Chapter 208 Terrorist Rivals

In the days that followed, the actions of the infection camp exceeded everyone’s expectations.

The infected camp completely abandoned the two resource maps of the polar ice sheet and the yellow sand desert, and gathered forces to launch a general attack on the defense line built by the Federation.

The players lived up to expectations and brought two resource maps into their pockets again. Since then, the Federation has included four resource maps into its territory.

However, corresponding to this, the federal front has been hit by unprecedented violence.

The soldiers on the defense line fell into a bitter battle, and the originally impregnable fortifications appeared precarious and crumbling under the frenzy of infection.

……

Zhang Cheng stood on the sentry tower and gritted his teeth. The battle had reached the most difficult stage. At this time, all the soldiers were exhausted, and even he was almost exhausted.

Suddenly, Zhang Cheng keenly felt that the sentry tower under his feet began to vibrate slightly.

Originally, the battlefield was filled with bursting explosion waves, and tremors were common, but Zhang Cheng felt that the tremors seemed a little different this time.

The tremors in the past should have been fleeting, but this time, the defensive tower under Zhang Cheng’s feet trembled continuously, and it felt like...

”It’s like something is about to come out of the ground!”

A look of surprise flashed in Zhang Cheng’s eyes. If it was what he thought, the damage to the Federation would be devastating.

It must not be a small character who can make the whole ground tremble under his feet.

Zhang Chenggang wanted to tell the federal commander his speculation, but before he could act, the tremor under his feet suddenly became more intense.

The defensive towers under his feet seemed to start to shake, Zhang Cheng was not paying attention, and almost staggered and fell to the ground.

Zhang Cheng barely stabilized his body. He quickly looked around, his eyes widened and his canthus were about to split.

I saw terrifying thick vines coming out of the ground, like giant pythons, entwined around the fortifications.

These vines are covered with long spikes, and each defense tower has at least two or three vines entwined around them. These vines seem to be very sensitive to the breath of flesh and blood, and the soldiers on the fortifications suddenly became these vines. Spiked Vine’s target.

The ordinary protective wall is like tofu dregs under the waving of these thick vines. It has almost no ability to stop the vines from advancing, and it is pushed down in an instant.

Some of the fortifications can remain the same under the entanglement of vines, while others are directly twisted into twists.

Just as he was thinking, a long spiked vine man lashed towards the position where Zhang Cheng was standing with the sound of howling wind. Zhang Cheng quickly recovered from the shocked state and rolled to the side.

The spiked vine man lashed the ground like a whip, and the floor of this fortification was immediately pierced.

Zhang Cheng’s eyelids twitched when he saw this scene. He knew that this was an enemy he couldn’t deal with.

Zhang Cheng spotted the entrance of the fortification and was about to rush out, but those spiked vines rushed up as if they had eyes, blocking the entrance of the defense tower.

This sudden blow caused extremely serious damage to the federal front. Zhang Cheng didn’t know what happened to other places, but only knew that the section of the defense line he was in was almost completely destroyed.

There are many fortifications built by Zhang Cheng himself in this area, and only he himself knows how strong these fortifications are.

After obtaining a large number of his well-designed fortification drawings from Angmar Architects, Zhang Cheng has a deeper understanding of the construction of fortifications.

In the construction of the fortifications this time, Zhang Cheng also applied many special defensive structures taught by Angmar. It stands to reason that these fortifications should be considered very rare among all architects.

However, it is difficult for such fortifications to survive the attacks of these underground vines.

Obviously, this is the terrorist existence in the infected camp.

Zhang Cheng aimed at a window for the soldiers to shoot, he sprinted to the side of the window and jumped down.

Hiding in the fortifications will be a dead end sooner or later, because the attack power of these spiked vines is too powerful, and if you want to rely on the fortifications to escape, you will only be caught in the urn.

After jumping out of the tall defense tower, Zhang Cheng fell heavily on the ground, ignoring the pain in his body, Zhang Cheng continued to roll to the side.

The next moment, a spiked vine man slammed into the ground, forming a deep hole.

Zhang Cheng is still wearing a [-]-point shield, which will be the biggest guarantee for his life.

In front of these thick vines, Zhang Cheng only felt that he was as small as an ant. The vines waving randomly in the air were like clouds blocking the sun, making people look up and unable to see the light.

As if feeling the comment of an ant below, a few sharp vines dancing wildly in the air stab down suddenly. The skin of the vines is purple red, and there is an opening full of fine teeth on its tip, like it The mouth is average.

There were still broken flesh and blood hanging on these vines, and Zhang Cheng knew that they came from other federal soldiers.

Running is definitely not enough to run against these spiked vines. Even though Zhang Cheng’s current bloodthirsty necklace has strengthened his running speed after advanced, these vines are like a whip, and he is just running on the ground. It’s hard to compare the two.

Zhang Cheng took out a howitzer and aimed it at the spiked vineman that was pulled out of his pocket. He used the bloodthirsty necklace to suck blood and transform into a shield. This was his last resort at the moment.

The howitzers exploded on these vines, but they could only deal a series of damages that were just over a thousand.

This is already a very low damage compared to the power of the howitzer, which also shows that these vines are not only amazing in attack power, but also impeccable in defense.

Each spiked vine seems to be an independent existence, with their own independent health bar.

After Zhang Cheng fired a howitzer, the damage to these vines was only equivalent to about a quarter of their total blood volume.

It means that if Zhang Cheng wants to kill any spiked vine man, he may need four or five howitzers.

The howitzer is not an automatic rifle, and its firing rate is at a certain interval. For the fast-attacking Spiky Tengman, Zhang Cheng doesn’t think he has a chance to fire four or five shots with the howitzer.

Zhang Cheng only had time to fire a shot, and the spiky vines had already approached Zhang Cheng.

Zhang Cheng knew that it was inappropriate to use the howitzer at this time, so he simply put the howitzer in his backpack and took out the saber instead.
