How am I Being a Gigolo When I'm Doing Door-to-door Sales?

102: Adult GamesHe stopped his movements, still wanting more, and gave her a deep look before rolling off her and sitting to the side.

Xie Mengya also sat up, the snow-white silk quilt sliding from her shoulders to reveal a large expanse of captivating spring scenery.

She couldn’t help herself and reached out to pinch Lin Chao’s firm arm again. ”You guy, you really know how to toss someone around.”

She rolled her eyes at him, her red lips parting slightly as she said faintly, ”I really don’t know how your previous girlfriend could stand you.”

Hearing this, a self-deprecating curve hooked the corner of Lin Chao’s mouth.

”So what?” he spoke indifferently, his voice devoid of emotion. ”In the end, didn’t she still run off with someone else?”

Hearing this, Xie Mengya let out a dismissive snort, her tone filled with contempt for the woman she had never met.

”That’s because she had no taste.”

”Just a gold-digger with nothing but money in her eyes, how could she be worthy of you?”

As she spoke, she propped herself up on the soft mattress with her elbow, struggling to sit up.

The silk quilt slid down her rounded shoulders, revealing a large area of delicate skin and the lingering traces of intimacy from last night.

”Hiss...”

She let out a soft gasp of pain, her beautiful brows furrowing instantly.

”What’s wrong?”

Lin Chao immediately asked with concern.

Xie Mengya gave him an annoyed look, one hand rubbing her slender, delicate waist.

”Look at you...”

Her red lips were slightly open, but the words that followed remained unsaid; however, her resentful gaze explained everything.

Lin Chao’s heart stirred, and he immediately leaned in, his tone full of attentiveness.

”Is your waist sore?”

”Come, lie face down, I’ll give you a massage.”

Without waiting for Xie Mengya to react, Lin Chao pushed her down without another word, letting her lie on the bed in a comfortable position.

His warm, large hands, carrying a trace of pure internal energy, covered her sore waist.

”Mm...”

Xie Mengya let out a comfortable hum, her tense body relaxing instantly like a lazy cat.

Lin Chao’s technique was extremely professional, his strength varying as he pressed accurately on every acupoint.

Wherever his fingertips passed, streams of warmth seeped into her skin, quickly dissolving the muscle soreness and fatigue.

For a moment, only the steady breathing of the two and the occasional chirping of birds from outside remained in the bedroom.

The atmosphere became romantic and lingering once again.

As the soreness in her waist gradually disappeared, it was replaced by waves of indescribable numbness.

Lin Chao’s breathing also became somewhat heavy.

His hand began to unconsciously follow that perfect curve, slowly moving downward.

The temperature in the air seemed to rise several degrees in an instant.

Xie Mengya suddenly jolted, snapping back to her senses.

Like a startled fawn, her body trembled slightly, and she quickly pressed down on Lin Chao’s wandering hand.

”Don’t...”

Her voice carried a hint of trembling and an undisguisable plea: ”I really have to go see a very important client this afternoon.”

Lin Chao’s movements paused.

The skin under his palm was delicate and warm, making it hard for him to pull away.

But he ultimately stopped, letting out a long breath of turbid air and forcibly suppressing the wicked fire that had just flared up in his heart.

”Ring ring ring—”

Just then, the phone on the nightstand rang at an inopportune time.

The crisp ringing completely shattered the ambiguous atmosphere in the room.

Lin Chao reached for the phone and glanced at the screen.

The caller ID displayed three words—Sister Yanran.

His brow furrowed imperceptibly, and he subconsciously glanced at Xie Mengya, who was still lying on the bed.

After only a second’s hesitation, he swiped to answer and turned on the speakerphone.

His hands, as if nothing had happened, continued to knead Xie Mengya’s shoulders with moderate pressure.

”Hello, Sister Yanran,” Lin Chao’s voice was calm and natural.

Hearing this name, Xie Mengya’s eyelashes fluttered slightly, though her eyes remained closed.

Her ears, however, perked up unobtrusively.

From the other end of the line, Lan Yanran’s capable and crisp voice immediately came through.

”Little brother, I have good news for you.”

”Lantu Group has officially signed cooperation agreements with those small companies. Their goods can enter our warehouse today.”

”That’s great,” Lin Chao said sincerely.

”I’ve also heard that Zheng Guangzhi is currently overwhelmed and can’t even take care of himself, let alone find the energy to trouble those small companies again,” Lan Yanran’s tone carried a hint of satisfaction.

”Our supply source on this side is now completely stabilized.”

”This time, it’s all thanks to your coordination and support, especially regarding President Xie’s side...”

At this point, Lan Yanran paused. ”So, I want to treat you to a meal today to thank you in person.”

Lan Yanran quickly continued.

”Do you have time at noon?”

Without even thinking, Lin Chao immediately agreed. ”Sure, no problem.”

”Alright then, I’ll send you the location on wechat later. I have another meeting here, so I’ll hang up first.”

Lan Yanran was clearly a busy person; she hung up decisively after finishing her sentence.

Silence returned to the room.

Lin Chao silently put away his phone and continued massaging Xie Mengya.

After a few seconds, Xie Mengya suddenly turned around, propping her head up with her elbow as she lay on her side looking at him.

A half-smile was on her face, and her eyes were full of playfulness.

”It seems...” she said slowly, her red lips parting.

”Our great hero is about to receive that one million reward?”

Hearing this, a meaningful smile also appeared on Lin Chao’s face.

He leaned down, getting close to Xie Mengya’s ear, his warm breath brushing against her sensitive earlobe.

”Then how about I treat Sister Mengya to dinner tonight as an early celebration?”

Xie Mengya’s eyes rippled with light as she giggled like a cunning fox.

She extended her slender index finger and lightly tapped Lin Chao’s lips, preventing him from getting closer.

”Not today.”

”After I see my client this afternoon, I have an important dinner to host tonight. I can’t get away.”

She paused, the playfulness in her eyes deepening. ”You should go spend time with your little girlfriend instead; don’t keep her waiting.”

Lin Chao’s thoughts raced in an instant.

The ’little girlfriend’ Xie Mengya mentioned naturally referred to Yan Qiaoqiao.

Although things hadn’t even started between him and Yan Qiaoqiao, he understood the subtext of these words.

Xie Mengya specifically pointing out a ’girlfriend’ was her way of explicitly telling him that she had no intention of developing a normal romantic relationship with him.

Between them, it was more like an unspoken adult game where each took what they needed.

Lin Chao couldn’t help but grumble in his heart: ’Am I really going to walk the path of a kept man until it ends in darkness?’

But on second thought, he felt that he couldn’t look at it that way.

After all, from beginning to end, he hadn’t lost out at all.

On the contrary, he had taken all the advantages.
