Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 303: Super simulation technology!
Chapter 303 Super simulation technology!

There is a circuit board on the computer table of each computer, and there is also a single-chip microcomputer for testing on the circuit board.

In this regard, some people who are engaged in the semiconductor industry or who are engaged in programming are very familiar with this.

That is the chip with the largest sales volume among domestic chips at present. Its sales volume exceeds the sum of the chips of the three series of Hanfeng, Tangfeng, and Songfeng. Its name is Hantang single-chip microcomputer A1!

But it is a little strange that there is no difference between the two chips in the projection screen on the surface.

The interface looks the same, the number of positions is the same, and the shape looks like a long strip structure like a centipede.

However, the difference is that there is an additional year mark in the above text, and the year mark shows their manufacturing date.

In this regard, nearly 3,000 guests at the press conference already knew that the manufacturing date was the latest.

That is to say, the single-chip microcomputer that has just been manufactured for two days is a chip designed with an artificial intelligence-assisted chip in EDA software!

Aware of this, they looked at the two chips curiously, wondering how effective they would be.

Just like that, in people’s curious eyes, the staff in the video pressed the confirmation button, and then the test software in the computer began to run officially!

In this way, the reality is about a few seconds, and the video shows that at ten minutes, the test software of the two computers gave the results of the test just completed.

”This!”

Li Zheng looked at the test results projected on the projection screen behind Lin Xuan, and he showed a dumbfounded expression.

Because the data performance of the new single-chip microcomputer is exceptionally bright!

”A performance improvement of 3% has been achieved, and the power consumption has been reduced by 10% while the data is so stable?!”

Paul Olds looked at the test results given above, his complexion was very ugly.

The layout structure designed by the artificial intelligence-assisted chip is actually more reasonable and efficient than the layout calculated by humans!

It can make the performance stronger, lower power consumption, and more stable without adding transistors!

It can be said that with this feature, Hantang EDA software can make their EDA software valued by people and make countless chip development companies eager for it.

It can be said that even if other functional software of Hantang Technology’s EDA is very bad, but with this artificial intelligence-assisted chip design function, those chip development companies also want to use Hantang Technology’s EDA software.

Although from the data structure point of view, the performance is only improved by about 3%, it seems that this 3% performance improvement is not too happy.

But in fact, there are two subsidiary things that are really valued most by chip design companies!

These two things are ”lower power consumption” and ”more stable chip”.

The chip has peaks and low peaks, and the reason for this is that the chip will heat up!

Among them, if a more reasonable layout can be used to make the heat of the chip computing unit more even and better transfer heat, then the overall performance will be improved invisibly.

A more reasonable layout and better heat transfer will virtually keep the chip running at high efficiency.

After running with high efficiency, the chip does not need to output so much power, which will eventually reduce power consumption.

This is a chain reaction!

The world is now in the era of computer overclocking. If the internal computing unit of your processor has better heat dissipation, it will have a super overclocking effect.

For example, the overclocking **** U that shocked the world at the beginning, the Duron processor of A.M.D company can easily overclock to the terrifying frequency of 1G.

Finally, the low-end price can compete with the high-end Intel processor without falling behind, which shocked the world.

Let the world realize the power of the Duron processor, and then starting with the Duron processor, the world has officially entered an overclocking era!

The reason why the Duron processor can easily exceed 1G is a terrifying frequency for that era, and it can use low-end processors to compete with high-end processors without being weak.

Relying on their super good architecture, of course, to be precise, it is the good layout of the computing unit, which can be seen as the role of a chip master chip!

And now with the artificial intelligence of Hantang Technology, it means that those companies also have a chip master to design the layout for them!

”Damn Lin Xuan!”

Realizing that Hantang Technology’s EDA software can survive in the EDA market just by relying on this function, Paul Olds cursed.

But at this time, after Lin Xuan introduced the first function, he slowly said the next sentence that made Paul Odes even more angry.

”The first feature selling point has been explained just now, now let’s explain the second feature selling point.

The second selling point is the super simulation function! ”

”Super Simulation.”

At this time, Joseph, the president of EDA software giant Synopsys, had an equally ugly expression. He murmured Lin Xuan’s words, and then he smiled disdainfully.

Because the simulation function is actually available in the three major EDA software companies, and this simulation function is still the core selling point of their three major EDA software.

It is also the core selling point of the simulation function that distinguishes the three major EDA software companies from other EDA software companies in various countries around the world!

After all, the most important thing in developing EDA software is not the comparison of functions, but the most important thing is the empirical data obtained from practice in the process of continuous practice!

What data does Lin Xuan, who has just entered the EDA software field, have? Joseph is not optimistic about the so-called super simulation function of Hantang EDA software.

But on the other side, Intel’s president, Paul Olds, an old opponent who had been fighting with Lin Xuan for so long, did not disdain or look down on him, but looked at Lin Xuan solemnly.

At this time, Lin Xuan dared to claim in such a public place that the super simulation of their EDA software is a feature, which means that the super simulation capability of Hantang Technology’s EDA software is extraordinary.

Thinking that this may be a special selling point similar to the artificial intelligence-assisted design just now, Paul Olds’ face is not very good.

Regarding this, Lin Xuan at this time did not stop his actions because of other people’s mood.

On the stage, Lin Xuan lightly clicked the remote control in his hand, and the projection screen behind him changed instantly. It was a short video of a chip performing simulation calculations.

The content of the short video at this time is that there is a chip in a white space, the chip is motionless, and beside the chip is a bunch of data that many guests at the scene cannot understand.

It actually took 1 minute to accelerate playback to complete half an hour of content, and then the center of the screen got a ”passed” result.

In this regard, people are confused, wondering what happened?

Most of the nearly 3,000 guests at the scene are ordinary people, fans of Hantang Technology, and they do not understand semiconductors and chip design.

Fortunately, Lin Xuan cooperated with him to explain it in person through the video, and people generally understood that this super simulation is very powerful.

Can use Tianhe supercomputer to run a virtual world made of particles, and then simulate the operation of real chips.

The chip design that originally required several tape-outs can be completed only once or twice in the end!

Seeing this, Joseph’s face became increasingly ugly. When people were horrified, he couldn’t help but say:

”You guys are lying, I suspect all of this is fake, because you can’t do such a super physics simulation!”

At this time, Joseph, the president of Synopsys, the leader of the three major EDA software companies, suddenly shouted, and the people around him all turned their attention to him.

Joseph and the others are sitting in the VIP seats, and they are also in the first row of VIP seats.

At this time, he suddenly made a loud noise, which naturally made the people nearby pay attention to him.

At the same time, a camera also deflected to focus on him.

”Joseph?”

Looking at Joseph, and then looking at Paul Odes and the other two presidents of EDA companies with pale faces at this time, Lin Xuan’s mouth curled up slightly.
