Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 317: Cobalt Interconnect Technology!
Chapter 317 Cobalt Interconnect Technology!

After all, heat is the enemy of the CPU processor. If the temperature is high, the processor will automatically reduce the frequency, otherwise it will burn the processor. ”

Hearing what Lin Xuan said, the people at the scene looked at Lin Xuan curiously.

I don’t know how Hantang Technology solves the problem of putting so many cores in a small chip, and then let them jointly exert high performance.

“Our solution was to use larger multi-tube radiators with cobalt interconnects, and AI-assisted design!”

”Larger heatsinks with cobalt interconnects and using AI-aided design?”

At this time, tens of thousands of guests on the scene looked at Lin Xuan on the stage, and they all showed curious eyes.

Regarding this, Lin Xuan did not keep them waiting for too long.

I saw Lin Xuan lightly clicked the remote control in his hand, and then a picture of a multi-tube air-cooled radiator appeared on the projection screen behind him.

If future generations see this radiator, they will exclaim, ”Isn’t this a Limin FS-140 air-cooled radiator?!”

In fact, this is indeed the case. Lin Xuan directly ”copied” this radiator and used it.

After all, this radiator of later generations can even withstand the high temperature of A.M.D5600X, and it can also overclock stably.

Even the 5800X, which is known as a large heat accumulator, can hold steady pressure, which shows that the design of this radiator is excellent, so Lin Xuan also directly copied the later Limin FS-140 air-cooled radiator, and asked him to Suppress your own Hantang processor!

Anyway, he also used this air-cooled radiator in his previous life, and he is very clear about its structure, so he can use it directly.

Of course, the facts proved that this radiator is really good, even the 4.7GHz 8-core 5800X processor of later generations can be easily suppressed, and Hantang Technology’s six-core processor is naturally no problem.

According to the internal staff tests of Hantang Technology, even if the 6-core processor of Hantang Technology reaches a frequency of 5.1GHz, this radiator designed and developed by Lin Xuan can easily hold it!

”As you can see, our Hantang Technology is different from some processor companies, we definitely provide enough heat dissipation!

In the Hantang A7 processor, we use the Hantang FS-140 radiator.

Hantang FS-140 radiator has a 140MM super fan and 8 tube cooling pipes!

According to our internal test of Hantang Technology, even when overclocking to 5.1GHz, it can be stable and stable!

Of course we don’t recommend overclocking like that, because if the overclocking is broken, we won’t provide warranty!

As for our other two processors, Hantang A5 and Hantang A3 processors use Hantang FS-120 radiator.

The difference between this Hantang FS-120 radiator and the former is that it only has a big 120MM fan!

Although the 120MM fan is 20MM smaller than the 140MM fan, its cooling capacity is not small. Even if it is overclocked to 4.9G, it can still easily stabilize the voltage! ”

Looking at the guests nodding slightly and the ugly face of Paul Olds, Lin Xuan slowly said the next technique:

”The next thing is the artificial intelligence-assisted design technology I just mentioned. Through artificial intelligence-assisted design, our chips can be arranged more reasonably and the heat dissipation can be more uniform.

As for the last one is the cobalt interconnection technology, and the cobalt interconnection technology, as the name implies, uses cobalt metal to replace copper metal! ”

”Cobalt interconnect technology?”

People at this time heard Lin Xuan’s words, and they showed curious expressions. They didn’t know the benefits of this cobalt interconnection technology that can replace copper interconnection technology.

In fact, the cobalt interconnection technology was not Lin Xuan’s first creation. In the previous life, when Intel was developing a process technology below 10 nanometers, it was planning to use cobalt interconnection technology to replace copper interconnection technology.

However, because cobalt interconnection technology is a new technology compared with copper interconnection technology, cobalt and copper are two different metals after all, so cobalt interconnection technology has obtained good test results in the laboratory environment.

But in fact, in the process of mass production, it encountered a bitter fruit that caused Intel a headache.

When this bitter fruit came out, it simply blocked Intel from entering the road below the 10nm process technology, and it could not overcome the mass production problem of 10nm for several years.

It can be said that the cobalt interconnection technology has successfully cheated Intel, causing Intel to spend a lot of money but did not receive good results.

The reason for blocking them is that the cobalt interconnect technology process is too complicated, and it is very difficult to mass produce, so the cobalt interconnect technology blocked Intel for several years, wasting a lot of dollars.

But the difficulty is not a problem for Hantang Technology or for Lin Xuan.

Because Lin Xuan has the space for copycats!

In the cottage space, he can copy and refresh products and all equipment in the world, and the research cost is equal to 0!

So the Shanzhai space plus Lin Xuan’s knowledge, the problem that Intel couldn’t solve in the previous life, is not a problem that Lin Xuan can’t solve!

There is actually a reason why Intel used the metal cobalt to replace copper in the previous life. After all, Intel is the king of the CPU industry.

They don’t spend a lot of money doing meaningless things, so the metal cobalt must have good properties on CPU semiconductors.

That’s why they resolutely spent a huge amount of money to develop this cobalt interconnection technology, and they worked on it for several years, until they saw that others had already conquered 7nm and 5nm during this period.

Intel regretted wanting to discard the cobalt interconnection technology, abandoning the huge investment in the past and wanting to use other technologies...

”Cobalt interconnect technology?!”

The audience at the scene looked puzzled. They didn’t know what cobalt interconnection technology is, but they knew copper interconnection technology.

After all, Su Ma was at IBM and successfully developed the copper interconnection technology for IBM, which directly increased the performance of the global CPU by 30%.

It can be said that by virtue of this, copper interconnection technology is world-renowned.

”Cobalt interconnect technology?”

At this time, Paul Odess looked solemn, because he was not long after he became the fifth president of Intel Corporation.

An Intel researcher once came to sell cobalt interconnection technology to him. But Paul Olds didn’t pay attention at that time, and instead dismissed the researcher.

After all, there is already copper interconnection technology, so why spend a huge amount of money to study cobalt interconnection technology, it is not necessary.

So at that time, after Paul Olds dismissed the scientific researcher, he forgot about it in a blink of an eye and didn’t take it seriously.

But he didn’t expect that at this moment, he would hear the cobalt interconnection technology again.

”That’s right, it is cobalt interconnection technology. As the name implies, cobalt interconnection technology uses cobalt instead of copper as the wire material connecting transistors.

Among them, cobalt, a metal, has stronger electrical conductivity and lower power consumption than copper, which allows the chip to achieve the goal of smaller size. ”

The audience in the audience nodded slightly when they heard Lin Xuan’s words.

Since Lin Xuan said so, this cobalt metal should be stronger than that copper metal, so cobalt interconnection technology is stronger than copper interconnection technology!
