Shocking! The Fake Young Master Has Been Won Over by the Real Young Master!

51: Police StationAt the police station, Yan Qinghe immediately requested that the police take him to the Forensics Department to test the anesthetic he had inhaled and preserve it as evidence. The others were taken directly for questioning.

The people who had fainted had long since woken up during the bumpy ride and were also taken away by the police for interrogation.

As one of the only two people conscious at the scene before the others arrived, Yan Zhuohua was the first to be taken for questioning. As soon as he entered, he backed up the video he had recorded on his phone and sent it to the officer.

The video clearly recorded everything that happened after Yan Zhuohua knocked on the door. It was obvious they were victims acting in self-defense, so the officer only briefly asked him about what had happened beforehand.

”My partner and I were attending a banquet. A Waiter spilled wine on him, and Mr. Zhao Zhongkai invited my partner to go upstairs to change. Everyone knows that’s an old trick, so I wasn’t at ease and followed a minute after they left. Upon reaching the upper floor, I found my partner’s phone on the ground, and that Waiter was walking toward me in a flustered hurry. Realizing something was wrong, I went to look for them. The rest is as shown in the video. I was afraid things wouldn’t be clear later, so I specifically recorded the video.”

”How did you know they were on the sixth floor?”

”I messaged my partner to ask, and also reminded him to be careful of any tricks.”

”Then, after getting to the sixth floor, how did you find the room your partner was in?”

”I saw the direction the Waiter came from. Walking all the way there, I saw a lounge at the end and guessed he might have been taken to the room next to it. I knocked using our usual pattern, and there was a response, so I confirmed it.” Yan Zhuohua hid the matter of the tracking; he didn’t want to reveal something that could save his life in a critical moment just yet. However, this wasn’t an important detail and wouldn’t affect the case.

After the brief questioning, Yan Zhuohua was allowed to rest in the nearby reception room. Entering the police station twice in just one month wasn’t easy for him; fortunately, it wasn’t the same one, or it would have been quite embarrassing.

Yan Qinghe’s questioning was also quick. On the surface, he had followed them upstairs normally, only to be knocked out as soon as he stepped out of the elevator. When he woke up again, he heard Yan Zhuohua’s knocking, so he immediately fought back. The rest followed the video.

The witnesses who had driven there themselves gave very consistent reasons and testimonies.

They had been invited by Zhao Mingting to the sixth floor to see antiques, and then they saw the crime scene; their timeline was even simpler.

These witnesses were all big shots who usually put on airs. Having a rare opportunity to participate in such a case for the first time, they were all quite excited, wishing they could switch careers to detectives on the spot. Not only did they cooperate in answering questions, but they also worked hard to provide the officer with the background information of both families and analyze the case.

The atmosphere in the interrogation room could be described as bustling with excitement.

”Officer, let me tell you, these are common tactics in wealthy families!”

”The Zhao family saw that the Head of the Yan Family and his wife couldn’t have children, so they wanted to use this method to conceive a child and force their way into power!”

”Officer, don’t have a prejudice against people like us; we are also upright citizens with good values! As for that Zhao family, they just want to rely on such despicable means to seize the Yan Family’s property! Our circle despises people like that the most!”

”Officer, officer, you only need to interrogate that Waiter thoroughly to find the truth. You must not let the person who planned this behind the scenes get away.”

”...”

The enthusiastic citizens of A City provided the police with comprehensive background information and directions for the investigation, making them the ultimate NPCs.

The young officer responsible for questioning the witnesses had never seen such a scene. His mind was filled with: ”Are you teaching me how to do my job? These people must be a bit mental.”

After they all finished their statements, they prepared to go home. At the entrance of the police station, the witnesses and the victims gathered together.

”Sorry for the trouble of having you all come to testify for us,” Yan Qinghe thanked them.

”No trouble at all, this is much more interesting than that lifeless banquet!”

”Exactly, call me again if something like this happens next time!”

”What do you call this today? A meeting of A City’s big shots from all walks of life at the police station!”

”Right, this is all great conversation fodder...”

Watching this group chat openly at the police station entrance, the officer who saw them out had gone numb. With the leaders of various sectors in A City being so unreliable, they were very worried about A City’s future.

By the time the last lingering witness was sent off, it was already eleven o’clock at night.

The family driver was waiting at the door, and Yan Zhuohua and Yan Qinghe got straight into the car. That deep blue suit had been put away; it looked like it couldn’t be cleaned.

Yan Qinghe sat in the back seat, holding that necktie with great distress.

”Stop looking at it. I’ll buy you another one next weekend, okay?” Yan Zhuohua couldn’t bear to watch any longer.

”How can that be the same? This is the first gift you ever gave me!” Yan Qinghe’s voice was full of sorrow.

”Fine, put it down first. I’ll wash it for you when we get back, okay? It’s only a little stained; it can definitely be cleaned.” Yan Zhuohua coaxed him gently.

”But the material is so fine; will it get ruined if washed too hard?” Yan Qinghe was still immersed in his heartache.

”Yan Qinghe!” The sound of teeth grinding came from beside him.

Yan Qinghe immediately put down the tie and leaned over to hug Yan Zhuohua, who was glaring at him fiercely.

”It’s just a tie; I’ll wait for you to buy me a new one!” Yan Qinghe quietly changed the subject. ”By the way, how did you know the Zhao family was planning to scheme against me today? Don’t tell me it was intuition; I won’t believe it!”

Yan Zhuohua couldn’t be bothered to argue with him.

”Qiao Rongjing has some connections with the Su Family. Su Mo probably realized something and contacted me through the Su Family and Qiao Rongjing on the way. When we first entered the hotel, Zhao Zijing even slipped me a note.”

After hearing Yan Zhuohua’s explanation, Yan Qinghe finally understood.

”What do you plan to do about the Zhao family?”

”No rush, the police procedures will take a few days. However, with the evidence being conclusive, those two won’t be able to escape anywhere.” Yan Zhuohua grabbed Yan Qinghe’s hand, which had already reached his chest, and gave him a helpless look.

”The Zhao family can bail them out first. When Zhao Mingting starts pulling strings, it’ll be hard to say.” Yan Qinghe’s skin had grown even thicker lately; he wasn’t embarrassed at all and continued to mess around in Yan Zhuohua’s hands.

”Then we’ll make it so they can’t be bailed out. The Zhao family is busy with internal power struggles; we only need to contact Zhao Zixing and cause some trouble for the Zhao Group, and the Zhao family won’t have the time to worry about those two for now.”

”True, didn’t Zhao Zixing tip you off just to secure his own position?” While talking, Yan Qinghe didn’t forget to continue stirring up trouble with his other hand.

Yan Zhuohua couldn’t take the teasing anymore and could only tightly grab the pair of hands wandering over his body, looking at Yan Qinghe pitifully.

”Weren’t you flirting with me quite happily at the banquet today? Why are you starting to resist now?” Yan Qinghe whispered into Yan Zhuohua’s ear. Even though his hands were caught, his fingers wouldn’t stay still, and he continued to torment Yan Zhuohua slowly while speaking.

Five or six hours have passed, how does he still remember! Yan Zhuohua had long since put that matter out of his mind; he never expected this man to be so vengeful. It seemed this wouldn’t end peacefully.

”I was wrong, let’s wait until we get back tonight, okay? The driver is still in the front!” Yan Zhuohua pleaded in a low voice.

Yan Qinghe thought about it with feigned difficulty and continued to whisper in Yan Zhuohua’s ear, ”Want me to let you off once? Fine. It just so happens you need to get me a new tie anyway, so why don’t we put this old one to good use, hm?”
