Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1982: Chapter 1976: Chive Pockets

The couple collaborated quickly, and before long, a dinner appeared before everyone.

”Qin Xue, what is this?” An Hao looked at the golden brown pieces.

”Chives pockets, have a taste.” Qin Xue placed a plate of chives pockets in front of An Hao. She had made a table full of pastries, buns, chives pockets, and shaved noodles.

”Wow, it smells really good, don’t you think, kids?” An Hao served the children before picking up a piece to eat.

”Yes.” The children had never tried Qin Xue’s chives pockets before, and after taking a bite, the taste tantalized their taste buds, leaving them wanting more.

”It’s indeed very fragrant.” Fang Xiu saw them enjoying it and picked up a piece to eat as well. It was really good, no wonder they liked it so much.

”Exactly, Qin Xue, when you have time, could you teach me how to make this? It doesn’t seem too difficult.” An Hao looked at these chives pockets filled with stuffing, appearing very simple.

”The method is straightforward, if you want to do it, it’s not impossible.” Qin Xue raised an eyebrow, it was rare to hear An Hao asking to learn how to cook.

Speaking of which, making chives pockets is truly not difficult. After letting the dough rise, leave it to rest while you prepare the filling. Finely chop the chives, fry and chop the eggs, mix them with the chives, add salt and seasonings, and mix everything well to make the filling.

Knead the rested dough to release air, pinch off a piece and flatten it with your palm, roll it into a thin wrapper, fill it with the prepared filling, pleat the edges, and pan-fry until golden brown, then it’s ready to eat. It looks good and tastes good, and the method is simple.

Learning to cook really isn’t hard, as long as you do it with care, you can quickly pick it up. It’s fine as long as you don’t make it too complicated, simple is doable.

”Really? Then I’ll be waiting for you to teach me, otherwise I’d have to trouble you to make it every time I want to eat it. Like you said, it’s better to know how to do things yourself.” An Hao now relies on herself, otherwise once divorced, how would she raise her children? She can’t always rely on her grandparents; they’re getting old, and she doesn’t have the heart to burden them. Letting them enjoy their retirement should be the way.

”Sure, as long as it’s something I know, I can teach you whatever you want to learn.” Qin Xue recalled that she should have let An Hao learn when Chu Xiaoqiao was learning, but at the time, An Hao was heavily pregnant and it was inconvenient. Also, she couldn’t move in with her like Chu Xiaoqiao did, so it wasn’t convenient for her to learn. That’s why she didn’t ask An Hao to learn at that time.

Now that she’s recovered, seeing that she wants to learn, she’ll teach her what she knows, so that future days can be a bit easier.

”Qin Xue, you’re just too wonderful.” An Hao was so moved, she was on the verge of tears.

”Sister-in-law is indeed great; otherwise, the boss wouldn’t cherish her like his precious gem.” Xiao Qi came in, hearing An Hao praising Qin Xue.

Xiao Qi also thought highly of Qin Xue, whether it was her cooking or the way she treated their group of friends, there was nothing to complain about.

It was truly fortunate for the boss to have found such a good wife. Although he wasn’t living with his family, having such a good wife and smart kids meant the boss finally found happiness after hardship.

Xiao Qi looked at them, harmoniously together, and thought of that heartless woman. What was she doing now?

The woman they were speaking of watched the scenery rush past outside the car window. She had returned abroad. She hadn’t told her father she was pregnant and had used an excuse to leave with Rain. She’d arranged everything at work, planning to make other decisions after the baby’s birth.
