103: Chapter 103 Launching a Medium-Sized Missile! Xiong DaweiForest on the outskirts of Jianghai City.

The silent forest was filled with rumbling sounds. From time to time, large trees crashed down in the forest. Big Brown Bear Xiong Da, whose evolution level had risen to ”D-” level, was like an invincible land tank, constantly chasing and devouring the more than one hundred remaining soldiers in the forest.

To the more than one hundred soldiers fleeing and retreating, this demonic Big Brown Bear was simply far more terrifying than a land tank!

Land tanks did not have such speed, and their bodies certainly would not ignore anti-armor missiles!

And the most important point was that, at the very least, land tanks did not devour humans...

”Crack!!!”

Crisp, snapping sounds echoed incessantly through the forest.

Whenever the fleeing soldiers heard this sound, their bodies would tremble involuntarily, and a surge of anger would well up in their hearts!

Because they knew that another comrade had been devoured by this Big Brown Bear.

Suddenly, a communications soldier ran quickly to the side of several squadron leaders, shouting with a pale face and panting breath.

”Report, Squadron Leader! The General has ordered! He commands us to... have someone lure the Big Brown Bear to an open area; the electromagnetic cannon has already locked onto this location! We are to preserve our combat strength and minimize losses... so we can face the Prehistoric White-Feathered Great Eagle later!”

”What?! The General still won’t let us retreat?!”

”To hell with that! In our current state, how are we supposed to continue dealing with the mission target, the Prehistoric White-Feathered Great Eagle?!”

”This is sending us to our deaths!”

”The General is even making soldiers sacrifice themselves to lure the Big Brown Bear! This is definitely not a general of our Great Xia...”

Several hot-tempered squadron leaders, under the immense pressure brought by being hunted by the Big Brown Bear and the constant deaths of their comrades, were on the verge of a nervous breakdown!

One calm squadron leader took a deep breath.

”Although I don’t understand the General’s order... we still have to obey it...”

”You few, take the team and continue fleeing. Remember to get far away. I’ll go lure this Big Brown Bear away!”

”Yan Fei, don’t go...”

But this squadron leader had already left the team, walking resolutely toward the massive figure in the rear.

Several squadron leaders gritted their teeth, ”Hurry and evacuate from here!”

The Big Brown Bear, having just increased its evolution level, had consumed a huge amount of its accumulated energy. It was hungry, and its body desperately needed to replenish high-energy food.

The group of two-legged beasts before him, which posed no threat to him, had already been marked as his prey.

The Big Brown Bear, having chewed a few mouthfuls of torn flesh, was just about to continue hunting, but stopped when he saw the figure of the two-legged beast walking toward him voluntarily.

A trace of confusion flashed in his massive, blood-red bear eyes.

He did not sense any fear from this two-legged beast...

Then, a thought flashed through his mind: could this two-legged beast have a way to harm him?

The increase in evolution level had greatly improved the intelligence of Big Brown Bear Xiong Da, and his mind was filled with distracting thoughts.

But why was there no aura of danger coming from this two-legged beast...

The situation had actually frozen like this!

The squadron leader, having gathered his courage, was also a bit stunned. He then quietly retreated, and when he reached a hillside a few hundred meters away...

He shouted out, ”You monster! If you have the guts, come and chase your grandpa!”

”Roar!!! You’re courting death!”

Although the Big Brown Bear did not know what the word ”grandpa” meant, he knew that this weak two-legged beast was insulting him!

He immediately roared in anger, his figure turning into a bolt of land-bound thunder as he charged into the distance!

Any obstacles blocking his advance were ruthlessly destroyed; large trees collapsed, and rocks shattered!

In the sky, a helicopter clearly recorded this scene.

”What is this Great Xia officer trying to do? What benefit does provoking the Big Brown Bear have for the Great Xia military?”

”I don’t know... anyway, I feel that this team in the forest almost certainly cannot escape from the bear paws of the Big Brown Bear...”

”Sigh, the direction of our modern human scientific research weapons has been toward strategic weapons. Small squad combat capabilities are too weak when facing powerful wild beasts in the wilderness... Could this prove that the direction of our human scientific research weapons is wrong?”

”No, no, no! If it weren’t for this forest being so close to the city, a few missiles would have long since killed the beasts in this hundred-mile forest! This is just a special situation; no need to worry too much...”

”But I heard someone say that the speed of that Prehistoric White-Feathered Great Eagle can dodge missiles...”

”Fake, it’s impossible for such a creature to appear in this world!”

The audience in the live stream did not know General Zhao’s order; they only saw a Great Xia officer lure the Big Brown Bear away and run into the distance.

But in their eyes, this was futile. The Big Brown Bear’s speed was too fast; after dealing with this Great Xia officer, he could completely catch up to the fleeing team in the distance.

Reporter Wang Xiaoli did not provide commentary, and the scene was not suitable for commentary.

Because their Great Xia Military Department was being crushed and hunted by a Big Brown Bear; it was truly not a situation that one could commentate on.

Her face was pale, and her eyes were full of worry.

”I hope these soldiers can safely withdraw alive...”

Suddenly, the helicopter pilot received a message and, in a panic, maneuvered the helicopter to ascend rapidly.

The young photographer hurriedly steadied the camera and yelled at the pilot, ”Pilot, why are you suddenly going crazy?”

The pilot didn’t even turn his head, continuing to maneuver the helicopter to ascend at high speed.

”A medium-range missile is about to be launched on the outskirts of Jianghai City! If we want to survive and not be affected by the shockwave, we can only ascend!”

”What?!”

Reporter Wang Xiaoli was shocked! Her fair, delicate face was filled with astonishment!

They were actually going to use a missile on this Big Brown Bear!

”The Great Xia Military Department is finally starting to exert its power!”

”You Great Xia people are really stupid! If it were our Lighthouse Country, we would have long since used missile launchers to cleanse this forest, and there wouldn’t have been casualties of hundreds of soldiers!”

”Heh! When you see the Prehistoric White-Feathered Great Eagle, if you foreigner can still be this mysteriously confident, I’ll consider you impressive!”

”Tch! Isn’t it just a bird?! No matter how powerful it is, is it more powerful than our Lighthouse Country’s shadow fighter jet in the sky?”

”I’m not going to say anything more to an idiot like you... Let me correct one thing: this is a shadow fighter jet that belongs to our Great Xia!”

”FUCK!!!”

On the ground, in less than two minutes, Big Brown Bear Xiong Da had already pinned the two-legged beast in front of him beneath his body.

His bear eyes looked down with mockery at the two-legged beast pressed against the ground by his bear paw.

”Roar... two-legged beast... weak... food...”

The squadron leader, pressed to the ground, turned bright red. He knew he wouldn’t survive and wanted to open his mouth to curse this monster Brown Bear, but his chest was being pressed by the massive bear paw, and he couldn’t breathe at all.

He glanced at the sky and saw a black shadow rapidly enlarging in his field of vision; the corners of his mouth curled up.

Big Brown Bear Xiong Da’s brutal bear face paused, not understanding what the two-legged beast in front of him was thinking. He was just about to open his large bear mouth to feed...

Suddenly, the bear ears on his round, bulging head twitched, and a sound of breaking air rang out!

Instantly, the Brown Bear fur all over his body stood on end!

Without hesitation, he moved his bear paws and exerted full force!

Charging into the distance...
