Chapter 206 Close Combat

Chapter 206 Close Combat
After all, this is the federal defense line. If Zhang Cheng uses howitzers for bombing, he is afraid that it will also cause considerable damage to the federal defense fortifications.

Moreover, there are still so many federal soldiers fighting with the rickets infected people in melee, it is difficult to avoid the problem of accidental injury with howitzers.

Apart from howitzers, Zhang Cheng didn’t have other weapons at his disposal.

With a move of his hand, Zhang Cheng has taken out the saber knife from the inventory and held it in his hand.

The long saber exuded a murderous aura in Zhang Cheng’s hands, and the teeth on the knife would allow Zhang Cheng to easily cut the skin of these infected people.

Zhang Cheng held the saber in his hands and walked lightly. He spotted a rickety infected person and rushed forward.

The infected person happened to be fighting with a federal soldier. Seeing that the soldier had already been beaten by the infected person with his saber, he was about to be ripped open by the infected person’s claws.

This is what Zhang Cheng felt in time. He jumped up from behind and aimed at the back of the rickety infected person.

The rickety infected person had already heard the movement behind him, but how could it be so easy to dodge Zhang Cheng’s ready attack.

The sound of a knife piercing into the flesh came out, and Zhang Cheng saw a red amount floating from the head of the rickety infected person.
-
4700!

The rickety infected person seemed to have despair and unwillingness in his eyes, and slowly fell to the ground, quickly turning into a pool of pitch-black rotting water.

”Gudu,” the federal soldier rescued by Zhang Cheng swallowed a mouthful of saliva, staring in disbelief at the rotten water transformed by the rickety infected person who was killed.

Although he had tried his best to cause some damage to the infected person before, he knew clearly that what he attacked was not the vital part of the infected person at all.

So the rickets infected person should still be in very good condition.

But it was such a crooked infected person who was close to its prime, who was chopped off by Zhang Cheng with a single knife?

It’s no wonder that this federal soldier was so surprised. After a short battle just now, the federal soldiers have already felt the strong strength of these rickety infected people.

Not to mention the fast speed, there is no time to aim a firearm at such a short distance.

Moreover, the offensive power of these black-skinned guys should not be underestimated. A person accidentally infected by rickets would almost lose half his life on the spot.

In just one moment of face-to-face confrontation, the federal fighters will be at a disadvantage.

However, Zhang Cheng’s action really lifted the spirits of the federal soldiers and regained their confidence from fear.

The Saber was originally an extremely powerful melee weapon, and its most special feature was that its firepower would increase with the user’s manor level.

Every time the player increases the manor level by one level, the weapon firepower of the Saber will increase a little.

Zhang Cheng is now in the eighth-level manor, and the firepower of the saber weapon he uses has reached as high as sixteen points.

You know, even a howitzer is nothing more than a nine-point weapon.

Zhan Saber itself has 125 points of attack power, plus Zhang Cheng’s own [-] points of attack power, plus the extra bonus of [-]% attack power of the Bloodthirsty Necklace, as well as some skill effects and halo buff gains , Let Zhang Cheng’s attack power reach a terrifying level of nearly three hundred!
The attack power of [-] is multiplied by [-] points of weapon firepower, even if there is no critical strike, there will be about [-] points of damage on paper.

If the damage is deepened, and attributes such as extra damage to infected creatures are also calculated, the damage value that the Saber can cause will be even more terrifying.

In other words, the ’enhanced ammunition’ cannot be triggered on melee weapons, otherwise Zhang Cheng would be able to use the saber to deal the highest damage in his career!

But even so, Zhang Cheng could easily generate more than [-] theoretical damage points after a critical strike, but considering the enemy’s armor value, this part of the damage would definitely be offset.

The Zhanma Sword also comes with special effects for bleeding attacks and armor-reducing attacks, which can not only suppress the enemy’s blood recovery speed, but also greatly reduce the enemy’s armor value.

The armor penetration effect in the entry of Saber Saber is a percentage of armor penetration, and the armor penetration value is as high as 20.00%. For monsters with extremely high armor, Saber Saber can be said to be the nemesis of natural enemies.

After Zhang Cheng killed the first rickety infected person with one knife, he kept looking for the next target.

After the bloodthirsty bat wing was in place on the bloodthirsty necklace, it gave Zhang Cheng a very high increase in movement speed, not only in combat or non-combat.

Among the skills of the battle sequence, there are many skills of melee warriors. In order to save alliance points, the average player will not learn the skills of warriors.

Firstly, melee combat is more dangerous. After all, resurrection coins are limited, so it’s better not to take risks yourself.

Secondly, melee weapons are more expensive. Without good melee weapons, you can’t deal high damage at all, so it’s better to continue to use firearms.

Infected creatures are constantly moving towards the federal defense line. If these rickety infected people who have rushed into the federal fortifications are not dealt with quickly, then the federation will become more passive in the next defense.

Fortunately, not all of these rickety infected people could break through the city wall and pass through the defense line at once. It didn’t take long for Zhang Cheng to kill all of these rickety infected people who invaded.

The federal line of defense temporarily stabilized, and the soldiers returned to their posts, continuing to tilt their firepower towards the advancing infected creatures.

Once interrupted by these rickety infected people, the situation on the battlefield has become quite unstable.

The main part of the infected tide is already very close to the federal defense line, and this large wave of infected creatures is not so easy to wipe out.

The first thing to deal with is those giant zombies. These big guys are simply weapons of war, capable of causing extremely terrifying destructive power on the battlefield.

Behind every giant zombie, there are one or several green bud toads that are constantly giving healing skills. If there is no way to reduce healing, it is very difficult to knock down these giant zombies.

Zhang Cheng’s blood pool energy is not worried about exhaustion in such a large-scale war. Zhang Cheng has activated the blood pool energy from the beginning to add bleeding effects to his attacks, but the blood pool energy has not decreased at all.

On the contrary, the energy in the blood pool tends to be more and more loaded, so Zhang Cheng doesn’t have to worry, the energy needed for rebirth from the blood will be insufficient.

Zhang Cheng used the Barrett sniper rifle to put bleeding effects on all the giant zombies one by one, and then replaced them with howitzers to start bombing.

After this period of delay for the Federation, even the giant zombies were almost within the range of howitzers.

Not to mention that there are other more dexterous infected people.

The large-scale explosion of the howitzer caused a lot of high damage.
