Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1967: Chapter 1961: Disgust

”No, he drowned his sorrows in alcohol and got beaten by your brother. I came because Chu Molin called me. Li Zhao wants to have a good talk with you. He said he and you can move out with the child, and he doesn’t want you to have a second child, just wants to live a good life with you. What’s your opinion? Can you tell me?” Qin Xue saw An Hao straightforward, so she was straightforward too.

It wasn’t her nature to be secretive; if she could speak directly, she would choose to be forthright.

”I’ve already proposed divorce, I’m waiting for his response.” An Hao knew her decision was somewhat shocking, but she was really tired, didn’t want to continue like this.

She thought about many things in recent days. Although no one had divorced before, she knew when two people couldn’t live together, an application could be proposed. However, the premise for divorce was mutual consent, and there should be negotiations, so she was now waiting for Li Zhao’s reply.

”No room for negotiation?” Qin Xue looked at the determined An Hao; no one had proposed divorce in this era, so why was An Hao so insistent on leaving? Did something happen?

”Yes, divorce.” An Hao nodded. She had decided; she had thought about it for a long time. She didn’t want them to come to this point, but she had no choice.

”Why are you so adamant? He agreed not to have a second child and won’t live at home, but move out to live a little life with you. By logic, this outcome is also pretty good, but you still won’t relent. Can you tell me if there’s something else we don’t know?” Qin Xue had known her for so long, had never felt this way; now An Hao was the kind who’s so hardened she couldn’t listen to anything.

”Nothing, just understood a lot of things, so I don’t want to continue. Let’s release him and also myself. Since there’s no precedent for divorce, I’ll set this precedent.” An Hao said this after listening to Qin Xue.

Otherwise, how could she tell Qin Xue her mother-in-law used the threat of death to force her to leave her son? Remembering what she heard when she returned home from the store that day.

”Aunt Chen, do you think Li Zhao really wants to divorce An’an? I can see he doesn’t mind having only a daughter.” Ou Keren looked at Chen Lei.

”She won’t have a second child, and Zhaozi is our family’s sole heir; how can that be? Although I also like An’an, without a son, it won’t work.” Chen Lei wasn’t disliking An Hao, she was just forcing her to have another son.

”Aunt Chen, if you do this, Li Zhao will be upset. I can see he loves An’an; if you do this, he will hate you.” Ou Keren originally thought Chen Lei liked her, wishing Li Zhao would divorce An Hao and marry her. But upon hearing now, it turns out it’s because An Hao didn’t have a son.

Then what else can she say, of course, to make their relationship deteriorate to achieve her own goal.

”I’m still his mother, how could he forget me once he has a wife?” Chen Lei originally didn’t have any discontent, but hearing Ou Keren’s words, she developed a sense of disgust towards An Hao.

Previously she didn’t think An Hao was lacking, but now she just wanted her to have a second child, a son, yet she refused.

The Lis have only one heir; An Hao only had a girl, whom she also loves, but not having a son is simply unacceptable. If she won’t do it, then someone else has to.
