Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 310: Headache Intel
Chapter 310 Headache Intel

Based on the meaning of Lin Xuan’s words at this time, it seems that Lin Xuan doesn’t pay much attention to this artificial intelligence technology.

Thinking of this, Chen He suddenly became anxious:

”Boss, we can’t live without this artificial intelligence technology. If we don’t have it, it will have an impact on our Hantang computer sales.”

Looking at Chen He’s anxious look, Lin Xuan shook his head slightly and said with a slow smile:

”Of course I know that since Weisoft has launched artificial intelligence technology, we can’t do without it, but my focus is not on artificial intelligence controlling computers, but on converting voice into text.

Of course, we all have some Weiruan systems, which are better than them, but our focus is on speech recognition. ”

The former Shiweisoft company also launched an artificial intelligence-controlled computer in their WIN10 system.

But to be honest, in terms of artificial intelligence controlling computers, many people gave up in disappointment after knowing this function and experiencing it.

Because it is too troublesome to use artificial intelligence to control the computer, and most importantly, this thing is too mentally retarded, and the speech recognition rate is not accurate at all!

WIN10’s artificial mental retardation can’t guess what people want to do. In the end, everyone who experiences artificial intelligence functions turns from anticipation to anger, and then vows never to use WIN10 artificial mental retardation again!

The WIN10 system of later generations has the same performance. At this time, it is only 2005. Do we need to look forward to the artificial intelligence launched by Weisoft?

Don’t look forward to it at all!

Because the power of artificial intelligence ultimately depends on the power of intelligent algorithms and the power of computers.

The current artificial intelligence algorithm is definitely not as advanced as it will be more than ten years later, so the current artificial intelligence algorithm is actually the same, don’t expect it!

The artificial intelligence algorithm used on the Tianhe supercomputer is also an artificial intelligence algorithm developed by him with the ”experience and knowledge” of his previous life and the current top mathematicians in Daxia, such as Qiu Lao and other top domestic mathematicians.

The technology of these artificial intelligence algorithms is not disclosed by Hantang Technology, and Lin Xuan has not authorized it to Weiruan.

So Weisoft’s artificial intelligence technology is definitely not as good as the artificial intelligence technology of the later WIN10 system.

Now that this press conference is performing so well, it must be a trick!

Of course, this is not because someone is manipulating it behind the scenes, but for targeted training of artificial intelligence.

Once the artificial intelligence at this time conducts real-machine exercises of other things, the result will definitely be revealed.

This point is known from the fact that Bill Coverci only showed WORD a little bit, and Weisoft’s other office software, such as Excel spreadsheet software and PPT software, did not have actual machine demonstrations.

”On speech-to-text?”

Hearing Lin Xuan say that the functions of the Weiruan system should also be available in the Han and Tang operating systems, Chen He breathed a sigh of relief, and then focused on ”converting speech into text” as Lin Xuan said.

”That’s right, it is the conversion of speech into text, which is the real core technology.

Manipulating words through voice is just a small technology. The most difficult thing for artificial intelligence technology on computer systems is how to make voice recognition more accurate and recognize human intentions. ”

Lin Xuan slowly expressed his opinion.

There are many softwares that convert speech into text in later generations, but the most accurate speech recognition software is undoubtedly Xunfei Input Method.

In the mobile phones and computer devices of later generations, people rarely use artificial intelligence to control computers, because the so-called artificial intelligence is just an artificial mental retardation.

But there is one thing that people often use compared to artificial intelligence-assisted operation devices that are ”gimmicks greater than actual meaning”!

This thing is the function of converting speech to text!

If Hantang Technology can do a good job in this aspect, it will reach the powerful speech recognition level of the later Xunfei voice input method.

At this time, if other operating systems cannot use the same powerful speech recognition software.

The computer operating system or mobile phone operating system of Hantang Technology will have an advantage that other systems do not have, and this is the core selling point!

But at this time, Chen He didn’t know that Lin Xuan had seen through the future development based on the experience of his previous life.

At this time, he slightly shook his head when he put Lin Xuan’s focus on ”transforming speech into text”, and felt that Lin Xuan seemed to have misplaced his focus.

”Next, let’s invite Professor Qiu to come over. After the artificial intelligence algorithm, we also need to study the speech recognition algorithm with him.”

Professor Qiu mentioned by Lin Xuan is the first Chinese to win the Fields Medal and the second Chinese to win the Wolf Prize in Mathematics in previous life, Mr. Qiu!

What is the core and most important thing about artificial intelligence and even speech recognition technology, and the most important thing is the algorithm.

And what is the algorithm? Algorithms are mathematics!

So at this time, Lin Xuan has to cooperate with Professor Qiu to solve the algorithm problem of how to convert Chinese speech into text.

Lin Xuan was not worried about whether Professor Qiu would agree to this point, because the two parties have had good cooperation many times.

Professor Qiu is obviously also a patriot. Lin Xuan proposed cooperation several times and added huge remuneration, Professor Qiu also readily agreed to the previous cooperation.

”I see.”

Chen He nodded lightly. Although he felt that Lin Xuan’s path was a little off, Chen He was an excellent secretary.

After knowing that Lin Xuan had made up his mind, he went all out to implement the strategy formulated by Lin Xuan.

Just like that, Chen He left slowly, while Lin Xuan continued his research mission.

There is still one month to go, that is, on December 25th, Hantang Technology will launch their Hantang computer, and now Lin Xuan is very busy.

…

Mediguo, Silicon Valley, Intel Corporation Headquarters.

”How many chips have we sold in three days so far?”

At this time, Paul Odes asked the manager in front of him with a slight smile.

The foreign manager nodded slightly, and then gave his answer:

”At present, we have sold a total of 113,000 Core i7 processors, 125,000 Core i5 processors, and 224,000 Core i7 processors.”

”Did a total of 450,000 Core processors be sold in three days? A bit less.”

Paul Olds, who was not satisfied, then asked the next question:

”So how many Core processors did we sell yesterday?”

”Only 3,000 Core i7 processors were sold yesterday, 5,000 i5 processors were sold, and 11,000 i3 processors were sold.”

”what?”

Hearing the manager’s words, Paul Olds stood up furiously, and then stared angrily at the sales manager in front of him:

”Why are there so few sales?”

”Because our production capacity is too small, we only have one experimental model lithography machine, and the performance of the lithography machine is not stable at all!

And the worst thing is that the yield rate of 14nm is too bad, even if our Core processor adopts three echelons, the routine of selling defective products as genuine products.

But the yield rate of 14nm is still too worrying, many chips are scrapped directly, even if you want to sell them as i3 processors, you can’t do it! ”
