Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2199: Chapter 2193: Is It College Entrance Exam Time Already?

”Okay, I’ll definitely come.” Ouyang Ziyu listened and smiled. She had spent the past few years alone at home or in the hospital during holidays. Hearing that she could be together now, she felt pretty good. Having friends meant having company.

”Alright, it’s settled then.” Qin Xue thought it would be good to have another person to help. She would have a lot of things to handle in the future, so having more help would certainly be the happiest outcome.

Moreover, right now, nothing was more important to her than this, because it’s hard to find a close friend. Ouyang Ziyu genuinely liked being with them, so hearing that she could come out every week to meet them made her feel the happiest.

”Alright, I’ll definitely keep my word.” Qin Xue reached out her hand in front of Ouyang Ziyu.

”Xuexue, has Xiao Yu received the notice yet? At this point, he should have received it, right?” Qing Zhu thought Xiao Yu was aiming to get into Imperial Academy. At this time, he should have received it.

”I don’t know either. I haven’t seen any letter from them. I’ll check when I get home. If there’s no letter, I’ll write one to inquire.” Qin Xue had also been thinking about this issue in recent days. Now that Qing Zhu asked, she had to make sure to follow up.

”Yeah, if he’s admitted, we’ll prepare living supplies for him. We have to make sure he has a good time studying here.” Qing Zhu treated Qin Yu like her own brother, mainly because he was Qin Xue’s brother, someone she cared about. After feeling the care from the whole Qin family, she started considering the entire Qin clan as her own family.

That’s true; who would treat a stranger like their own family? But she felt this kind of affection. So when Nangong Shulan proposed to make her a goddaughter, she agreed. After all, she had no family here, and Qin Xue’s family treated her well, so she was willing to have such a familial bond.

Now, if Qin Yu really did get admitted, then as sisters, they must treat him well.

Because here, they were a family, relatives, and only by working together could they go further and do better.

”Okay, I have no objection. When the time comes, whether he chooses to stay on campus or at home is up to him.” Qin Xue still didn’t know if he had been admitted or to which school. If he was accepted, which school would enroll him?

Since it’s unknown now, she’ll ask first and let him decide later.

It must be said, Qin Xue as an elder sister really considered Qin Yu’s situation. Because if it’s too far, commuting back and forth would be exhausting, especially during night classes, when it’s too late and not safe. If Qin Yu’s school is far, it might be better to let him stay on campus.

But given the current unknown situation, talking too much now might be premature.

”Did your brother take the college entrance exam so soon?” Ouyang Ziyu remembered that he hadn’t taken it yet, wasn’t he studying at night school?

”Yes, he did take the exam. Just whether he was admitted is yet to be known.” Qin Xue indeed forgot, otherwise she would’ve asked her brother earlier how he did.

In the past, Qin Xue often checked her answers after exams to get a rough idea of how she did.

But with inconvenient transportation and communication here, discussing the answers with her brother wasn’t easy, which made her forget due to being busy.

She only thought about it a few days ago, and today Qing Zhu brought it up, which made her realize she hadn’t fulfilled her duties as a sister properly.
