Spiritual Energy Revival: Transform Into a Divine Phoenix, Automatically Upgrade

128: Chapter 128 The Rampage of Wild Beasts in NatureSakura Country is located to the northeast of the Great Xia Kingdom, separated by a vast ocean.

However, this vast ocean could not stop Sakura Country from heading toward the lands of the Great Xia Kingdom.

Thousands of years ago, they braved the immense risks of the sea in wooden boats several times to step onto the lands of the ancient Great Xia, bowing in worship and humbly offering gifts to the ancient dynasties of Great Xia.

Having witnessed the prosperity of ancient Great Xia, they wished to voluntarily become a vassal state, but were heartlessly rejected. At that time, ancient Great Xia looked down upon such a tiny speck of land, considering them complete barbarians compared to the Celestial Kingdom of Great Xia.

However, as a nation of etiquette, ancient Great Xia did not make things difficult for the envoys of Sakura Country who had crossed the ocean, giving them food seeds, cultural books, and even various means of production...

Because of this, Sakura Country successfully acquired writing and culture.

At the same time, their culture was born from ancient Great Xia, so the entire nation could fully understand the concepts of Taoism.

The upper echelons of Sakura Country were overjoyed at this moment!

”Hahaha! Since ancient times, the Great Xia Kingdom has been a place where exceptional talents gather. I never expected someone in Great Xia to actually invent a method to rapidly absorb spirit energy; it truly is a talent of gods and demons!”

”Indeed! Now, besides our Sakura Country and Great Xia, other countries will certainly be unable to adapt to the ’Spirit Energy Breathing Technique.’ This signifies that our Sakura Country has the potential to become a world superpower!”

”Yoshi! When the time comes, we will surely possess more land and more beautiful women!”

”The Great Xia Kingdom is truly foolish to actually make it public...”

”Quickly, go and congratulate His Majesty the Emperor!”

...

By now, half a month had passed since the ”Super Red Moon” lunar eclipse phenomenon.

Humans, who held the position of overlords on Blue Star, had spent this half-month experiencing immense turmoil and anxiety.

They hadn’t noticed at all the various changes appearing on Blue Star after the Red Moon.

While human society was collapsing, the beasts of the natural world were also in a state of massive chaos.

Because the strange substances contained in the red light emitted by the Red Moon did not have the same adverse effects on beasts as they did on humans; after all, their body structures and cells were naturally capable of accepting spirit energy.

The strange substances of the Red Moon made the beasts of nature more intelligent, teaching them how to absorb the spirit energy in the air to evolve and become stronger.

At the same time, they also discovered that devouring powerful beasts provided a large amount of spirit energy, which would make them strong even faster!

Thus, during this half-month...

Nature was constantly filled with slaughter, with scenes of hunting playing out at every moment. The beasts were either hunting to devour or killing to seize places with dense spirit energy...

In any wilderness area a certain distance away from human cities, one could smell a thick scent of blood...

...

Meanwhile.

Aside from the human population, the number of wild beasts on Blue Star was astronomical. Even excluding the massive number of organisms hidden in the oceans—the source of life—the number of beasts living on land alone was in the tens of millions, hundreds of billions, or even trillions!

With such a massive base population, many special cases naturally emerged.

On the border of the Great Xia Kingdom sat a white mountain peak that pierced straight into the clouds!

This was none other than the highest mountain in the world—Mount Everest!

Influenced by spirit energy and the strange substances, what was already the highest mountain in the world had become even taller, like a sky-propping giant that had been gradually growing from forty million years ago until now...

At this moment, a group of humans was slowly climbing the mountain against the wind and snow.

Due to the extreme altitude, the air on Mount Everest forced those human climbers to breathe using oxygen tanks.

A massive, snow-colored figure appeared in their field of vision.

Suddenly, the group of climbers felt an aura even colder than the surrounding freezing wind lock onto them.

”Oh my God! Is that a yeti monster?!”

”I really regret coming here, wanting to conquer Mount Everest once more...”

”We’re dead for sure this time...”

These climbers only wanted to conquer the world’s highest peak again; as for the danger of wild beasts, these adventure-lovers had completely ignored it...

A few minutes later.

The white giant beast devoured the group completely, leaving only shredded thermal clothing on the snow and some red blood splatters as evidence that the climbers had ever existed.

The white giant beast stuck out its crimson tongue to lick its lips and shook off the snowflakes, revealing its black-and-white spotted form in the light...

It was actually a rare Snow Leopard!

The Snow Leopard, eight meters long, had eyes that were clearly black and white, filled with confusion.

It was wondering why such weak creatures dared to step into its territory. Were they not afraid of its aura?

Then, it quickly charged toward the mountain peak; it wanted to stay at the summit at all times to grow stronger quickly...

...

The Nile, a river in eastern and northern Africa.

A small passenger boat carrying over a dozen people was slowly sailing on the water...

”Sigh... there are riots all over the world...”

”I hope the God of Nature protects us, keeping us well-fed and safe...”

”God of the Earth, please protect us...”

In the land of Africa, the primary belief is that all things are divine spirits.

”God of the River—I pray to you...”

One person on the small boat clasped their hands together and stared at the water while praying. ”Huh, what is that?!”

In his vision, a shadow even larger than the small passenger boat they were on was surging toward them beneath the water!

If the black shadow hadn’t looked so unsettling and frightening, he would have surely thought the God of the River had answered his prayer.

”What on earth is that?!”

”Monster! Demon!”

”Captain, speed up! Get us out of here!”

More and more people on the boat felt a sense of unease and gradually noticed the approaching shadow beneath the river’s surface.

The captain tried to speed up!

But before he could operate the boat to accelerate, the massive black shadow seemed to understand his words!

With a sudden flash, it lunged toward the boat!

Tall waves erupted from the water for several seconds!

The black figure turned out to be a massive black Nile Crocodile!

A few minutes later, the surface of the Nile returned to tranquility, though a layer of red blood and the shattered wreckage of the small passenger boat now floated upon it...

...

Great Xia, a dense mountain forest.

A massive creature was flying rapidly through the air.

The Winged Saber-toothed Tiger turned to gaze in a certain direction. He could feel that in that direction, something filled with temptation was waiting for him; as long as he could feast on that creature, his body would undergo a world-shaking evolution!

But he also knew that now was not the time; that creature was much stronger than him...

So, he had to get stronger quickly!

A frightening light of intelligence, along with cunning, flickered in his golden tiger eyes!

Then he turned and dove into a dense sea of trees...

This mountain range was none other than the Qinling Mountains, known as the dragon vein of the Great Xia Kingdom...
