How am I Being a Gigolo When I'm Doing Door-to-door Sales?

106: Massage and conditioning for youHe looked deeply at Lan Yanran and nodded solemnly: ”Then... thank you, Sister Yanran.”

Just then, the screen of Lan Yanran’s phone, lying face down on the table, suddenly lit up.

It was a message back from that business partner.

Lan Yanran casually picked it up and tapped it open. As her eyes scanned the text on the screen, the corners of her mouth involuntarily curled upward.

It read: ”Director Lan, if you say something is good, then it definitely can’t be wrong! It seems my son was just making a fuss over nothing. Tell you what, I’ll go find that girl Qingyu right now and order a few sets for myself, and I’ll arrange some for the elders in my family too!”

Seeing this message, the image of her daughter’s serious face while ”acting as a micro-business agent” instantly surfaced in Lan Yanran’s mind.

Then she thought about her own seamless ”PR talk” just now, which had actually ended up pulling in orders for her daughter.

A strange and amusing feeling welled up in her heart.

This decisive Chairman of Lantu Group, usually so ruthless in the business world, finally couldn’t help but let out a soft ”pfft” of laughter.

Lin Chao’s ears were sharp, and he caught that irrepressible chuckle.

He raised an eyebrow with feigned curiosity, a probing smile hanging on his lips.

”Sister Yanran, did something wonderful happen?”

He teased: ”You’re laughing so happily, why not tell me so I can share in the joy?”

Hearing this, Lan Yanran raised her shimmering eyes and looked at him with a beaming smile.

In that gaze, there was a hint of mystery and a touch of pride.

”For you...” she intentionally dragged out the last word, her red lips parting slightly, ”it’s also a very good thing.”

”For me?”

Lin Chao was truly a bit dazed now.

He racked his brains for a long time but couldn’t think of what ”good thing” could have happened to him recently, other than that 1.2 million.

Lan Yanran looked at his bewildered expression, and the smile in her eyes deepened.

She didn’t reveal the answer immediately, but instead elegantly picked up her chopsticks and took a piece of translucent shrimp dumpling.

”Eat first.”

”You’ll find out in a bit.”

The meal reached its end in this harmonious atmosphere, tinged with a bit of suspense.

The two put down their utensils, and the waiter timely served post-meal fruit and clear tea.

Lin Chao picked up his teacup, his gaze falling on Lan Yanran’s beautiful profile, which showed a trace of fatigue, and a thought occurred to him.

”Sister Yanran, have you been feeling unwell anywhere lately?”

”Your complexion looks good, but there seems to be a hint of weariness hidden between your brows.”

”If you need it, I can help you with a massage to regulate your body.”

Lan Yanran’s hand, which was holding the teacup, paused slightly.

She turned her head, a flash of surprise in her beautiful eyes, which then turned into a playful smile.

She lightly arched one eyebrow; she looked both like a crisp, capable career woman and possessed a charm unique to mature women.

”Oh?”

”Why is my little brother being so proactive today?”

Lin Chao met her gaze candidly, giving a relaxed shrug.

An innocent smile appeared on his face, as if he were stating something perfectly natural.

”Well, I just feel a bit guilty taking so much money from you.”

He sighed half-seriously, then changed his tone, his eyes glinting with a bit of mischief.

”So I was thinking of paying with my body.”

”Paying... with your body?” These words hit Lan Yanran like an electric current.

Her pretty face turned red with a ”whoosh,” that flush being more intense than any of the previous ones.

”You... what nonsense are you talking!” Her voice carried a hint of embarrassed reproach. ”What do you mean by ’paying with your body’? That sounds so ambiguous!”

The smile on Lin Chao’s face deepened, even taking on a slightly wicked flavor.

He looked at her blushing cheeks and explained slowly.

”I’m providing my physical labor to give you a relaxing massage. Isn’t that just using my body to pay the debt?”

He paused, intentionally leaning in a bit closer, his voice dropping lower with a captivating, magnetic quality.

”If we’re talking about ambiguity...”

”Perhaps the term ’repaying with flesh’ is even more ambiguous?”

Boom!

Lan Yanran felt like her cheeks were hot enough to fry an egg.

”You!”

She glared at Lin Chao with both embarrassment and anger, but that gaze had no lethality; instead, it was like a feather, tickling one’s heart.

”You’re getting more and more glib with your tongue!”

Despite saying so, she wasn’t truly angry.

Lin Chao’s bold teasing, filled with a bit of twisted logic, actually made her feel it was novel and exciting.

She fell silent for a moment, as if she were actually considering it seriously.

Then, she let out a soft sigh and unconsciously leaned back, her posture relaxing.

”However...”

She glanced at Lin Chao, the corners of her mouth curving in a helpless arc.

”You’re actually right.”

”My shoulders and neck have indeed been a bit sore lately, especially after sitting in meetings for so long. My neck is almost stiff.”

Upon hearing this, a sharp light immediately flashed in Lin Chao’s eyes.

The opportunity had come.

”Then what are we waiting for?”

He immediately stood up, his tone full of matter-of-fact attentiveness.

”How about I give you a massage right now?”

Lan Yanran clearly hadn’t expected him to be so decisive and swift. A hint of surprise flashed in her clear eyes.

”Right... now?”

In this elegantly styled private dining room?

This was too... Lin Chao seemed to see through her concerns and gave a carefree smile.

”I’m full anyway, so it’s a good way to help digestion.”

He looked around the quaint, quiet, and empty private room and added.

”Besides, it’s peaceful here, the atmosphere is good, and no one will disturb us.”

His reasoning was impeccable, and his attitude was open and natural.

At this moment, Lan Yanran’s heart wavered completely.

The long-lasting aching sensation intertwined with the strange sense of security brought by the man before her.

Ultimately, she gave up her resistance.

She leaned her body completely against the mahogany chair with its soft back, turned her head slightly, and her long eyelashes fluttered like butterfly wings.

”Then...”

In her voice, there was a hint of expectation and obedience that even she hadn’t noticed.

”Go ahead and massage.”

Having received permission, Lin Chao took a long stride, steadily walked around the dining table, and came behind Lan Yanran.

A fresh and pleasant masculine scent faintly enveloped her as he approached.

Lan Yanran’s heart skipped a beat for no reason.

The next second, a pair of broad and warm hands gently, yet with absolute precision, rested on her rounded and soft shoulders.

His fingertips were slightly hot, with a hint of dry, thin calluses left from years of practice.

That touch was clearly transmitted to her skin through the thin silk shirt, bringing a slight shiver.

Immediately following, a force that was neither too light nor too heavy, but just right, began to slowly and deeply knead her stiff neck and shoulders.

”Mmm...”

An almost imperceptible soft moan escaped Lan Yanran’s red lips, carrying a hint of a lazy nasal tone.

That sound was like a feather, gently scratching at Lin Chao’s heart.
