Brother Dao Took the Entertainment Industry by Storm, Fans Beg Me Not to Kill Anymore

The scorching sun blazed down, and the murderous atmosphere that filled the sky even scattered the remaining clouds, leaving only an increasingly intense restlessness.

The soldiers of both armies lined up in formation, their armor’s cold gleam reflecting the blazing sun, the atmosphere so heavy it was suffocating.

The young general, clad in silver armor and riding a tall warhorse, sat upright with a steady expression. His gaze swept calmly across the pitch-black enemy ranks opposite him, showing not a shred of fear toward the threat before him. Instead, it ignited even more fighting spirit within him, and his entire being radiated the chilling aura of a seasoned battlefield veteran.

With one fluid motion, he spun the long spear in his hand, whipping out a perfect circle of light, then stopped the spear in a provocative gesture, pointing it directly at the enemy general. His voice was loud and clear, carrying the boldness and pride of a young man who feared nothing, echoing across the front lines: ”You have raised your army to invade, disturbing our lands and harming our people. Today, I will make sure you come but never leave!”

From the enemy ranks, a burly general spurred his horse forward. His face twisted into a ferocious grin as he laughed heartily, showing no regard at all for the young commander. In a hoarse voice, he let out a beast-like roar:

”Arrogant brat, shut your mouth! Today, my army will trample your formation and take your head!”

As his words fell, the enemy troops erupted in clamor, the clashing of weapons ringing out endlessly.

The cold gleam in Qin Zhuo’s eyes grew sharper, but the corners of his lips curled into a mocking smile. He lightly tugged the reins, and his fine steed reared its head with a long neigh. Then, he issued a loud command: ”Warriors, protect our homeland! Follow me to face the enemy!”

His soldiers responded in unison, their voices shaking the clouds as they raised their weapons high. Their warhorses charged forward, carrying an unstoppable murderous intent, straight toward the enemy camp!

Seeing this, the enemy general bellowed in rage, swung his sword, and pointed it at Qin Zhuo: ”Kill!”With the battle cry from both commanders, wind and sand whipped up, murderous intent filled the air, and the soldiers clashed instantly. The scene turned into a massive meat grinder, with blood and severed limbs flying everywhere. A grand, unprecedented war had begun!

-

His long spear shot out like a flash, straight toward the nearest enemy soldier. Before the soldier could even react, the cold, gleaming spear had already pierced through his throat, blood gushing out!

Qin Zhuo’s expression remained unchanged as he twisted his wrist, letting the spear drag arcs of splattering blood that stained his silver armor as it flew out. The soldier fell to the ground with a thud, completely lifeless.

The enemy troops behind surged forward, their blades hacking at him all at once. Yet, they failed to so much as startle Qin Zhuo or his warhorse. The fierce, murderous young general merely glanced sideways, maneuvering his horse with swift, tiger-like agility. With a clean, sweeping strike of his spear, two or three more enemy soldiers had their throats slashed, their screams dying in their throats as they became corpses.

In the span of just a few breaths, a small mountain of enemy bodies had piled up before him. The remaining enemies, still alive, stared at him in sheer terror, as if they had seen the King of Hell incarnate. Their movements as they surrounded Qin Zhuo became hesitant.

But Qin Zhuo just looked down at them from his elevated position, his eyes devoid of any pity. He simply urged his warhorse forward with a squeeze of his legs, made it rear up and leap, nimbly clearing the mountain of corpses on the ground. Then, with another deft swing of his spear, he stabbed through an enemy soldier’s abdomen, using the momentum to fling the body away, knocking down an archer trying to ambush him from the side.

In just a few breaths, he had once again carved out a bloody clearing around him!

From a distance, the enemy general, seeing this, was beside himself with rage. He charged forward on his horse, swinging his blade straight for Qin Zhuo’s face. The knife’s wind was fierce, mixed with the stench of blood from other corpses, as he vowed to cut Qin Zhuo down!

Facing such an onslaught, Qin Zhuo remained unflustered. He spun his spear with both hands, turned it horizontally to block, and twisted his body into a defensive stance. Then, their metal weapons clashed, producing a harsh, grating sound. The long spear in Qin Zhuo’s hand vibrated with a humming noise, and his warhorse was pushed back a few steps.

But without any pause, Qin Zhuo arched his back, using the strength in his waist to power his next move. He spun his spear again and, at an unexpected angle, thrust it like a swift dragon into the enemy general’s left shoulder blade.

The enemy general instantly cried out in pain and tried to swing his blade in a counterattack.

But Qin Zhuo would not give his enemy any chance to catch his breath!

A fierce glint flashed in his eyes as he applied force with his wrist, driving the spear in even deeper. Then, gripping it with both hands, he violently pried upward, the spearhead tearing through the armor on the enemy general’s left shoulder. The skin, flesh, and blood of his left shoulder splattered to the ground!

In the next instant, Qin Zhuo applied force again, pulling the reins to turn his horse. His warhorse seemed to have a mind of its own, calmly turning to cooperate with its master’s attacking motion.

So, when Qin Zhuo thrust his spear out once more, the weapon precisely pierced through the gaps in the enemy general’s flawed armor, entering from the left side and stabbing straight into his heart!

”Pfft!”

A dull, muffled sound rang out as the spear pierced the flesh. However, amidst the chaotic battlefield filled with the roars of battle, no one paid attention to such a quiet passing of a life.

The once-fierce general stared with wide, furious eyes. The massive blade he had been raising to swing slowly drooped. The light in his eyes gradually faded, and his tall, powerful body slumped weakly onto Qin Zhuo’s spear.

A fierce general on the enemy’s side had been brought down by Qin Zhuo in just two moves. And so, his story ended tragically, his life completely snuffed out.

What a shocking and awe-inspiring feat of battle!

Yet, such an achievement was utterly insignificant in Qin Zhuo’s eyes.

The young general merely pulled his spear back, watching coldly as the corpse tumbled off the horse. Then, with a flick of his wrist, the blood on the spear was instantly shaken off, leaving it gleaming and sharp again, as if it had never taken a life. Only the blood-soaked battle armor on his body bore witness to the savagery and brutality of the fight that had just occurred.

But he paid it no mind. His gaze calmly swept over the remaining enemy troops on the battlefield, and he shouted in a loud voice: ”Their general is dead! Anyone who resists will be killed without mercy!”

As his words fell, his own soldiers’ morale soared, and they echoed in unison: ”Death to those who resist! Surrender and live! Lay down your weapons now!”

Their battle cry shook heaven and earth at that moment. Even the sky seemed to change color, shrouding itself in a veil of gloom!

This war scene was, after Emperor Chen’s Coronation Ceremony, the largest in scale, involved the most people, and was the most difficult to film. It was also equally crucial.

Xiao He was under the most intense scrutiny. From the moment he opened his eyes, it was nothing but practice. From constantly getting hit on the head by the prop spear to being able to cleanly execute a spear flourish, it took Xiao He less than a day.

He even made the fight coordinator tear up.

But that wasn’t the most important part.

The crew on set could actually be coordinated. After repeated rehearsals and instructions, the extras on set could basically understand the situation and know how to act.

However, on set, besides the people, there were also animals.

—Specifically, the warhorses.

You see, the languages of humans and animals are not the same.

Some things can be communicated to a person, but not necessarily to a horse!
