Shocking! The Fake Young Master Has Been Won Over by the Real Young Master!

110: Special training in progress”Of course they don’t understand!” Yan Zhuoyan said as if it were a matter of course. ”These people are twenty-one at most. Their military quality is top-notch, but when it comes to cultural literacy, only six of them have attended university. Two are from mid-tier schools, and four are nearly bottom-tier.”

”Then isn’t it a waste of time for them to take classes with us?” Yan Zhuohua was very puzzled.

”Their curriculum is different from yours.” Yan Zhuoyan explained with rare patience. ”I’m leading your classes. Those soldiers are led by an ordinary Researcher, starting from high school courses to build a foundation. When you do practical operations or similar courses, they’ll come over to observe and audit.”

Almost all the top Researchers in the country were in this Research Institute. Even the ”ordinary Researcher” Yan Zhuoyan mentioned would be a big shot elsewhere; teaching them was easy.

Yan Zhuohua wanted to ask about his specific schedule, but several people suddenly entered the conference room.

The elegant middle-aged man leading them naturally sat at the head of the table. Those behind him sat on chairs against the wall instead of at the table, looking like clerks or secretaries.

”Is everyone here?” The gentleman at the head scanned the room. ”Then let’s begin!”

”Many of you probably don’t know me. I am the official head of this project, Shangguan Hong. I know you don’t like listening to repetitive chatter and mutual praise, so I’ll get straight to the point.” Shangguan Hong looked refined and experienced.

”Today’s meeting covers three things: getting to know each other, the current progress of our project, and the follow-up plans for each division.” Shangguan Hong was concise. ”Let’s start with Director Jiang!”

...

With a capable moderator and the project actually going smoothly, the meeting didn’t last long. All things considered, it lasted less than an hour before everyone went off to their planned tasks.

Yan Zhuohua and Fu Yifeng naturally followed Yan Zhuoyan, while the soldiers were led by the eldest brother to meet their teacher.

”You’ve finally fallen into my hands, my dear younger brother?” As soon as they left the conference room, Yan Zhuoyan revealed his true colors and began acting playful. ”If you say something nice now, I might not target you.”

”Then target me, Nanny Yan.”

”...”

Yan Zhuoyan nearly choked. Just as he was about to retort, an unpleasant sound hit his ears.

Fu Yifeng: ”Hahahahahaha...”

Yan Zhuohua and Yan Zhuoyan looked at him speechlessly, and Fu Yifeng awkwardly shut his mouth.

Ten minutes’ walk from the Research Institute’s main building was the staff dormitory. The bottom three floors were arranged like military barracks, while the upper floors were like five-star hotels to provide a comfortable environment for Researchers. Last time Yan Zhuohua came, he stayed in a double room on the third floor.

This time they were here as Test Pilots, so their treatment was different from their previous stay. Yan Zhuoyan took them to the front desk to collect their pre-arranged room key cards.

”Why am I on the fourth floor and he’s on the fifth?” Fu Yifeng asked Yan Zhuoyan, puzzled by the numbers on his card.

”The fifth floor has double rooms with king-sized beds.”

Yan Zhuohua turned his head in embarrassment and annoyance.

”Ooh~”

”Stop that. Go up and pack. I’ll take you to dinner in an hour and show you around. We’ll have a small meeting for the three of us tonight to discuss the training schedule.” Yan Zhuoyan was quite reliable when talking business.

Both were used to this life, so it didn’t take long to pack and head downstairs early. Seeing this, Yan Zhuoyan took them for a walk around the Research Institute’s grounds before dinner.

”Second Brother, the dinner standards at your Research Institute really rival the Air Force!” Yan Zhuohua ate with gusto. ”I didn’t get to eat this last time, what a pity.”

”Exactly! I wondered why my picky uncle rarely stayed home; it turns out the restaurant is so good!” Fu Yifeng’s uncle was the main person in charge of the Fu Family for this project, but he was never keen on existing in the same space as his ”overly lively” nephew, so he pushed the task of leading them to Yan Zhuoyan.

”Alright, you’re acting like you’ve never eaten delicacies before.”

”It’s different, Second Brother. I just spent a month in Eldest Brother’s Military Camp. How can I not be happy seeing this?” Yan Zhuohua finished his last bite of rice and wiped his mouth contentedly.

”I understand you!” Fu Yifeng patted Yan Zhuohua’s shoulder. ”Every time I went to the Military Camp for training, I’d lose at least ten pounds.”

”Who doesn’t lose weight in the Military Camp?” Yan Zhuoyan looked at them with a complicated expression, wondering if choosing them as Test Pilots was a bit hasty. ”Alright, hurry up. Let’s go to the meeting.”

The three held a brief meeting in Yan Zhuoyan’s lab. After arranging the daily tasks, Yan Zhuohua and Fu Yifeng’s month-long training at the Research Institute officially began the next day.

Life at the Research Institute was very fulfilling. Theory and practice—the schedule from morning to night was no less intense than the college entrance exams. After a few days of busy training, Yan Qinghe finally arrived to discuss the project.

At that time, Yan Zhuohua was in the cockpit of a mecha getting familiar with the buttons. Jiang Fuyue had specifically come out to arrange for the members of both families to stay in the dormitory first.

Jiang Fuyue took the pre-arranged room cards from the front desk and handed them out one by one.

But when she got to Yan Qinghe, she stared at the card in her hand. She checked the registration form carefully before handing the card to Yan Qinghe with a faint smile.

”You better behave yourself.”

Yan Qinghe’s eyes darted around, not daring to meet Jiang Fuyue’s gaze.

Thus, when Yan Zhuohua finished his training and returned to the room, he found Yan Qinghe, whom he hadn’t seen for days, already showered and lying on the large bed.

Yan Zhuohua’s eyes lit up instantly, and he walked over quickly. ”When did you get here?”

Yan Qinghe pulled him into his arms and kissed him thoroughly for a long time.

”I arrived this afternoon. I knew you were busy, so I didn’t disturb you.”

”Then how many days are you staying this time?” Yan Zhuohua’s face was flushed from the kissing.

”Two days. I’ll go back Sunday afternoon.” Yan Qinghe finally let go after kissing his fill. ”Go wash up, I’ll wait for you.”

”Mm!”

After Yan Zhuohua finished washing and turned off the lights to get into bed, Yan Qinghe immediately buried him tightly in his arms. If not for his mother’s warning that afternoon, he probably wouldn’t have been able to hold back.

”It’s been so long since I slept holding you...” Yan Qinghe’s voice was muffled, sounding a bit like he was acting spoiled. ”Did you miss me?”

”Of course I did,” Yan Zhuohua replied softly. ”It feels like we haven’t been back to Mirror Lake Bright Forest for two months. Let’s move back once the test flight is over, okay?”

”Okay.”
