Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1995: Chapter 1989: Drawbacks

Qin Xue’s thoughts are very well-founded, but doing so also has a downside: a woman like this, when a man looks at her for too long, can cause visual fatigue.

And gradually, the feelings might face a crisis, so Qin Xue doesn’t want to be a housewife who relies on a man to live; she wants to be a woman who excels in both life and career, because confident women are the most beautiful and attractive.

At times like this, men are not afraid of women becoming haggard, but rather fear that suitors may come to compete with them.

So, the best way for a woman is not to give up her career because of marriage, nor compromise her ideals and abandon her goals because of children; otherwise, the result waiting for you is definitely not what you want.

Why is that the case? Because you originally had a job, you were economically independent. You could spend as much as you wanted; no one could control you; there was no way to control you.

But, when you give up your job and devote yourself wholeheartedly to the home, you are showing weakness, because your focus is entirely on your family and children. You’ve lost your job, your income, and without financial resources, you have to ask your husband for money.

Initially, your husband can understand this, but gradually, he might feel that he is supporting you and the family. Once a conflict arises, he would think to himself, ”I’m supporting you, you’re someone who doesn’t work, doesn’t earn, living off leisure, what right do you have to speak, what reason do you have to complain?”

At such times, men think only of their contributions, while you have no job, no income, have done nothing, and he has to support you at home. But he forgets that if you weren’t there managing all the household matters, how could he work outside peacefully?

If you weren’t home taking care of the children and being filial to his parents, how could he work without worries? But he doesn’t see all you contribute because you have no job, no economic income, so your efforts aren’t considered efforts; because you are asking him for money, because he spends money to support you.

So Qin Xue doesn’t want to be this kind of woman; irrespective of circumstances, she will manage her own work well, not living for anyone else, but living for herself and for those who love her.

And she’s lucky, she’s met a man who loves her, has a lovely child, and has family members who love her behind her, so she can so freely pursue what she wants to do.

This kind of thinking, Chu Molin doesn’t know. He simply thinks Qin Xue likes it, thus lets her be, not realizing sometimes thinking and doing are completely different things.

Because Qin Xue has seen much, her actions differ from the ordinary person’s, which is one aspect that attracts Chu Molin.

As a result, in many matters, Qin Xue handles them well, never requiring Chu Molin to worry, so he’s unaware of what Qin Xue wants to do.

Truly, his wife is too capable; he can’t be of use for anything. Initially, he didn’t believe it, but after seeing it over and over, he had to marvel at his luck in marrying an almost omnipresent wife.

No one else probably has his good fortune in this world, otherwise, the world would be full of smart people.
