Spiritual Energy Revival: Transform Into a Divine Phoenix, Automatically Upgrade

126: Chapter 126 Spiritual Breathing Techniques and Body Tempering Exercises”This set of exercise methods, suitable for improving the efficiency of the human body’s absorption of spirit energy, is divided into two parts.”

In the conference hall, there was only one voice at this moment, and that was the voice of the Minister of Scientific Research.

All the leaders of the Great Xia Kingdom seemed to have become students eager for knowledge, looking at the Minister of Scientific Research with extremely fervent eyes, for fear of missing a single word.

”One part is the breathing rhythm of the human body; our Ministry of Scientific Research has named this breathing frequency for rapidly absorbing spirit energy the Spirit Energy Breathing Technique.”

”The breathing technique mainly combines the core mental state ideologies of Taoism, while also incorporating Buddhism and Confucianism. It is even still being improved; we are trying to integrate the thoughts of the Hundred Schools of Thought from the pre-Qin era... striving to maximize the efficiency increase of the Spirit Energy Breathing Technique in absorbing spirit energy.”

”The other part is a special method of exercise. Like the breathing technique, this special training method can improve the body’s efficiency in absorbing spirit energy. It was modified by referencing various health-strengthening martial arts of our Great Xia Kingdom, and there is still significant room for improvement...”

”We have named this special method of exercise the Body Tempering Gong—”

”What is even more exciting is that when the two are combined, the human body’s efficiency in absorbing spirit energy is no less than that of an average powerful beast!”

”These data and materials have all undergone practical experiments, so please do not worry.”

After speaking, the Minister of Scientific Research quietly sat back in his seat.

The scene fell into a period of silence.

”If everyone in our Great Xia nationwide absorbs spirit energy to improve their physical fitness... then when will we be able to possess the physical fitness of the middle-aged Taoist and the martial monk in the video just now?!”

”It shouldn’t take too long. After all, it has only been half a month since the ’Super Red Moon’ appeared, which means that the Taoist and the martial monk have only been absorbing spirit energy for at most half a month...”

”That’s wonderful! If the evolutionary effects of spirit energy can truly manifest in human bodies, combined with the assistance of our technological civilization, we will surely be able to face future supernatural phenomena!”

”Yes! Relying on spirit energy, it’s very likely that human civilization will achieve a leapfrog breakthrough!”

All the high-level officials of the Great Xia Kingdom present agreed to let Great Xia embark on this evolutionary path of spirit energy.

It sounded somewhat incredible...

However, anyone who had experienced the ’Super Red Moon’ and seen many relatives and friends die suddenly and mysteriously would feel an unknown fear in their hearts, not wishing to face those supernatural phenomena again.

It was as if the Sword of Damocles hung over everyone’s head, forcing them to worry about a sudden death at any moment.

Now, with such an excellent method proposed by the Minister of Scientific Research, they could use spirit energy evolution to make themselves stronger.

Although this path was shrouded in uncertainty and no one could predict how to proceed or what the outcome would be, it was better than doing nothing like a fool.

Subsequently, intense discussion broke out again in the conference hall as the high-level officials of Great Xia began to debate how to make the entire nation accept this in a more scientific and universal manner.

”Using spirit energy to improve the physical fitness of our citizens... no one can be certain of the endpoint of this path, and the road is full of thorns...”

”Furthermore, even though our Great Xia Kingdom has lost half its population, there are still over 600 million people remaining. With such a massive group, we simply don’t have the resources to promote this nationwide...”

”Indeed, and both the Spirit Energy Breathing Technique and the Body Tempering Gong are constantly being refined. They will be updated rapidly in the future, and we don’t have enough educational resources to teach them...”

”Therefore, we can only implement selective promotional education, focusing our resources where they matter most and practicing elite education.”

”But would doing this be unfair to other citizens and infringe upon their rightful rights?”

”The ancients said that ’heavy penalties should be used in chaotic times’ for a reason. The current situation is likely a desperate crisis for our Great Xia Kingdom, or even the apocalypse for humanity. We must employ unconventional means!”

”To face unknown future crises, we have no choice but to do this...”

”Then the question arises: to which group of people should we promote this first?”

The topic gradually drew to a close, and opinions began to unify.

At this moment, the Minister of Scientific Research spoke up again, ”This question is simple. Youth have the highest learning ability and physical potential. From primary school to university, we should include the Spirit Energy Breathing Technique and Body Tempering Gong in the curriculum and make the grades of these two subjects a key focus of the Gaokao.”

”We have already sent people to the deep mountains to find Taoists who cultivate their mental state and eminent monks to come out. They have promised us that they can teach the Spirit Energy Breathing Technique and Body Tempering Gong to the world.”

A Great Xia leader spoke up, ”Reforming education that hasn’t changed for decades... isn’t that a bit too bold? Could we perhaps run a pilot program in some areas first to see the results?”

The Minister of Scientific Research shook his head.

”This is the only method for now. You are well aware of the national situation in our Great Xia. If the existence of the Spirit Energy Breathing Technique and Body Tempering Gong becomes known, people will surely go crazy! After all, we have had legends of immortals, heroes, demons, and monsters since ancient times!”

His tone shifted.

”Furthermore, having experienced the supernatural phenomenon of the ’Super Red Moon’ and the death of 600 million people domestically, the citizens are currently feeling very anxious and uneasy. Introducing the Spirit Energy Breathing Technique and Body Tempering Gong now will effectively calm the public’s emotions, shift their attention, stabilize the national structure, and quickly restore the economy. Only then can Great Xia begin to function again.”

”Hmm...”

”That makes sense.”

These words quickly gained the approval of all the Great Xia Kingdom leaders present.

Things became easier after that. After each leader considered the potential issues that might arise from promoting this system, their opinions gradually converged.

As the meeting drew to a close, the eyes of all the high-level officials of Great Xia in the conference hall turned in unison toward the elderly man in the head seat who had remained silent throughout.

The Leader of Great Xia spoke, ”There will inevitably be many accidents during the implementation of the spirit energy system. All City Lords must help each other and exchange experiences at all times...”

”All cities in Great Xia will be upgraded to First-Level Autonomy. Alright, that’s all.”

”Meeting adjourned!”

With the final word from the Leader of Great Xia, the meeting concluded, and the course for the Great Xia Kingdom was set.

At the same time, the words of the Leader of Great Xia continued to echo in the hearts of all the high-level officials in the conference hall.

First-Level City Autonomy...

Cities could essentially be described as autonomous small countries, except for a few specific aspects.

Cities would not have to take orders from the high-level officials of Great Xia at all, and could even establish their own city laws!

This caused the hearts of the hundred Great Xia leaders in the conference hall to tighten!

A storm of unprecedented upheaval was enveloping them, and they were right at the eye of the storm...
