Chapter 349: Ultra-precision machine tools?
Chapter 349 Ultra-precision machine tools?

January 22, 2006, this is the third day of the release of the Hantang S2 mobile phone.

”Boss, this is the latest situation of the Hantang S2 mobile phone.”

At this time, Chen He came to Lin Xuan with a document.

”Ok.”

Lin Xuan nodded slightly, took the document and looked at the contents.

”As of this morning, a total of 470,000 have been sold.”

”That’s right, boss, the Hantang S2 mobile phone has not been developed for a long time, and the reserved production capacity is only 300,000 units, and it failed to sell 1 million units on the first day. I have to say that it is a pity.

If we release half a month later, it is really possible to create the miracle of selling 1 million units on the first day. After all, our Hantang S2 mobile phone has this strength. ”

Hearing Chen He’s words, Lin Xuan nodded slightly.

Because the facts are indeed as Chen He said, if Hantang Technology had stockpiled 1 million Hantang S2 mobile phones at that time, it would really be a miracle to sell 1 million units on the first day!

Because the 300,000 Hantang S2 mobile phones in reserve that day were all sold out, and the cumulative orders in physical stores and online shopping platforms reached 3.2 million units!

Faced with the need to pay 500 yuan to place an order, these people who spend money to place an order naturally do not want to play games boringly.

So these 3.2 million are people who really want to buy Hantang S2 mobile phones!

Faced with the 3.2 million orders, it would be too easy to sell 1 million units on the first day.

However, how much it sells on the first day is just irrelevant, because the success of a product depends on the subsequent sales after all.

So although Hantang Technology could not achieve the achievement of shocking the world by selling 1 million mobile phones on the first day, it is also a gratifying result to receive orders for 3.2 million units.

”What is our order volume? How many mobile phones can we produce every day?”

Lin Xuan asked the next question.

Hearing this, Chen He straightened his face, then checked his work notebook, carefully looked at the data on it and said:

”Currently, we have received orders for 3.2 million Hantang S2 phones, and we can ship 120,000 Hantang S2 mobile phones every day. It is estimated that it will take 26 days to meet these 3.2 million mobile phone orders.

However, according to the current incremental speed of Hantang S2 mobile phone orders, I am afraid that it will not be an easy task to meet the order demand in the future. ”

Hearing this, Lin Xuan nodded slightly, and had a certain understanding of the current mobile phone sales. Then he thought of another question in an instant, so he asked with a smile:

”What is the current output of computers?!”

Hantang Technology’s 45nm process technology has only so much production capacity, and the mobile phone needs 45nm chips, so the computer side will inevitably reduce production capacity.

”At present, the output of our Hantang computers has been forced to drop from 120,000 to 90,000 per day.”

Chen He expressed a helpless reality, because mobile phones compete for the production capacity of 45nm process chips.

The computer shipments will inevitably decline, and this decline is a huge amount of money!

”Can an average of 4 Hantang S2 mobile phones be produced by reducing the shipment of one computer?”

Lin Xuan slowly said an exchange ratio between a computer and a mobile phone.

The computer’s CPU, graphics card, memory, motherboard chipset chips, etc. all need to use chips with a 45-nanometer process technology.

The mobile phone’s Hanfeng III chips, mobile phone storage memory, RAM running memory, etc. also require 45nm process chips, but compared with mobile phones, computers need much more chips than mobile phones.

So on average, Hantang Technology can produce 4 Hantang S2 mobile phones for every reduction in the output of one computer.

”It’s a pity that Hantang Technology’s chip production capacity is insufficient to meet the needs of computer chips and mobile phone chips at the same time. This is really a great pity.”

Thinking of this, Lin Xuan sighed, feeling a little regretful.

However, there is no way to do this. With so much production capacity, if you want to solve it, you can only build a new chip factory to fundamentally solve the demand for chips.

”Chen He, reduce the computer shipments to 70,000 units, and transfer all the remaining production capacity to the production of Hantang S2 mobile phones.”

After doing this, it is equivalent to 50,000 units of the total production capacity of 120,000 computers for Hantang S2 mobile phones.

The 50,000 computer production capacity is all used to manufacture Hantang S2 mobile phones, so 200,000 mobile phones can be manufactured every day, and 200,000 units per month is 6 million units in a month!

After doing this, Hantang Technology can swallow the order of 3.2 million mobile phones in 15 days!

Swallowing these 3.2 million units, plus the 470,000 units that have already been sold, Hantang Technology can earn 800 million US dollars!

The so-called money is easy to do things. With money, Hantang Technology can use the ”money ability” to speed up the landing of chip factories.

After using the powerful ”banknote ability”, perhaps the chip factory that was originally expected to take half a year to build will only take 3 or 4 months to complete in the end!

After all, if you have money, you can hire more high-level workers to do things at the same time, instead of waiting for a level 8 worker to finish one part before making the next part.

Thinking of this, Lin Xuan couldn’t help feeling:

”Maybe our Hantang Technology should enter the field of ultra-precision machine tools.”

Chen He was slightly taken aback when he heard Lin Xuan suddenly change the subject, then nodded slightly, his eyes full of approval.

Indeed, the production capacity of high-precision machine parts of Hantang Technology is very poor, it can be said that it is almost equal to no!

Hantang Technology can manufacture ultra-high-precision equipment such as lithography machines and etching machines, all thanks to the support of big bosses.

It allows Hantang Technology to indirectly borrow the power of level 8 and level 9 workers from other state-run or digital military-owned factories, and finally process ultra-precision parts by hand!

The consequence of this is that not only a huge amount of money needs to be paid, but also the efficiency is too low. After all, how can the speed of manual processing be comparable to that of machines.

And those level 8 workers and level 9 workers have their own tasks. Hantang Technology asks the boss to process the parts, it is really a low voice!

In this case, Hantang Technology does need the ability to process ultra-precision parts, but it is not easy to achieve this.

Because there is one thing that hinders the development of Han and Tang science and technology, and this thing is the material!

This material can be divided into the material that makes up the machine and the daily loss metal material of the cutter head.

Among them, whether it is the materials that make up the machine or the daily loss metal materials such as cutter heads, Daxia is seriously behind.

And what Hantang Technology is facing is not just the problem of the loss of metal materials for machines and cutter heads.

Ultra-precision machine tools can process ultra-precision parts, but those ultra-precision parts themselves also need special material metal!

In this case, it can be clearly seen that the backwardness of special materials and metal materials seriously restricts the development of ultra-precision machines!

But it is not so easy to research all kinds of special materials and special metal materials, because this is the fundamental background of a strong country!
