Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2001: Chapter 1995: Ruan Xinya

Although she has a share in the family business and is designated to inherit it, she simply doesn’t want to do it. It was supposed to be her elder brother’s, but it was forcibly pushed onto her. No one ever asked her what she really needed; they just kept forcing things onto her.

But none of that is what she wants. All she desires is for the family to be together happily. However, because of her mother, her elder and second brothers are not at home, leaving her alone with her parents. She doesn’t feel any sense of home. So, after finishing high school, she went abroad for college and has only just recently returned.

Upon returning, she didn’t mention a word to her family and directly rented a place outside. She found this place quite nice and wanted to check it out. Although it hasn’t been long since it started, the reputation she’s heard is good, so she wanted to see if it lives up to it.

”Stick with what you think is right; don’t negate yourself just because others do. Everyone’s existence has its own meaning.” Qin Xue hadn’t expected that someone who seemed so capable was unable to gain her family’s support.

Indeed, in this era, if a family isn’t relatively affluent, who would let their child study these things? Many consider it only slightly more advanced than bricklaying, never thinking of it as designing places for people to live. If a place isn’t comfortable to live in, who would want to stay there?

So, in Qin Xue’s view, anyone who can study design must have a delicate heart.

She just realized this about the woman, noticing that initially, when the woman ahead was speaking, she didn’t react, only showing a hint of disapproval. But later, when the conversation shifted towards her, she interrupted, thwarting the other woman’s targeting efforts. Because of this, Qin Xue found her impressive.

Since Qin Xue found her admirable, she naturally wouldn’t treat her the same way she did the previous woman.

”Looks like I wasn’t wrong about you.” Upon hearing Qin Xue’s words, Ruan Xinya’s eyes brightened, realizing someone understood her thoughts.

”Haha, thank you for seeing me in a positive light. Wish you swift success. I have something to attend to, see you.” Qin Xue saw someone coming over from across the room. She wasn’t really there for the interview, so she decided not to join in.

”Weren’t you here for the interview? If you leave now, won’t you miss out on the job?” Ruan Xinya looked at Qin Xue, thinking she was there seeking a job just like them.

”Yes, but I don’t want this position, so I’m not participating. Good luck.” Qin Xue waved to Ruan Xinya and left.

”That woman is really something, so wilful.” Ruan Xinya indeed found Qin Xue a bit capricious. How can someone come looking for a job and then decide not to do it on a whim? At least give it a try, see if she could get affirmed; what if she got hired?

Looking at her, she must be from a well-off family; otherwise, she wouldn’t dress so well.

Ruan Xinya thought to herself. She hadn’t seen this style on Qin Xue even when abroad; it must have been custom-made. Thinking this, she was surprised. Since when did the Imperial Capital have someone like her, and this company also grew so rapidly in such a short time.

It seems that both the individuals and connections must be impressive; otherwise, they wouldn’t have established themselves so quickly in this fast-paced environment. Although she’s been away for many years, there are still people who keep her informed about this place. It seems the Imperial Capital will be something different.
