Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2184: Chapter 2178: Mastering the Art of Research

When Qin Xue heard about this, she felt Ouyang Ziyu truly knew how to delve into research.

Radiology emerged during wartime, back then the machines were big and cumbersome, making transportation very inconvenient. However, for the health of the soldiers, they were carried regardless of the effort, and they helped many soldiers. Even now, for decades there are still conditions that cannot be met.

Now Ouyang Ziyu’s desire to research this isn’t bad at all; on the contrary, once successful, it could be a major breakthrough.

Thinking about this, Qin Xue shared some of her knowledge with Ouyang Ziyu.

”Qin Xue, are you saying this will soon be perfected, and another disease will appear before people?” Ouyang Ziyu asked after hearing Qin Xue’s words.

”Yes, but I don’t know much about that, and I truly can’t help you.” Qin Xue was talking about oncology; this disease is quite recognized abroad but not in Hua Country yet, as various conditions aren’t advanced enough, so many diseases remain unbeknownst to people.

But this issue truly exists, and it wasn’t until ’95 in Hua Country that a book on oncology appeared, marking a gap of over a decade. During this time, no one truly understood the intricacies of this illness, which is why everyone now dreads cancer.

As technology isn’t up to par and there’s no way to fight cancer, many medications are too expensive, and many people can’t afford them, which also leads to another reason cancer can suddenly claim people’s lives.

Qin Xue is just a general surgeon; she is familiar with surgery but doesn’t understand oncology. She said this hoping Ouyang Ziyu wouldn’t just focus on radiology; perhaps she could find a new train of thought.

”Alright, I thought you knew how to do it, seems like I still have to rely on myself to figure out a way.” Ouyang Ziyu initially thought she had found a solution, but after speaking, she realized she still had to find resources and inspiration herself.

”When a new disease hasn’t appeared before, people often don’t know how to treat it. Only through countless experiments and trials can they succeed. Do you think I could become a deity by knowing a little?” Qin Xue looked at her helplessly; if it were so easy, she’d truly be a legend.

Although she’s an unlikely existence now, she came into others’ lives just like that. As long as she doesn’t speak, and Chu Molin doesn’t speak, no one would know what kind of existence she possesses, right?

Moreover, rebirth is something without scientific basis; it’s impossible. Yet, the three of them have been reborn in this era, and wouldn’t it sound unbelievable if told?

Therefore, many things aren’t about what one can’t imagine, but rather won’t imagine. Oncology was conquered later, wasn’t it? Now many people with such diseases are cured through surgery, living decades longer. So it’s said: No mission is impossible, just fearful of the earnest; this ironclad rule holds true because it rings so true.

Now Ouyang Ziyu wants to look for resources; though difficult, it’s not impossible. She merely mentioned it to help open a new avenue of thought, unaware if this would propel history differently?

Qin Xue doesn’t want everything to change because of her, but she also wants those around her to be well, so in her heart, as long as the big picture isn’t affected, small changes are acceptable.
