He was terrified by the big guy hiding behind the black cloud, but he didn’t expect that when the infected camp made a desperate move, it would directly push the Federation into danger.

To be honest, Zhang Cheng has never used a single resurrection coin so far, so he still has a chance to start over.

But what about the federal soldiers in front of them?Do they have a chance to come back again?
The strength of the Federation is supported by these fighters. Without the Federation Army, where can the survivors have a breathing home?

If the strength of the army is too severely damaged in this war, I am afraid that it will also greatly hinder the subsequent survival and development of the Federation.

While these thoughts flashed through Zhang Cheng’s mind, the five vines on the opposite side seemed to be a little stunned.

When Zhang Cheng hit them twice in succession, Zhang Cheng found that their movements obviously paused.

”Why is that?” Zhang Cheng was very puzzled. Since these spiked vines entered the battlefield, they have been extremely flexible and domineering. They have never been so stupefied.

I don’t know why the accident occurred, but from the current point of view, Zhang Cheng finally found a gap to breathe.

However, the good times didn’t last long, and these vines suddenly made another weird scream, which was different from the one that was cut by Zhang Cheng before. This time, the screams were made by five vines at the same time, and these screams There seems to be a different meaning in the sound.

After a few breaths, Zhang Chengcai realized that despair had just arrived.

I saw that the surrounding Tenmans all gave up their current attack targets and swam towards Zhang Cheng’s direction instead.

These spiky vines were walking on the ground or in the air, really like giant pythons, making Zhang Cheng’s hair stand on end.

Zhang Cheng didn’t have time to think about it, so he quickly took out a smoke bomb from his backpack and kept it under his feet.

Immediately, a thick smoke quickly diffused from the smoke bomb, and quickly shrouded Zhang Cheng’s figure in the mist.

Zhang Cheng wanted to use the concealment effect of smoke bombs to hide temporarily. For this kind of spiky vine without eyes, ordinary smoke bombs would of course not work.

Zhang Cheng judged that this plant-type infected creature is very strange, and it seems to have a unique way of sensing the smell of flesh and blood. I don’t know if it is based on the smell of animals to judge the direction.

The smoke bomb that Zhang Cheng threw not only had the effect of obscuring the line of sight, but also had a unique smell mixed in the thick smoke, which could well cover up the smell of human beings.

For many beasts or infected creatures that rely on their sense of smell to hunt down their enemies, this kind of smoke bomb can often work wonders.

Zhang Cheng is also a dead horse as a living horse doctor, and it was too much for him to deal with five spiked vines at the same time, but now all the spiked vines around him seemed to be staring at him, rushing in his direction Come over, let Zhang Cheng have no way out.

However, it is a pity that these fogs do not seem to be able to protect Zhang Cheng, and soon Tengman walked through the fog and found Zhang Cheng’s location accurately.

Obviously, these spiky vines do not capture enemies by sight and smell.

Now is not the time to be entangled in how the spiky vine man hunted down the enemy. Zhang Cheng did not give up struggling. No matter what the situation, he would not choose to sit and wait for death.

Even though there seemed to be no hope of escape, he was desperate to try.

”I fought with you!”

The saber was dancing wildly. Zhang Cheng didn’t need to deliberately choose the target. Anyway, there were such spiked vines all around him, and he could hit them even with a single stroke.

What made Zhang Cheng a little suspicious was that these spiked vines seemed to just want to trap him, but didn’t intend to kill him right away.

Layer after layer of spiked vines formed a huge cage, which locked Zhang Cheng tightly inside, leaving no gap for Zhang Cheng to escape.

Zhang Cheng’s mind flashed, he really couldn’t figure out why these tengmans made such weird moves.

The federal soldiers just now were directly killed by these vines without any reaction time. Why did these vines not rush to do it when they came to me?

Are they trying to capture themselves alive?

This idea made Zhang Cheng himself feel a little absurd. What is special about him? Why did they spend so much effort to capture him alive?
I am just an ordinary federal soldier...

Suddenly, Zhang Cheng’s eyes widened, as if he suddenly thought of something.
