Shocking! The Fake Young Master Has Been Won Over by the Real Young Master!

143: I’ve learned a new way to segment! In the room upstairs, Yan Zhuohua was tossing and turning on the bed. In fact, within minutes of kicking Yan Qinghe out of the room, he regretted it. It wasn’t because of Yan Qinghe, but because he regretted not kicking the phone out with him.

Modern people cannot lose their phones, just as the West cannot lose Jerusalem.

Yan Zhuohua rolled over on the bed again, becoming even more annoyed. Thinking of the culprit behind all this, Yan Zhuohua’s teeth itched with rage—it was all Sheng Xufeng’s fault! If it weren’t for the fact that he had lent him the ’first anniversary commemorative starting funds’ last night without a second thought...

Wait a minute, it seemed Sheng Xufeng gave him a business card yesterday!

Yan Zhuohua flipped out of bed and rummaged through the laundry basket for a long while before finally finding that business card and bank card in the pocket of last night’s coat. Fortunately, if Yan Qinghe had found them while doing laundry or if they had been ruined in the wash, it would have been a real problem.

Where should he hide them? Yan Zhuohua circled the room with the two cards, eventually stuffing them under the mattress.

Hopefully, everything goes smoothly.

At 12:30 PM, Yan Zhuohua leisurely came downstairs and leaned against the kitchen doorway, watching Yan Qinghe methodically prepare lunch. Since they had eaten breakfast a bit late, Yan Qinghe was worried about him getting indigestion, so he had delayed starting lunch preparations by over half an hour.

”Hungry? Wait fifteen more minutes, it’ll be ready soon.” Yan Qinghe caught sight of Yan Zhuohua peeking from the doorway out of the corner of his eye; without stopping his hands, he spoke to him with a smile.

”I saw you cleaned the whole living room, why didn’t you ask me to help?” Since he was spotted, Yan Zhuohua simply walked in and conveniently picked up his phone from the counter.

Yan Qinghe, who was adding seasoning to the soup, paused for a moment before laughing again. ”Does your head not hurt anymore?”

”It’s been fine for a while.” Yan Zhuohua’s hands didn’t stop scrolling through his social media platform, yet he didn’t forget to spare some attention to chat with Yan Qinghe. ”Put more chili in; how can Boiled Fish be good if it’s not spicy?”

”...It will hurt.”

What would hurt? Yan Zhuohua was blank for a moment. ”I already said my head doesn’t hurt anymore...”

”I wasn’t talking about your head.”

”If not the head, then what else could...”

Yan Zhuohua suddenly realized something, and his face instantly turned beet red.

”You!” Yan Zhuohua ground his teeth. ”Shameless! Rogue!”

Yan Qinghe couldn’t help but laugh. ”Fine, I’m a shameless rogue. But I’m still not putting chili in for you.”

”Who cares if you put chili in? Put it in or don’t!” Shamed into anger, Yan Zhuohua strode out of the kitchen—that den of vice—only to turn back in a fit of pique at the door and give Yan Qinghe’s backside a hard kick. ”I’ll deal with you sooner or later!”

Having taken a kick, Yan Qinghe let out a wail, but his smile only grew brighter.

Less than ten minutes later, Yan Qinghe indeed brought the food to the table. He looked around and easily spotted Yan Zhuohua at the bar counter with his back turned.

”Still shy?” He walked over quickly and pinched Yan Zhuohua’s chin.

Yan Zhuohua impatiently slapped his hand away and turned himself in another direction. ”Who’s shy? Stop spreading rumors about me.”

”If you’re not shy, why is your face red? And why did you run away?” Yan Qinghe quite patiently circled around to the front of Yan Zhuohua again, this time simply cupping Yan Zhuohua’s face with both hands.

Yan Zhuohua struggled twice but couldn’t break free, so he could only glare at the wicked man before him with his clear, wide eyes full of fury. ”That’s because the kitchen was hot! That’s why my face is red and why I had to run out.”

Yan Qinghe let out a ”pfft” and couldn’t resist giving Yan Zhuohua a little kiss on the lips. ”Fine, it’s because the kitchen was too hot.”

”Let go of me! I only said I wasn’t shy, I didn’t say I wasn’t angry!” Yan Zhuohua pushed away the face that still wanted to keep taking advantage of him. ”I haven’t forgiven you yet.”

”Then how can you forgive me?” The pushed-away Yan Qinghe asked him with a smile in his eyes. ”How about I serve you diligently tonight?”

”Get lost! We agreed on three days, tonight is only the second night, and you’re already going back on your word?”

”I haven’t gone back on my word!” Yan Qinghe smiled mischievously. ”I meant giving you a massage tonight; look where your mind went. Which one of us is the rogue exactly?”

Yan Zhuohua was shocked by his ’villain suing the victim first’ act and didn’t snap out of it for a long while.

”Yan Qinghe!” Yan Zhuohua stood up abruptly. ”You are shameless!!”

”My mistake, my mistake,” seeing that his wife was truly being teased into genuine anger, Yan Qinghe quickly admitted his fault and apologized. ”Don’t be mad, I won’t tease you anymore. It’s almost one o’clock, you must be hungry, let’s go eat.”

”I’m really angry!” Yan Zhuohua was reluctantly pushed toward the dining room by him.

”Yes, yes, let’s eat first. After eating, I’ll let you punish me however you like.”

”You’re just humoring me.”

”Absolutely not, how could I humor my dear wife?” Yan Qinghe pressed him into his seat and then ladled a bowl of soup for Yan Zhuohua. ”It’s currently rose season, and an Ecological Flower City is opening in the suburbs next Wednesday. How about punishing me by making me go pick a bouquet of roses for you by hand?”

”What kind of punishment is that?” Yan Zhuohua grumbled dissatisfiedly, but then immediately asked with feigned calmness, ”...Just roses?”

Yan Qinghe chuckled. ”Then how about I pick a bit of everything for you? When I get back, you can teach me how to make essential oils; I want to make some for you to use.” Having his wife smell like the floral scent of essential oils he made himself every day would definitely be a beautiful thing.

And the uses for this essential oil...

Yan Qinghe gave an excited ”hehe.”

”What are you laughing at?” Yan Zhuohua looked at him strangely, feeling a bit of a chill down his spine.

Yan Qinghe, who was in the middle of a wonderful fantasy, instantly became solemn. ”I was just thinking about how many I’d have to pick to be enough for essential oils.”

”It’ll probably be enough to keep you picking all morning and afternoon.” I’ll work you to death! Yan Zhuohua huffed fiercely in his heart.

”...Fine! I’ll definitely pick enough for you.” He wondered if there would be enough flowers there for him to pick!

”Alright then, I’ll show some mercy and forgive you this once.” Coaxed by this promise, Yan Zhuohua finally showed a hint of a smile. ”Let’s eat!”

Because this lunch was nearly an hour late, by the time they had eaten their fill and cleaned up the kitchen together, it was already past their usual nap time.

”Want to go up and sleep for a bit?” Sitting on the sofa, Yan Qinghe tapped the forehead of the person in his arms.

”No,” Yan Zhuohua rolled over in his arms, found a more comfortable position, and continued scrolling through his social media platform. ”If I sleep now, I won’t be able to sleep tonight.”

Yan Qinghe nodded silently, then suddenly fell quiet for a moment. He placed his hand on Yan Zhuohua’s hair and stroked it gently. Yan Zhuohua’s attention was still on his phone, but he subconsciously leaned into the touch and rubbed against Yan Qinghe’s palm, looking like a lazy, comfortable cat.

”Wife, do you think there can be secrets between lovers?”
