Brother Dao Took the Entertainment Industry by Storm, Fans Beg Me Not to Kill Anymore

Over the next few days, Xiao He went to meet the main creative team of ”Fast Speed Shadow 7” and coordinated with them on promotional efforts.

Perhaps because the street shooting from last time had generated considerable traffic, this time the production team also adopted a similar promotional approach—

Driving sports cars on a parade tour through the streets!

To put it simply, they would drive through several popular city centers, with long streamers and banners trailing behind the cars, carrying out a large-scale promotional campaign across these cities.

Honestly, whoever came up with such a distinctive and flamboyant promotional method was a real genius.

It perfectly aligned with the film theme of ”Fast Speed Shadow 7.”

Xiao He’s eyes lit up immediately.

It had been quite a while since he’d last gotten behind the wheel of a race car.

Lately, he had been constantly shuttling between several cities, with no time to properly participate in or enjoy any related activities. Now, being suddenly handed this assignment, it actually felt pretty great.

”By the way, we’ve also invited several well-known street photographers to film on-site. We’ll mark out the activity range for you in advance, and you’ll just follow the designated route at that time.”So, upon hearing Secretary James’s arrangements, Xiao He agreed without the slightest hesitation.

Mr. James had always maintained a very good attitude toward Xiao He’s side.

He personally handled almost every communication regarding activities, and as Director Tannis’s most trusted secretary, his attitude often reflected that of the director himself.

Being able to maintain goodwill toward them under the current circumstances truly made the director someone worth collaborating with.

Naturally, Xiao He responded with an extremely positive attitude, earnestly nodding as he looked at the detailed map James pointed out.

At the same time, he didn’t forget to glance back at his assistant, Xiao Chen, who was craning his neck to look around, and suggested to James, ”By the way, my assistant has also been learning photography. Could he tag along with your photographers? Just take some shots on the street. Then our studio can use them for promotion back home.”

”Huh? Me?”

Xiao Chen sucked in a breath of cold air, never expecting that Brother Xiao would think of him during such a serious discussion. He felt both surprised and nervous, worried about affecting Brother Xiao’s work, and immediately raised his hand to refuse. ”I-I’d better not—”

However, for James, this was just a trivial matter. Having one more photographer or one less made no difference at all.

So without even glancing at Xiao Chen, he simply nodded in agreement. ”Fine. Did you guys rent a car here? Then just follow behind our photographers’ car at that time.”

He also took the opportunity to extend an invitation to Liu Rulan, who was standing nearby. ”Manager Liu, if you have time, you should come watch too. I guarantee this will be the grandest promotional event in all of America! But you’ll need to get to the venue early to snag a good spot, because I can’t guarantee you’ll be able to push your way through the enthusiastic crowds of fans once they show up.”

As he spoke, he looked at Xiao He with a smile. ”After all, Xiao is no longer the Xiao he used to be. He has quite a bit of name recognition across all of Europe and America. Although this activity is just a parade—we won’t be staying in one place for too long—if Xiao’s passionate fans find out, they’ll definitely rush over and surround him!”

It was a good thing the main purpose this time was driving and pulling banners. If they actually had Xiao He walk down the street, the production team would really need to send extra hands to deal with his fans.

Liu Rulan pursed her lips and smiled. ”Sure, thank you for the invitation, Mr. James. I’d love to witness my artist’s impressive performance once again!”

And so, everyone’s itineraries were officially set.

During the promotional period, Xiao He would join the other important actors from ”Fast Speed Shadow 7” to form a luxurious motorcade for the parade.

As for Xiao Chen, Lao Qi, and Sister Liu, who had come with Xiao He this time, they would drive their own car to the venue in advance and follow the photography team to their designated spots.

Right before departure, Xiao Chen shuffled awkwardly and made a promise to Xiao He. ”Brother Xiao, thank you for the recommendation! Don’t worry! I guarantee I’ll capture something amazing for you! It’ll blow up the domestic entertainment industry!”

Xiao He found it a bit amusing and reached out to pat Xiao Chen on the shoulder. ”Go for it!”

Although things had been busy lately, he knew Xiao Chen hadn’t given up on professional study and training.

So Xiao He believed Xiao Chen could handle this job successfully.

Liu Rulan, already seated in the car, chimed in with a teasing remark. ”You better shoot well! If it turns out great, from now on you’ll be our team’s photographer and assistant combined, and we’ll give you a fat raise!”

Hearing that a raise was on the line, Xiao Chen’s heart swelled with ambition. He immediately stood up straight, legs together, chest out, head held high, and gave a respectful salute. ”I guarantee I’ll get the job done!”

Then, carrying his bags of photography equipment, he excitedly hopped into the car and started urging Lao Qi. ”Brother Qi, hurry, hurry, let’s go first! I need to find a good spot quickly.”

Lao Qi let out a helpless chuckle and good-naturedly started the engine.

Liu Rulan, sitting in the back seat, didn’t forget to give one last piece of advice. ”So far, none of the main cast of ’Fast Speed Shadow 7’ seem to have any major public opinion crises. Just get along normally—no need to get too close. Be careful driving on the road. If you get surrounded by fans, don’t let your excitement get the better of you and just peel out. That would be way too rude.”

Xiao He broke out in a cold sweat. ”What do you mean ’peel out and run’? Is that even a matter of politeness?”

Besides, he was in a car—how could he possibly get surrounded by fans?

And honestly, the production team was being pretty reckless like this. They’d probably only focus on filming the cars and wouldn’t get any shots of the people in them at all!

Liu Rulan let out a giggle and casually waved her hand. ”We’re off! Take care of yourself!”

Then the car gradually pulled away.

Xiao He stood there, looking quite helpless.

Just then, a beautiful woman in high-waisted butterfly-knot T-shirt and short denim jeans walked over.

”Xiao, the motorcade is here! Come take a look and see if your car has any issues!”

The sweetheart who spoke was none other than Hollywood actress Liya.

She played the male lead’s wife in ”Fast Speed Shadow 7,” essentially the female lead. Xiao He had briefly interacted with her before while filming content for the movie.

Back then, she already held him in high regard. Now, after a year apart, Xiao He’s status had soared once more, making her attitude toward him even more enthusiastic.

Of course, this enthusiasm wasn’t the kind of sycophancy driven by some ulterior motive. Instead, it was a frank, bold, and carefree straightforwardness that even Xiao He found hard to handle.

”Here’s your car key!”

She tossed the key to Xiao He, her eyes curving into a bright, hearty smile. ”So, as a favor for me fetching your key, how about taking me out for a solo spin once the event is over?”
