Brother Dao Took the Entertainment Industry by Storm, Fans Beg Me Not to Kill Anymore

The final episode of ”Blackbird” was filmed smoothly at the beach.

Although in the footage everyone appears to be chasing each other in boats at sea, they actually never sail more than a few dozen meters. They just circled around the shore to make it easier to film.

In one segment, Wei Dong was supposed to pull Chen Zihui onto the boat with one hand. Usually, Wei Dong would assist while Chen Zihui climbed up on his own. However, Xiao He pulled Zhang Zhelin up from the side of the boat in one go, which shocked Zhang Zhelin. Afterwards, he asked Xiao He, ”Are you really that strong?”

This could have been filmed in separate shots, and Zhang Zhelin had anticipated that his climb up might be a bit messy. However, he hadn’t expected that the moment Xiao He grabbed him, Zhang Zhelin would immediately feel a powerful force coming from that direction—

So, without any further pauses, Zhang Zhelin was pulled up by Xiao He in one go.

Zhang Zhelin:???

No, are young people these days really that strong?

Xiao He smiled shyly: ”I work out regularly.”

Zhang Zhelin glanced at Xiao He and said with a sigh, ”Come to think of it, we were actually like that when we were young...”

Youth, vitality... these are things that no longer belong to these old people.

Zhang Zhelin couldn’t help but feel a little sad that he had to use a stunt double for action scenes.

-

And so, Xiao He’s role in saving the day for the filming of ”Black Thrush” was successfully completed.

Zhang Zhelin and Du Yuebin still had a scene on the shore, so it would take a little more time. Therefore, Xiao He simply said hello to Director Gao first, and then went to find Sister Liu.

One advantage of wrapping up filming on this set is that there aren’t many people he knows well, so there aren’t many formalities involved in wrapping up. Basically, after finishing his work, he can just pack his things and leave.

As for sending flowers, having meals, holding banners, etc., they basically waived those requests.

It is said that Xiao He brought a team with him to the set, which was considered a big deal by the other crew members of ”The Blackbird”.

Note: This team only refers to one agent, one assistant, and one driver, a total of three people.

Everyone else was exceptionally relaxed, even big names like Zhang Zhelin and Du Yuebin came on their own.

Even the fishing boat they are currently using for filming was brought over by Mr. Du Yuebin himself.

Xiao He only learned about this situation from Xiao Chen after filming wrapped up.

Xiao He:...

Looking back at his own team, and then at the actors over there, he fell silent.

Compared to the grand displays of many people in mainland China, his personnel structure is truly quite low-key.

So, could it be that in these people’s eyes, he’s been acting like a big shot lately?

No way! He’s always had this team setup, who knew they’d be so relaxed here, not even bringing an assistant...

That’s really unfair.

Soon after, Xiao He met with Hu Pei, the director of ”Wandering Through Mountains and Rivers”.

By the time Zhang Zhelin and his colleague finished filming, it was around 4 p.m.

That is, the golden time of dusk.

This is the perfect time to go out and do some sea fishing before the sun completely sets.

Xiao He and Shu Han dressed up a bit for the camera, while Zhang Zhelin and Du Yuebin removed their makeup and came dressed in the clothes most commonly seen on fishermen.

After glancing at the brand-new gear the two had just bought, Du Yuebin exclaimed, ”Yo!” and asked, ”Are Xiao Xiao and Xiao Shu both newbies?”

These sets of equipment, well...

It’s similar to a wealthy newbie who doesn’t know what equipment to buy, so they simply buy the most expensive items instead of the right ones, focusing on having a complete set of equipment to impress others.

Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be all famous but superficial products.

He was a complete beginner, and before he had even started fishing, he had already been fleeced by the equipment he was using.

Therefore, upon seeing such a complete set of beginner fishing gear, both experienced anglers wore complex expressions.

I tried to understand, but failed to understand.

Liu Rulan, who was in charge of buying the equipment, looked embarrassed for the first time. She then explained, ”This is what they recommended after I went to their shop.”

Liu Rulan did ask some fishing enthusiasts she knew for recommendations on equipment, but when she got to the store, the staff recommended a bunch of things, and since Liu Rulan figured she might need some equipment to make the recording process more interesting, she bought them all.

No wonder.

Du Yuebin laughed and picked out two fishing rods from the messy equipment, then handed them to Xiao He and Shu Han respectively. Finally, he said earnestly, ”Actually, fishing is just for fun. There’s no need to pursue so much equipment. After all, whether you can catch fish or not doesn’t really have much to do with this stuff.”

”Some people, no matter how good their equipment is, can sit there all day and catch nothing, while others can have fish willingly taking the bait even when they’re hanging on a rope. How can people’s luck be so different?”

As Du Yuebin spoke, he began to sigh, perhaps because he remembered something, and the topic eventually veered towards metaphysics.

Although Xiao He had just finished filming a movie related to metaphysics and had read a lot of related knowledge, he still had a more scientific and rational way of thinking. He said very directly, ”I think it mainly depends on the weather and environment! In some places there are fish, and they will naturally take the bait. In some places there are no fish, and you won’t have a chance even if you wait all day.”

Upon hearing Xiao He’s arrogant words, Du Yuebin suddenly fell silent.

As Zhang Zhelin tidied his fishing gear, he glanced at Xiao He, seemingly wanting to say something but then stopping himself.

Xiao He’s current state is no different from that of a fisherman who was full of confidence before going fishing but always ended up empty-handed.

Although Shu Han had never fished before, he had witnessed the wails of other air force veterans. His gaze swept over the already turned-on camera, and he couldn’t help but nudge Xiao He with his elbow: ”Since we are both novices, let’s focus on learning and experiencing. Let’s just follow the two seniors and listen to their arrangements. We don’t need to think about anything else.”

Xiao He glanced at the camera that had already started recording, coughed lightly, and said nothing more.

The group then boarded the fishing boat again and officially set sail.

...

About an hour later, Xiao He looked at his empty bucket and then at his companions who had each made some gains. For the first time, he felt his rational worldview finally collapse at this moment.

”No, why?”

He was utterly devastated and put down his fishing rod. He walked around in disbelief and despairingly discovered that after being out at sea for so long, he was the only one who hadn’t caught a single fish!

The setting sun was gradually disappearing from the horizon, and the ocean, after being painted red, was gradually swallowed by darkness. The scenery before us was still breathtakingly beautiful.

But such a beautiful scene only served to highlight Xiao Hesheng’s expression of utter despair.

He couldn’t believe it; he was filled with grief and indignation; he wanted to cry but couldn’t.

Xiao He paced back and forth on the boat, finally looking at Director Hu Pei behind the camera.

Hu Pei, who felt he had successfully grasped the selling point of this recording, grinned behind the camera, seemingly already having a lot of topics flashing through his mind about Xiao He’s sea fishing but not catching a single fish.

Their show ”Wandering Through Mountains and Rivers” will definitely have a place on the next variety show trending list.

However, when he met Xiao He’s resentful gaze, he still managed to smile back, revealing a serious expression, and awkwardly put his hands on his hips, making a cheering gesture for Xiao He in the manner of a very middle-aged, greasy uncle.

Xiao He: ”...”

No!

This is definitely not his problem!

There isn’t a single fish in this sea!
