Spiritual Energy Revival: Transform Into a Divine Phoenix, Automatically Upgrade

140: Chapter 140 The Warrior Serum of the Bear Nation! (1/2)Russia, capital city Moscow.

In a secluded, rarely visited location in the city, a heavily guarded military facility stood like a steel fortress.

Russian soldiers came and went, patrolling constantly outside this military facility, surrounding it so tightly that not even a small bird could fly inside.

Even for Russian government personnel to enter, it required layers of approval procedures.

This was because this military facility was one of the most important core research institutes in all of Russia—the Biochemical Weapons Research Institute!

...

Inside the institute, a group of doctors in white coats were busy at work. Judging by their skin tone and appearance, it was easy to see that they were all Russian.

The institute director pulled a handkerchief from his pocket to wipe the sweat from his forehead. His eye sockets, housing blue eyes, were filled with tired bloodshot veins.

”Whew...”

He exhaled, pulled out a data report, and spoke to a tall man wearing a general’s uniform.

”General Los, this is the data we obtained after more than half a month of research...”

General Los took the thick stack of documents and frowned inadvertently.

”Director Marcus, summarize it for me.”

Director Marcus nodded. ”From the experimental data obtained from the Great Xia Kingdom Biological Research Institute, after our institute’s long-term research over the past half-month... we have discovered that it is indeed possible to produce the Warrior Serum...”

”Oh?!”

Upon hearing this, General Los’s burly body jolted, and his stern expression shifted.

Ever since the Great Xia Kingdom promoted their spiritual energy cultivation method nationwide, it had become known to all countries around the globe.

All the nations on Blue Star realized that the effect of the spiritual energy in the air—that is, the evolution factor—could act upon humans after the ”Super Red Moon”!

Therefore, they focused their attention on researching the Great Xia Kingdom’s spiritual energy training methods, mobilizing vast domestic resources and manpower to conduct continuous research.

Russia, however, did not possess outstanding economic strength, yet it still ranked as one of the great powers on Blue Star, purely by relying on its country’s exceptional military power!

After the evolution factor appeared in the air of Blue Star a few months ago, all countries on Blue Star had been conducting research, and Russia’s research direction was precisely the Warrior Serum!

It was just that the evolution factor substance was extremely complex and impossible to analyze, so they had never succeeded.

Until after the ”Super Red Moon,” when the strange substances in the air altered human physiology, and combined with a piece of biological experimental data stolen from the Great Xia Kingdom, their slow-progressing Warrior Serum project finally made a breakthrough!

Director Marcus’s tired face showed some hesitation. ”General Los, this is the result of the Warrior Serum...”

As he spoke, he opened a white metal case in front of him, inside which lay a test tube containing a crystal-clear white liquid.

”However... it requires some ingredients to produce the serum.”

General Los’s azure blue pupils were filled with excitement. With both hands, he took the white Warrior Serum from the white metal case and placed it in front of him.

”That is easily done. As long as the Warrior Serum is effective, I, this General, will help you acquire whatever ingredients are needed for its production!”

Looking excitedly at the three-inch-long, crystalline Warrior Serum in his hand, he turned around and asked.

”By the way, has the Warrior Serum undergone clinical trials?”

Director Marcus shook his head. ”The Warrior Serum currently only has this one finished product, which is not enough to support human trials...”

”Hm?”

General Los was stunned for a moment, then spoke up.

”Let’s conduct a human trial right now...”

...

Subsequently, inside a sealed alloy chamber, a volunteer Russian soldier was injected with the only dose of the Warrior Serum. He lay on a metal test bench with electrode pads attached all over his body, the electrode wires connected to various pieces of equipment and instruments.

General Los and Director Marcus stood directly in front of the alloy chamber, where a large sheet of transparent glass allowed them to see into the room and observe the situation inside.

Beside them, a crowd of staff members was staring intently at the data on the electronic screens, which clearly displayed the physical condition of the Russian soldier who had been injected with the Warrior Serum.

A few minutes later, the originally normal and calm screen suddenly showed violent fluctuations!

”Beep, beep, beep!!!”

An urgent alarm sound rang out!

”The soldier’s heart rate is fluctuating wildly!”

”The soldier’s heartbeat is accelerating and pounding violently!”

”Breathing is very irregular...”

”The oxygen concentration inside the metal laboratory is dropping rapidly!”

The laboratory staff nearby busied themselves. They were passionate about the experiment, so they began to divide tasks and record all the data before them!

In front of the transparent glass, General Los and Director Marcus held their breath, both feeling somewhat nervous.

Director Marcus was nervous because this was the result of their research over the past few months, and he certainly didn’t want any accidents to happen.

Meanwhile, General Los wanted to avoid accidents even more; this was a project belonging to him. If it succeeded, he would have a place for himself when competing for the position of the next Russian leader.

Conversely... if the Warrior Serum project failed this time, he would never have any room for further advancement.

Meanwhile, inside the laboratory built of metal alloys, the Russian soldier lying on the metal test bench who had been injected with the Warrior Serum had skin that turned bright red. Through the data on the screen, one could already see that his internal body temperature had reached an alarming level, and one could even see wisps of white smoke drifting from his flushed body!

Bluish-red veins bulged all over his face and body, dense and numerous, looking somewhat terrifying!

The Russian soldier’s body was also trembling violently, his expression pained, as he endured pain beyond that of an ordinary person!

”Ah!!!”

Ultimately, the immense pain exceeded his limit of endurance, and a scream filled with agony erupted from the metal chamber, causing everyone outside the room to tremble involuntarily.

Just how great the pain must be...

However, after the scream, the Russian soldier’s body in the room stopped trembling, and the fluctuations shown on the screen returned to normal.

”Test subject survived!”

”Whew...”

This caused everyone present to breathe a sigh of relief.

Half the goal was achieved; next was the most important part of the experiment: combat capability.

...

Boom!!!

With a loud bang, a two-meter-high, six-millimeter-thick steel plate was pierced through!

General Los saw the hole that had appeared and looked with satisfaction at the soldier standing before him, who was radiating a powerful aura.

”This punch force is at least at the two-ton level...”

”This Warrior Serum is simply perfect!”

”Compared to the Warrior Serum, the Great Xia Kingdom’s spiritual energy cultivation system is simply pathetic!”

Director Marcus watched the excited expression of General Los beside him and couldn’t help but speak up.

”General Los, compared to the results brought by the Warrior Serum, I would like to remind you that the ingredients for making the Warrior Serum are not easy to obtain...”

”Oh?”

”The Prehistoric White-Feathered Great Eagle!”
